Good Morning, good morning - Oh Learn - you always manage to get a song going in my head - will be there all day. Sounds like you got a good amount of work done in the yard. I'm not a yard person - lol - I'm the 'pointer outer' of things to be done. Yes, as a matter of fact - I did get a big closet cleaned out yesterday - I call it my junque closet - like a junque drawer. But the bad news - I found 1 1/2# of my aunt's famous peanut brittle and a king size Hershey's with almonds bar................The good news - I handed them over to DH, told him to put them where I won't see them. Close call let me tell you.

Ags..........good for you another 1.8# gone............now - how about b-i-l? Did he show? Cannot believe that you made another batch of banana pudding and got it out the door again without indulging. Now - that is restraint. You are on a roll lady.

Misty ...........that's a cute outfit for your puppy.. She doesn't try shaking the boots off? She looks like she's proud of having her picture taken. You still out there walking?

J........OMGoodness...........food bug-boos........I'm the same way - I have had food poisoning and I never ever want to go through that again. Since then - I've become the food police........My fridge is never overrun with leftovers - it goes straight to the freezer if not in the garbage. My favorite motto - and the family just rolls their eyes.....'when in doubt - throw it out'. So - yeah - I understand where you are coming from - just smelling something - lol - makes me think it's probably bad. Sounds like you're not a milk person either - I also think it always smells 'wrong'.......

Heather.....good luck with your weigh in on Saturday. The way you've been staying on plan, you are going to have a good number. You have done so well - even when you overdo a bit - you get right back on track. That's the only way this is going to work for us. Keep it up.

Positives............I'm still POP..........since it's snowing and yucky out there today - I'm staying in and attacking another closet........Now - I know there are no goodies in there - it's the guest room. Hate when my closets get that stuffed to the gills look...........just need to get them straightened up - get a few things together for goodwill...........told hubby I'm going to leave the doors open - so I can admire all my work.

Stay warm everyone.......it's still snowing here..........looks beautiful in the fields - but - the roads are getting icy...........

Linda

Howdy cowgirls,

It is another day on the ranch, I may just take a talk down to the oaky corral!! Positive number ONE!!!! Positive number TWO, the storm must have missed us, just windy windy winds, and I can live with that!!! Positive number Three, thanks to all of you for the big time congrats, sure made me smile!!!!

Misty,
do not make the cookies, leave the cookies alone, that is an order!!! Did that help???? LOL LOL
Even though you were misguided yesterday, today is a brand new day, seize the day baby girl!!!! Because I know you can do it!!!! Be strong!!! Okay that was my PEP talk, hope it helps, it better!!!!
Now I have absolutely no idea what the rest of your post was about. Maybe it was something special for a special someone cause I was lost. Didn't understand the positive either, the last one at the bottom. Maybe that was something for the monthly chat cause I kept looking for the positive. LOL LOL Am I just behind the times. LOL LOL

Learn,
your endorsement has swayed me. I am getting the Garden Hopper!!! Wow!!!! Your golden child is seriously growning up and fast!!! He will be wonderful in High School just like he always is. No doubts there, good up bringing you know. Oh my, Learn is going back to HS, get out those saddle oxfords. hahahahaha

CJ,
I want to come to the Keys too. Such a relaxed way of life, I could surely get use to that!!!

Heather,
WTG Girl!!!! I think you just might hit that mark kiddo!!!

Linda,
you did great on outting that candy, out of sight out of mind, seems to work for me.
B-I-L did okay, he lost 1.4, but not good enough, I squashed him this week. Last week he got me by 2oz and this week I got him by 4 oz. Doubled, oh yeah!!!! I gotta stop, don't wanna get to full of myself!!! LOL LOL
Linda, I must say, you are one cleaning machine this week, hey I gotta closet that really needs some love and tenderness, are you free. I can assure you there is no candy in there. Burn those calories baby, burn!!!! I would leave the doors open too.

Chickies, I am flying the coop.
Hugs love and blessings, and remember to make every moment count,
Ags

@Ags Oh yea, sorry. World of WArcraft aka WoW is a videogame i play and the character level cap (max levels you can get) is 85 and I am just ONE level away from that cap. It's an interactive video game with millions of other people playing on there too. Anyways, my friends on there keep wanting me to level to the cap and now that I have leveled I'm happy and can tell my friends to bugger off about that leveling. Make any more sense? And no, Molly does not shake the shoes off and she "helps" me put on clothes. She likes getting dressed up. As for her looking proud for the picture, I just said "Treat" to get her attention. Always makes for good photos.

