Happy Tuesday All,
Yes, my favorite day of the week.

Cake- Now don't let that scale discourage you. Maybe take some measurements cause sometimes you lose inches even when the scale stays the same or even says you've gained.

Honey- Now wait a minute, I thought I had the best husband in the world. LOL!!! O.K. I guess there could be more than one nice guy in the world.
Hey CONGRATULATIONS on the approximately 3 lbs.

Ronnie- That's fantastic about your blood sugar levels. It's great to see a little light at the end of that tunnel isn't it?

Lynn- How did that me time go. I'm sure you enjoyed it to the fullest.

Well despite my horrible time with allergies I have remained POP. Got about 30 minutes of walking in then stayed inside the rest of the day to avoid the pollen. You should see how badly it coats our cars. My white Jeep is light green right now, yuck!
Today I have nothing planned except me time with the Wii Fit Plus. Gotta get my boxing in and maybe some step aerobics.

That's it girls, have a tee-riffic tuesday. Make every moment count!

Learn: My me time was absolutely great.

my positive action for the day was I spent time with the hubby talking about purchasing him a tablet.
I also tried something new today Dannons Greek Yogurt with blueberries. It was fabulous.

Postive thought for the day: Trying something new may surprise if you let it.

I am totally sleep deprived today. I need a nap, but I exercised anyway!

Learn- Glad to hear you had some me time too! Sorry about the pollen. It gets like that around here in April and May and we actually have to get a mowing service for our lawn because I can't handle cut grass at all. We keep our windows nice and sealed up all summer. Thank goodness for air conditioning! You're right, I actually joined Lynnie's measurements thread. Already shocked at the numbers because they don't seem to fit in with my mental image of myself, but hey, it works for me.

Lynnie- I agree whole-heartedly about trying new things especially now. Food wise, I was such a fussy eater for so long, only eating bad foods that now my taste buds have changed. I don't really care for sweets as much and I'm finding I like a some spicy foods now and things like asparagus! I used to treat lettuce as a conveyance for dressing, but now I could skip the dressing because lettuce tastes so different to me now. Especially leafy blends. Then of course there's trying new physical things that I couldn't do before. Its amazing how much more of the world is open to me now, parts I never realized I was missing. Speaking of, how was the Greek yogurt? I have always loved yogurt and I hadn't heard of Greek yogurt until maybe a year ago and just haven't tried it. What's it like?

My positive is that it is Fat Tuesday and for my indulgence I didn't turn to food at all! My former brother-in-law was a southerner and he was very big on Mardi Gras and king cakes. Well, no king cake here. I did however get an awesome promo for my favorite nail polish. The company did a one day/while supplies last sale on their newest collection of polishes for $25 and free shipping. Normally these 6 bottles plus shipping would have run $56. It was an amazing deal and they're already being packed up to ship out. I know that might sound like a crazy waste of money for nail polish BUT when I started my journey I also quit biting my nails. I was a nail biter from the womb, a very nervous jumpy kid, and I think I finally got it through my head that I'm safe now. So while I don't bite them, my nails are thin and brittle so I keep them polished all the time and frankly I get bored quickly with the same color for days on end. My daily mani is my 'me time' and I'm lucky that mu hubby fully supports my nail polish habit. He's says it is more compact that my shoe habit so nail polish all the way!
Also, my hubby got me a new headset and we are picking up a Ventrillo server for WoW next week. This should help a bit since he is up in the office and I am in the living room and now we won't be screaming across the house to each other if we are doing something in game. It's fairly cheap so why not.
I paid some bills this morning and that's about it. I'm really tired and trying to stay awake but I just want like a 1 hr nap. I'm going to get a move on, see if I can muster up some energy somewhere. Take care everyone!

Good Evening Ladies...

I need some advice from you ladies..Since last friday my eating has been horrific to say the least but at least I have kept up with the exercising and today was gonna be my first day being back to being POP well everything went good in the beginning I worked out first thing this morning and then had an oatmeal to go and 4 glasses of water but then after that for some reason I just wanted to snack I dont know what is going on I think it is the transition of going from working to being back to being home all day while looking for another job so I need some advice on how I can keep my mind off of wanting to eat when I am home?

Other than that things are going ok working on revamping my resume and looking and applying for jobs and on the days that my husband works I go over to my parents and help my stepdad with doing stocks ( long story) and I use to go on days my husband was home too but because of the price of gas I am currently staying home on the days that my husband has the day off and taking care of cleaning, laundry, etc so right now it is about 3 days that my husband has off so on those days I need to know some advice about how to keep my mind off of wanting to eat if you ladies wouldn't mind giving me some advice.

