I think 15 by new years sounds great! Too high a goal, and we'll all fall to the side with the Holidays upon us soon. NOW, we all mean to be perfect at those dinners and parties, but sometimes the reality bites. I want to be as good as I can, and try to balance my slip ups by being extra good the rest of the time.

I've had a good yesterday. Took the day off, slept in, up to grocery shop with BFF, ate on plan all day even at steak n shake. She bought a caramel apple thingy with candy on it and offered me half. I declined and said "candied apples make my knees hurt." She got it. One of the reasons for me to lose weight is my knees hurt.

I plan to use that line as much as possible. It reinforced my reason as I declined. Felt powerful.
I've made a 9 lb loss so far. Not as good as some, but I'm better than I used to be for it. I'm never 100% compliant. I lost that powerful beginners inertia way back, I just keep on keepin' on and it works slowly fo rme.
