  • I'm with you Violet, mine's always slow, usually even if I'm compliant, which I'm not always. We'll get there too!
  • We are all winners we all lost but everyone remember we have one more day till Halloween

And the next challenge starts on Tuesday (or after weigh in on Monday) -- 15 by New Years ... should I start a new thread for that so we can all check in ..

It is still cold and windy here but at least for us none of the snow stuck (because it rained too much before ) but lots of trees and wires down in the area - think I may have to turn the heat up a bit today ... And get back to work on my nice cushy slipper socks .. Then maybe I'll make some fingerless mitts ...

Yes ma'am! Having the support from you guys helps a lot and I'm SO thankful for that

    Close enough! Congrats!

Also, congrats to everyone else in this challenge too!! Up or down...doesn't matter...the fact that everyone is helping each other out is the thing that sticks out here. Yes, it's frustrating if that little analog display isn't where you'd like. Take what you've learned over the last 2 or 3 months (good and bad) to help you with the next challenge. If you're new at this, reaching your goal may not happen during your first attempt...took me at least 4 attempts. So don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen first time around. Get back up, jump on the New Year's challenge, and keep going! Good luck!
  • Well, candy pig out day is done - and I only ate some M&M's. Not bad for a day that revolves around candy!

I didn't quite make the challenge (almost 12 pounds), but I'm not disappointed. It often felt like it pushed me to be included, and often that affected my decisions. Now, what's next? I'm ready to go again...
  • Sask - thanks if the weigh in had been today I would have surpassed the goal but yesterday was an up day... I weigh myself daily and it seems to follow a pattern ... Weigh in day is a down day the next day or two are usually the same then there are either the same or down a bit then an up day and then a down day and weigh in day is down again... So by the laws of averages Monday was an up day.
