I saw 223.6 on the scale today - I think it was TOM whoosh because that was 1.8 down from yesterday. But that puts me at 9.6 for the month of March, which I'm obviously thrilled about.

But I'm not changing my ticker until Saturday though, to see if this sticks or if it was a one day fluke. I'm still really sick - went to the doctor this morning and came home with 4 Rx's so who knows what will happen with the scale.

9.6 lbs in one month is fantastic!! I don't think I've ever lost that much in a month. I'm thrilled that my scale is finally moving again. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Petra. I sort of don't expect it to stick - I think I'll be down, but not that far down, on Saturday. But that's ok - anything more than 5 lbs a month is a good month for me, and if it ends up being 8 or more, I'll still be really happy.

And I'm sure your fitbit is playing a part for you! Are you adding in any additional activity to hit specific targets? If you are like me, I found it easier to stay on track with food because I see just how many (or really, how few!) calories I burn, so I am very motivated to not eat any extra food and see that deficit slipping away.

sorry you didn't have a loss for the month, but really, with all you've dealt with, maintaining (and .2 counts as maintenance!) is really a great job!
