WANNASKIPANDLAUGH - aw hun .. you still down so dont stress .. as it seems to be the alternating weeks .. maybe you should weigh in fortnightly :) Just make sure you get the woosh week :) I think this week will be the week I add on again .. was expecting it last week .. but then last week I still tried to stick near the better plan ... but I have gone off a bit this week .. so Im bracing myself and just going to try to behave for the next 3 days before weigh in.
MARA - Hey .. they positive of being stuck .. you arent going up :) Thanks. I have been asked if Im getting nervous .. but no .. Im getting excited lol .. a part of me wants it to be next week .. but I still have weight to lose so Im happy its still 2 months away lol. TIME4ME2CHANGE - No prob hun .. I did mean to suggest if you dont want to post then just keep a note of them .. believe me .. they do make a difference when you start to lose the weight and then reach a plateau. I did mine at the beginning .. but discovered I was measuring the wrong points (when I went in to get professionally measured for my wedding dress .. talk about an uncomfortable experience!) so mine went up for the second measure .. so Im hoping something positive for the 3rd lol .. I use Calorie Count ... its a good one to put my food in each day to keep me conscious of what I am putting in. This week I have had a day or two with bad intake ... but Im aware of it now and trying to continue with the good choices. Again for me some of them I am having to approximate cos its a US site and Im in NZ so some of the foods arent right lol .. but I do try to look for the closest .. and I can also "create" foods so I can put the info on the packaging in .. or create recipes with what I have used in making a meal (like a stir fry) and it gives a good guideline for the meal. It also keeps track of my weight and activity that I put in :) Im sure you will do great .. and dont forget to take a pic of yourself! You dont have to post it :) just so you know .. Im really proud of you for posting your weight ... good on you for taking the steering wheel in your life instead of leaving your weight to run it for you :) :D:D:D:D:D So Im getting excited and nervous about my measure tomorrow ... I know I have lost a lot .. but really .. other than my waist .. I can't see where its gone from .. so will brave the photos again and post this months "change" .. maybe when I get the first and then this one together I will see it for myself instead of posting and having to get told the changes lol .. Oh .. something else I discovered for me on this journey .. the days I dont drink at least the 8 glasses (2litres) of water ... I feel icky, I feel tired .. and I feel hungry! So Im keeping better track of it again now .. cant afford to go off the rails this close to the wedding :) Have a great day everyone .. its a good week :) Hopefully we have some more weigh ins coming in soon too :) |

I will definitely be taking a 'before' pictures, and I'd like to post it once I have my first 'progress' picture...although the picture in my avatar is me 2 years ago and essentially the same size.... give or take 10 poudns that seems to shift positions on my body. I have my next measurement scheduled for October 20, as I took the initial ones on Sept. 20.... I am enjoying tracking my calories, it's nice to be well under what the website tells me I can have and still feel full... and I can also track exercise and it tells me "If everyday was like today in 5 weeks you would weigh....) kind of neat. I am on a week vacation now and headed to a hotel tomorrow to hang out and read (no work for the next 3 days at least... might do some when I come back to my apartment) I hope your next measurement session goes well! And I am enjoying reading about all of your wedding progress :) :) |

Hi, I am done pouting about loosing my post Thursday...and am back!:comp:
I have been trying to get ready for the coming months...getting cold here. Dug out my sweaters...need to do yard work but it has been so darn windy I haven't been able to tackle that yet. This coming week has 4 days of business lunches....YIKES. :yikes: My plan is to do the best I can each day. Luckily I like salad! :hungry: Katt, I see a overall difference in your pictures....well, maybe not your toes.:) |

I had a really good week, by Friday I had dropped down to 69.6 kg!
Then I went and bought a delicious katsu chicken bento and sparkling wine, and garlic bread... it was awful. THEN saturday morning, I knew it would be awful but not this awful. I went from 69.6 to 72.4 D: So I went for a 40 min walk/run and then walked my dog afterwards for an additional hour in an attempt to try turn back the clock a day before my weigh in! haha So after all of that, this is where I am *sigh* START Sunday September 22 - 72.5 kg September 29 - 70.5 kg October 6 - October 13 - 70.3 October 20 - October 27 - November 3 - November 10 - November 17 - November 24 - December 1 - December 8 - December 15 - December 22 - |

I would totally be into joining your Christmas card exchange. One of my favorite things about the Holidays is going to the mailbox and getting cards! Please let me know how I can join :) Well, I fell off the diet the last couple of weeks, I did great in August and September lost almost 15 pounds, but been bad the last couple of weeks and gained back 4 but I am back on and recommitted. I haven't really said much throughout this process, but I have read everyone's posts and they have been great to read. Nightkatt I definatly see a difference in your pics:cp: I use an app called Body Compare and it is great for taking pics each month and seeing the difference. I must say that when I really started to be more aware of what I was eating and started to really focus on losing weight I was doing awesome. Lately I have been going back to old ways and it is frustrating. I ate Chinese food twice this week and it is Thanksgiving too!!! I am also going over calories each day:(. I need to get back on track and thought if I say it out loud to you all then I will have to be accountable to someone!! Tomorrow I am refocusing fully:). When I weigh in tomorrow and post it I know it will be a gain, but that is okay. Anyway, enough rambling. |
