I couldn't get PP's purse to come up on my browser but I'll all over awesome purses. I've been buying "that perfect" bag all year (black one, blue one, brown one, large one, small one...). I'm trying to get back to knitting. Awesome idea to have half purse/half knitting.

I tried veggie shreds by Galaxy Nutritional Foods--vegetarian cheese. I got the Parmesan, Mozzarella & Romano blend. It behaved like a cheese on my salad. I didn't quite like the flavor but then I thought it was cheddar. So, I do think it takes just like a Parmesan, Mozzarella & Romano blend. Now want to try the cheddar.

I've also been eating vegetarian "meatless" faux-chicken cutlets and vegetarian bufflo wings. All really really good.

Got two hours biking in and now it's pouring rain. Nice to get lots of exercise outdoors and get a rain day out of the way, too.

Are you part of Ravelry?? Its a huge 'fiber' information site{knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning etc}joining is worth it for the free patterns alone! If you join search for and 'friend' me. Same user name! http://www.ravelry.com/

So, this is my third day and I am so enjoying 3FatChicks and the feedback on here! I look forward to chatting with you all!
Right now I am dying to go downstairs but I know the magnetic pull of the fridge will be very strong so I will stay up here with my daughter and my laptop and good book!
I did good with food, stayed in my calorie limit and got in an hour of walking.

Annie - you mentioned a 5 miler - are you a runner? I would love to run. Everyone looks free and happy and in shape. Did you follow a course/program? just curious.

Penguin - yummmm a pancake as a snack? any specific brand?

iaradajnos - 2 hours of bike riding??? You guys are inspirational!

Hope I'm not babbling too much!
Have a good Wednesday everyone.

Thanks, PP, for the knitting site. I just signed up and waiting to finish loggin in. Can't wait. I'm learning banjo, going to start knitting, and finding weekend getaways in New England. Trying to find new hobbies now that the kids are too big to let me go with them on play dates.

Hello Everyone - Doing ok here. Sticking to low carb plan , although I think I need to adjust my portions a bit. Still, haven't had any real cravings. Went to dinner with the family and only was able to eat 1/4 of my burger without any bun. It is really amazing how the hunger goes once you cut out the carbs. I have been under a lot of pressure this week (moving house, settlement Thursday, buyer keeps raising issues) but have avoided stress eating for the most part. Yes I could do better, and haven't really done much exercise, but I'm pleased with myself for sticking with this. Not sure if I have lost loads of weight - was still at 203 this morning, but I'll just stick with it.

RealMe-No, I don't run, I do the Leslie Sansone Walk At Home or Walk Away The Pounds DVDS. I can't do high impact anything because of knee issues. But I try to do between 3 and 5 miles daily during the week, sometimes I only have time for 2 miles. It's a chore to get up some mornings, but I love the way it makes me feel.

Going to lunch with Mom and Dad today. Randomly cleaning things and laundry for the rest of the day, with knitting intervals. Possibly a Firm in there too!

RealMe, We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner on Sun and I had the Whole grain + Granola pancakes. Very good! I only ate two so brought the last one home.

Quick update....still have not weighed myself for the past 2 1/2 weeks. However, I have been feeling like my clothing continues to get a bit looser.

Soo....I went to a store to "play" and was surprised to find a 16W Jones of New York little black dress. Normally, I don't see that size in a standard store, so naturally, I rushed to try it on. It was big on me! Like, too big to consider buying, big!

I went back to the racks and tried 3 different size 16s from three different designers and they all fit! A few weeks ago, I could zip and button, but 16 looked way too tight. Today it fit perfectly!

It seems kind of pathetic to be happy about being a true size 16, but at least I have more options now! There were at least 20 dresses in a size 16. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of them, but at least I can go to other stores and shop in the regular sizes now!

ETA - I just weighed myself and am down 2 lbs. Not sure why 2 lbs would make a difference between sizes, but, I'll take it! Still haven't reached my 179lb goal by 8/15, but I am 2 lbs closer!

Guac - AWESOME!!!
You have to be feeling just on top of the world being securely in a new dress size!! very good, no GREAT, news!

Annie - I've heard about those DVDs. Might be something I should look into because one of these days old man winter is gonna come blowing through. (Last February he literally blew in the window in my sewing room! Right out of the frame! Scared the bejeeeezus out of me!)

Annie - eeeeew, melty room temp cake.... who needs that!

Haggis - for not stress eating cuz it sure seems like you've got some pressure to deal with! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're closing goes smoothly.

