Yesterday I bought new sneakers and didn't want to do my usual pace on the treadmill, as my toes are sore from my old sneakers. So I did 35 mins on the exercise bike this morning and 35 mins on the bike again this afternoon. I also walked briskly with hubby for 45 mins in the morning. The new sneakers were SO much better than the old ones. It was a good walk, so I'm counting it today. No strolling this time. Oh... and 6 mins of stepping. So that makes 121 mins for me today.

Hi all! I don't have time to roam around the board but just wanted to post here... WOW, over 8K!!!!! 9K will be 150 hours of exercise -- maybe we can get there in a few days?
I was at a conference the past few days and was able to get walking in as my hotel was a ways from the conference hotel (would hav ebeen abig negative in the past). I'm figuring conservatively 55 minutes over the past 2 days (that's the time I spent at a faster clip), so...
I did this new DVD I got called the Woman Power Workout which is actually really long, but very cool. It was a little tough in spots because it is very dance based, but I am sure I will get the moves if I work at it. There were a couple of the stretch poses I couldn't do either because they involve standing on one leg, but I just modified them so I still got the benefit. The workout is 70 minutes, which brings my total to 657.
Add 40 mins for me, Ammi sent me a dvd, SALCASERCISE, I did that and both upper and lower body toning! I have to as I've gained 2lbs!!!! BUT I really did enjoy ithe dvd. GROUP TOTAL 8460+40=8500 WE WILL get to 9k!!! xxsharon
I've been so bad this month--and I started out with a bang too. My work out buddy hasn't been calling me and I haven't been making myself go to the gym because of it. I know--I know--EXCUSES! Anyway, I'm restarting today so I can add my time in later on. I also don't know if this will count towards it, but yesterday I totally cleaned my house--we're talking 2 - 3 hours of scrubbing bathrooms, mopping floors, moving refrigerators and stoves, etc. I was HOT when I finished, but that's all I can add for the month. I'll definitely do February's goals, but I've totally killed January.
