PeanutsMom - I think you need someone to come during your sleep and just zap that little memory of your old scale... LOL Sorry it is playing tricks with your mind, still.

Petra - fingers crossed that you have successfully made it to bed with your calories intact!

I haven't weighed myself in 2 days. Tomorrow will be wake-up time (see my chat post re: some not-so-good eating).

Thanks Heidi - this was actually a good kick in the butt for me because I am MOTIVATED!!

And down to the 220s today - 229.6. I think having the GWF is helpful too because it's pushing me to be more active to meet my calorie burn target. So I know I'll be back to 226 soon and then on my way down from there.

Good luck, hope the scale isn't too bad this morning!

My goal this month is to get to 25 pound lost. That's 10% of my starting body weight for WW. I'm at 18 right now. May not seem very ambitious but I need to start somewhere.

yay petra and hi wizzie - I think getting to 10% is a great goal, that was huge for me! I'm using 10% goals as my primary focus, rather than specific amounts. Well, I am focused on getting to certain numbers, but knocking off that 10% feels like such a major accomplishment, but once that is reasonably achievable so it's the perfect short term goal IMO!

I got to bed with 1654 calories yesterday. I still call that a victory. I had to improvise with dinner but it worked out. My scale is starting to inch downward so I know if I continue to focus on this, it will eventually pay off.

still leaving the goal open - I know it's 226 at a minimum but I hope to hit that before the end of the month and then see how much time is left and what it might be realistic to challenge myself for.

I've only made my calorie goal two days this week. That's not very encouraging but when I got on my Wii today it said I had lost 3.3 lbs! That came as a shock.

congrats on the loss!!! Are you eyeballing portions or weighing and measuring? But sounds like the amount you ate this week is the right amount!

I'm moving the wrong way! Up 0.8 lbs this week, probably because my thighs are seeing results from squats. Not bad, though, for having been on vacation for 3 days. Can we say "Melting Pot Restaurant" and "Wolfie's Deli"? YUM!

My goal for March would be to try to break below 210, hopefully sooner than later in the month.

I'm still struggling with the calorie goal. Not sure why this is so hard.

Petra sorry that the calorie goal is hard... But I guess it's a window into something new to learn about yourself. Hopefully you'll power through your sickness ASAP and then things will be easier... Here's to a continued loss!

Here, I have come to the realization that my thighs and hips still have a lot to give, so to speak. I don't really feel heavy anywhere else. So, this month I'm hoping to get below 160; I don't know if my original goal of 157 is going to be met, but I just need to break through 160; I've been here long enough!