As for me, I didn't go over my calories but did indulge in sugar free rock star energy drink. And I didn't exercise. Tomorrow is another day. And someday I'll get to Onederland!

Hi folks. I biked 120 minutes (drop off/pick up kids at camp; doctor's appointment across town) and ate at Subway twice! I'm over my calories by 15% but am in a large deficit with cals because of biking. I am trying to avoid days like this because I seem to plateau. I'm trying to eat frequently throughout the day and not over exercise. So, I think today's not a success for that goal. I'll fear the scale on Sunday. Last Sunday was TOM. Clothes are all fitting loser but measurements are not budging much. Body looks thinner. Getting lots of comments of "hello skinny minny" and such like. We'll see.

Hey all!

Guac-That's awesome news on the new size!!! Congrats!

Ashley-You've done well avoiding that cake. My willpower hasn't been the best lately. I think alot of it is stress. Your trip is coming up fast now! Sounds like you deserve the break.

PP-Hope your day with your parents was fun! Where did you eat?

Realme-Good job staying within your calorie range.

Iara-Wow, lots of exercise for you! That's great! Don't you just love hearing the skinny minny comments?

I got a haircut/eyebrows after work today. Hairdresser's husband is a plumber, so I am going to call him tomorrow morning. He gives free estimates, so if he can come tomorrow or Friday, I will cancel the one I have coming on Friday afternoon ($89 service fee just to come out). I have got to get this plumbing issue resolved. It did it again today when I got home. Disgusting.

I had leftover turkey smoked sausage I had sauteed with green/red peppers. We had sandwiches with it last night, but I just ate it as is for supper tonight with some fruit salad. Was doing great until I dug out the OLD ice cream in the freezer and had about 3/4 pint of chocolate.

I didn't get in all 5 miles of my DVD this morning, but did do 4 miles.

We got some rain overnight and it was so pleasant today and this evening. It is only 88 degrees here at 8:40 p.m. which is much cooler than it has been.

I just killed the hugest &($#()@ spider I've ever seen in a house! I swear it's eyes were glittering at me!! GAHHHHH!

I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight. Need to get some cleaning done tomorrow evening and I'm just tired tonight.

Hi all!

Still walking everyday & eating healthy, but last night I baked for my daughter. She wanted cookies, made her Snickerdoodles. I was eating them while I was baking them, must have had 20 of them. Then made a pudding cake for hubby, ate 3 pieces. First time I ate any sweets in 10 days, just wasn't hungry for it. I blew it last night, already gained weight. Ate no sweets today, but was extra hungry cause I did yard work. So I went over my calorie limit eating good food.

Aug 10
B= 2 c milk vits
L= chicken, pasta, veggies with vodka/tom sauce {really good!]
D= salad, PBJ
S= peanuts + choc chips
S= apple.
E= 45 min cardio weights

Guac, great job on the weightloss AND the new size!

RealMe, sewing room??? I'm interested! What kinds of things do you make. I quilted for years but lost interest over the past year. I'm knitting more now, but I did break out the machine {for the first time in over a year} {long story} today and do some mending as well as make a case to keep some knitting needles in. Leslie has some good compilation DVD's of her older workouts at Target/Walmart.

Iaranda, strange that your clothes fit better but no change in measurements. Weightloss can be so frusterating!

Annie, we ate at a Italian place called Old Venice {not sure if its a chain or not}. I've been interested in vodka sauce since I saw a jar in the store but Hubby has issues with vodka. When he joined the Navy his buddies had a party and they got REALLY drunk on vodka so he won't touch the stuff, even in pasta sauce! But I tried it at the resturant and it was good but a tad spicy for me, I gave Hubby the leftovers and he liked it I read that Leslie is coming out with a 5 Fast Miles DVD in the autumn which will be avaliable at Walmart.

FL, baking gets me every time too! Good job on the yardwork and eating good food today.

Hi everyone,

Guac 0 congrats on the 2 lbs and the dress what a awesome feeling.

Annie - gross I hate spiders, hope the plumbing goes well tonight.

FL - way to go on not eating sweets for 10 days.

Doing well, just ate a 3/4 of a peice of whole grain toast with lower fat pb and less sugar jam, boy it was good and under 180 calories.
Walked this morning and cold is feeling better. My body feels amazing after detoxing and on day 4 of no binging. Day three is always so hard and I feel so drained so I often give in thinking I am hungry but I really am not. Hope to keep moving forward.