I will check back in later with you ladies going to get ready to watch biggest loser

Heather- You might have had the urge to snack because you have been off plan for a few. Sometimes 1 day is enough to swing me out of sync. Kind of like that whole thing where if you stop eating sweets all together you crave them less, but one bite and all of a sudden your sweet tooth goes crazy and you can't seem to get enough sugar.
As far as keeping busy do you have any hobbies? I craft to keep my hands busy or play video games. There's always volunteer work. You could do it local like cleaning up the neighborhood or something maybe? Just an idea.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I had a POP day yesterday eating and moving. Scale has inched up some due to TOM lurking his ugly head around the corner. No worries he'll be gone soon enough and I'm hoping for a whoosh when he leaves.

Heather- Sounds like your adjusting to not having a place to go each day. Just keep reminding yourself how far you've come and stay busy.

Jamie- I hope you allowed yourself to take a nap. It's harder for sleep deprived people to lose weight you know. Rest my friend, rest!

Lynn- I'll have to check out the carb counts on the Dannon Greek yogurt and see if it's something I can include in my eating regime. Always looking for new things to try so the eating doesn't get boring.

Well I'm done here, hope everyone has a POP wednesday.

Cakegirl: I didn't know I was going to like it so much but the Greek yogurt is really different then regular yogurt. The blueberries made it taste even better. Give it a try and let me know if you like it or not.

Learn: If you can have it let me know if you like or not. I really enjoyed it but everybody has different taste.

Learn - No I didn't get a nap. I was up until 7:30 this morning. I didn't know that sleep deprivation messes with weight loss, but that makes sense I guess. Bad for me though since my sleep in always being messed with. I'm a super light sleeper and because we have rude inconsiderate people living above us I am constantly being woken up by them. Also I tend not to sleep well if at all when I am stressed, and I am always stressed out. I got 8 hours last night though. I'm sorry about TOM's visit. Girldom... ick.

Lynnie- I think I will give it a shot on the next grocery run perhaps instead of the usual cottage cheese. Getting kind of sick of cottage cheese at the moment. Nice positives for today too!

Ona- COngrats on hitting your second goal! Next stop- Onederland!

Susan- You are so upbeat! Every time you post you make me smile, so thank you for that. I needed a giggle today.

Positive- Feeling pretty good today considering. Haven't had a migraine all week. *knock on wood* I'm having a lazy day today so I think I'm going to go for a mile walk to counter my lack of desire to do anything but sleep. Maybe then do a puzzle or something. I probably won't be around tomorrow because I have to watch my nephew. See you all Friday.

Good morning gals!
I am being blessed with the sounds of rain hitting the roof. Oh how I love that sound. Yes we are getting some much needed rain. Mother Nature is washing the pollen out of the trees and the air. Let me get to what's important here on the POSITIVE thread, you gals!

Ona- I am so proud of you. You are a true inspiration. If the POSITIVE thread had a poster, you would be our poster child or should I say poster adult.
CONGRATULATIONS on reaching a very huge goal. YOU ROCK!

Lee- Again I want to welcome you to the POSITIVE thread. Look out girl, you asked for friends. well your gonna get them now. I can already see them lining up. Me first, me first!!! Oh and if you ever have any questions or concerns, just ask.

Lynn- I am planing a trip to Walmart and Dannon Greek yogurt is on my list to check it out. Thank you for the recommendation.

Cake- Glad the migrains have left you alone for a while. Enjoy your day with your nephew.

Susan- Always here for a cheer when someone does good. That's our Zumba Queen. How have you been GF, I miss you.

Shannon- Miss you also! How have you been? Is 40 still treating you well? And how is Diva Lily doing?

I had a POP day yesterday. Even got some extra walking in at my son's school. I had a yearly parent teacher conference and of course I have to sign in at the office and they send me to the wrong classroom on the other side of the campus. So I got to walk the campus twice and do the stairs twice. All in all a good conference. All 6 of my son's teachers stated the same thing, "If all my students were like Andrew teaching would be a breeze." Yes I have an awesome youngman.
Although my eating has been spot on my scale is still sticking. That b*****d TOM is still controlling the scale right now. Not gonna let it sway me from what's important.
O.K. gals it's time for me to bid farewell for now. I want everyone to go out there today and have an awesome POP day. Remember why we come here everyday.
