Natamars sticking to soup isn't as virtuous as it sounds. Pizza and wings has never been a go-to for me... Now, if they decided they were going to have Skittles and Twizzlers for dinner, that would have been a different story LOL

Jennifer just post when you can. Everyone is different in terms of how they want to / can use the board... Glad your weight is moving down Oh, and the WF recipe, the way I made it, was too spicy but still quite good. I will try again...

Natamars great job on resisting the candy. That's an area where I can fall down easily...

Kelijpa all those steps are amazing! And how great that you and DH are in this together!

Guac absolutely. All we can do is keep going. What other choice is there? Glad to hear you're finally getting some results.

Here, I am *almost* back to my pre-Indian-restaurant weight. See why I dreaded going so much?! But it was worth it... I'm in this for the long haul, and the fact is, I love Indian restaurants, and there will be more Indian restaurants in my future. So, all is good.

Hi ALL you wonderful romantics....

natamars - 4 miler sounds really good for March... it's great to have that goal for yourself I think

Guac - that's so impressive...you are so near to your GW...fair play to you

Jennifer1966 - great to hear you enjoyed Ireland....the weather may start getting better now ( ever the optimist !!! you know we're not known for our sunny climate) which will make it that bit easier to exercise....that's what I'm thinking anyway

newleaf123 - like the mantra on Indian restaurants...

kelijpa - couldn't agree with you more on the challenge...it really does work.

Have just made a batch of weightwatchers 0 points veggie soup. I find if I have it on hand in the freezer it can help me through....
Just channel V DAY...

CurleyCarr it's so fascinating to me that tomorrow is considered the beginning of Spring for you! Here, we are still in the deep freeze of winter, and Spring doesn't roll around usually until mid-March.

Yes even for us its a bit too early ( note to self) ...but its official so we start to hop skip and jump around and say things like isn't it getting brighter....

Thing is our weather is generally mild ( in other words wet and damp with the odd ray of sunshine !) that we enjoy these little rituals of celebration ( cue sarcasm....)

Seize the V day....

Hey chiclets! Well here we are , February 1....two weeks until VDAY.....I am frustrated with myself. I never had such a rough time losing weight before and it is very sobering and making me very humble!! I guess it is true what they say, you reach a certain age and metabolism takes a nose dive....I always heard about it but never thought it would happen to me so young.......

I feel there is always something thrown in the mix to ruin things for me...for temptation to rear its ugly head. last night i went to dinner with friends....tried to keep away from carbs but it was an italian restaurant..how could I not??? Had bread before dinner, angel hair with my entree and then split a dessert with my friend. Hello one lb gain! Sunday is superbowl sunday..i know there is going to be a ton of food there that is going to be tempting...I almost don't want to go. I have a very heavy friend and her life revolves around food..its all she thinks about and talks about...and she keeps asking me what i'm bringing to the party. I hate to tell her that I don't want to go. I'm not into football so whats the point? eating???? How ridiculous is that? Yes, it would be nice to see friends but the focus is so much on the crappy food that is going to be served......and then next week i'm sure there will be soething else...until i can get my life under control I can't be subjected to things that are going to help me sabotage myself......

So here we are, two weeks! Let's do this ish ladies!!!!! I'm going to stick with my low carb plan and really going to kick up the workouts.....there will be a lot of gym time put in this weekend..I went to zumba this morning, going to yoga tonight...and then plan on getting some weightlifting and dreadmill in this weekend ....

At 1265 calories for the day and tryig to stop here. Went back to the pizza place and got dinner for DS and DH but nothing for myself. For a while we were getting a pizza every Friday and I'd end up eating 3-4 slices over 2 days..now I just buy them individual slices.

Dd NOT get in exercise today. A work problem cropped up this morning and ended up at a Cub Scout thing this afternoon, and now have to get DS to absketball practice. I promise I will do some resistance work at home tonight. And two cardio sessions this weekend, hopefully including a run outside - my new running shoes should be here tomorrow!

Gotta get DS ready to go - check in with you later. I need the help today!!

Good job, Heidi! You are so close to the V Day goal!

I'm going to a party tonight, so I need to use some willpower to make good choices. I know I'll be eating and drinking, but hopefully I'll have some self-control. The cocktails will be the hardest to not go overboard on because the hostess makes the most incredible drinks ever

Wish me luck!

Good luck Jennifer........

Im still at the same exact weight...want to throw this scale out the window....

Have a date tonight and find myself playing the camouflage game....what to wear to hide my big rump and thighs.....

I decided not to go to the Super Bowl party tomorrow so I won't be around the food...it's all going to be crap and a big temptation....

Limiting myself to one glass of wine tonight........

Saturday: 1060 calories, 45 min elliptical
What made me proud: Worked the "fun fair" at DS's school and didn't eat anything

Definitely feeling back in the groove and have adjusted to lower calories. Would love to see a whoosh on the scale

Welcome, Simba!

A date, Zumba! You've been holding out! Hope you're having a good time and I'm sure you look gorgeous!

Jennifer, hope you're having fun and enjoying the cocktails!

newleaf, stay strong!

curley, hope you had an awesome run - I'm looking forward to mine tomorrow if the snow has stopped!