Misty,
now I understand, it is a game, and you did reach the next level. Ok. Do they post on this thread too? Or was that Cake you were telling about it?
Molly does look like she loves the camera, now that is what I call a Ham. And she is not ugly one bit, quite cute as a matter of fact.
If you get the chance check out the Inspiring Post thread, that one on Freedom is awesome.
Gotta go, cooking dinner for the family. It's a going be an Italian night tonight. Now that was in my Italian speaking voice.

Chow Bella's,
Ags, in this case Agalina

I crack my own self up!!!

Ags- Congrats on the loss! Seven lbs in 2 weeks is a big chunk to say goodbye to! Keep it up chickie! I broke the rod in my closet from the sheer weight of all the clothing in there. It was crammed full at one point. When I worked at Avenue I would get 31% off everything, including clearance, so I ended up buying a lot of stuff I wouldn't have normally purchased for myself. You know, shirts with wonky patterns that I surprising liked on but hated on the hanger or dodgy material. Then they would have employee promos for 41-51% off selected items. The goal was to be walking models of their clothing. Its sad to have to get rid of so much of it, but I don't intend to ever be able to fit into it again! Mmm, pasta sounds so good about now. I think I have some whole wheat pasta in the cabinets... might have to make that for dinner.

Misty- My main is an 85 rogue but I've also got an 85 dk, an 83 prot pally, an 82 lock, an 81 druid and a bunch of lowbie alts. I play on Silver Hand... but no I do not rp. When my husband started playing he went where his friends played, and of course I followed my husband a few months later when I started. When I got sick a year ago I had to quit for about 9 months and really only got back into it when the xpac came out. I'm currently gearing for heroics and farming that stupid fox kit that just will not drop! I did get the rare grey camel mount though while flying over Uldum. That was pretty sweet. How are you liking cataclysm so far?

Learn- Okay, that is one of my favorite movies of all time. I used to watch it at my grandparents house when I was little and when my Grampa died I got the old VHS copy. I have since made my niece a huge fan too. She loves Donald O'Conner...she thinks "his eyes are dreamy". Kids. My oinking kitty also could not meow as a kitten. I wonder if there's a correlation there. She can meow softly now, or really belt it out if she tries, but you can see it takes her effort to do so. She could kind of hiss a little in lieu of meows, like only air was coming, no sound. Her oinking is kind of loud considering, but it truly is adorable. My other cat meows constantly. It sounds like she is saying mum. She hardly ever purrs and when she does its virtually silent and she is so fluffy you can't feel it really unless you're looking for it. Good luck going back your high school. I personally hate high school. There's 10 years difference between my sister and I, and to everyone besides me, we look exactly alike. I just don't see. Pretty much since kindergarten my teachers have called me Brandi. Drove me nuts. A few even called me Jody (my older brother) or Mindy (my cousin who also looks just like my sister and I). My nieces had the unfortunate pleasure of going to these same schools 10 years after me... they of course were called Jamie. My question is why haven't some of these teachers retired by now! That's what we all get for living within 10 blocks of where we grew up! Also, thank you for the warm air. We got it just in time to turn this storm from massive amount of snow to rain! WOOT!

Heather- Staying POP while eating out is awesome! It takes a lot of will power to make better food choices and not just say "heck with it, I'm getting a triple!" Good for you! I hope your weigh in goes well this weekend. You've been burning up those calories like mad this week!

Linda- Good for you for not giving in to the sweet call of chocolate. On the flip side, I love finding stuff when I clean. Like little presents that time forgot. Speaking of losing stuff in the 'junk closet', because growing up we had one of those too, I have a funny story about that but I'll stick that lower with my positives. You're right, I hate milk with a passion! As a kid, I was often left to my own for getting ready for school, and really the only breakfast I could make was cereal and milk and it always made me sick to my stomach. Milk just kind of sits like a rock in my tummy. I've tried going down to 1%, skim even and nothing helps. My brother needed soy formula as a baby and he also can't drink milk, but we aren't lactose intolerant either. We both can partake of other dairy/milk products. The problem with the smell though it all on me. I have an acute sense of smell. I can smell burning leaves maybe 30 minutes before the people with me can. I can smell grapes if we are driving around with the windows open. Its crazy, and it has its problems. Perfume as you can imagine gives me bad headaches if we pass someone who might have used to much. I can't really go into Yankee Candle without sensory overload. I think for me, milk just always smells spoiled. Maybe I can smell it turning before others can? I don't really know, but it always smells wrong. I'm thinking of trying soy milk though. I have no idea how it smells though... so here we go again with my quirks. How do you know if soy milk has gone bad? I am glad to know I'm not the only one with food/leftover issues. I'm sorry it's snowing. We had about an inch last night and now its torrential rain. Since its so warm though, most of that 70+ inches we go this winter has finally melted.

Ok, my positives.
I slept in so late today. I didn't get up until 3:30 this afternoon, but I really needed it. I was up until about 5am. I couldn't get comfy in bed, couldn't fall asleep, and at one point my second wind caught up with me and I'm surprised I fell asleep at all after that. I'm still under the weather and my head is killing me. The great part though is its pretty dark right now. I have a bad sensitivity to light and thus hate sunshine. I know, who hates sunshine, but I assure you sunshine causes me pain. I love when it rains, in fact rain might just be one of my favorite things ever. It's right up there with my kitties and shoes and the NEAQ. Nothing makes me cheerier than a rainy day. I call them gray days, and I <3 them. So I am having a wonderful gray day today! I might go sit on the porch in the rain for a bit, because I also love inclement weather... except that one time we drove up to NH and the rain turned into a tornado. That scared the daylights out of me. Tornados bad, rain good. Also, I was able to be POP yesterday even though I felt like I was constantly eating. I had a lot of high density food, veggies and salad and whatnot so even though I had food pretty much every 2 hours yesterday, I still ended up with 1235 for the day. I also had a great WoW day yesterday, I got to do some stuff in game with my hubby which was nice. I haven't really been playing lately. OH YEAH... another positive! I finished that afghan panel as planned. I ended up opening a sort of junk photobucket yesterday for uploading pics to the cross stitch forum I read and put some of the kitties and my cake work and even some of me (before weight pics from 1997-2009) on there. Maybe when I reach the post count minimum I will post some pics here too.

Ok, so the funny story. In the 80's at some point my brother took my to the mall shortly after Christmas to spend a few gift certificates. Lol, remember when they were paper and not refillable. I really wanted one of those hyper color shirts that everyone seemed to have, so we got one. I loved it, it was a blueish purple and turned pink when it got hot. I was so excited and showed my mom when I got home. She said, oh yeah, its like those headbands I got you for Christmas. I looked at her like she had 3 heads and politely told her she had gone batty. I got no headbands at all, let alone awesome hyper color ones! She got pretty angry with me, thinking I was lying. I ran and got my sister and told her what was going on, and she calmly told my mom that no, I didn't get headbands. She said that I did get them, they were in my stocking, to which I said no... I didn't get a stocking this year. My mom sat there seething for a good 2 minutes before this look came over her face. She jumped up and ran into our dining room, opened the closet and pulled out my Christmas stocking! She hid it there in out junk closet so I wouldn't find it and forgot about it. Lol. So I opened up my stocking and had a second holiday. My headbands rocked and matched my shirt perfectly and there were other goodies in there too. She felt so bad for not believing me, and even worse for forgetting my presents. I thought it was hysterical. That closet was like a black abyss. We had all our games in there, puzzles, my moms sewing and crochet stuff, along with pretty much everything else you can imagine. Puzzle and game pieces always went missing, we lost a cat in there once but quickly found her again. So yeah... I miss our junk closet, it gave us fun times.

Ok ladies, I have given you the daily text wall so I'm off for a bit. Got to get rid of this headache and maybe check in with my sister. She lives 10 houses down so its a nice little walk to get the blood moving a bit. I hope you all have a great afternoon and I will catch up with you later.

Good evening ladies...

Well, I had 5 POP Days and I just finished working out for 55 minutes doing my step aerobics workout that I created on EA Sports Active 2 and I burned 665 calories!!!

Marmalee..Thank You I have a good feeling that Sunday's weigh-in is gonna be a good one cause I have been strict this week and I have been working my butt off exercising and I have one more workout tomorrow night before I weigh in so wish me luck

Colormered...I hope that I get into the 270's that is all I am hoping for and it is really nice that I am doing this with my sister cause she is trying to lose weight too and even though she lives in texas and Im in michigan we are keeping each other accountable by telling each other every sunday how much we have lost/gained so it helps that I have to be accountable to somebody if I get off track and gain and I think that has helped too this week..we just started this week so I am off to a rocking start

Learn...the stuffed cabbage that I had for lunch yesterday was very good and I need to find a recipe and maybe make it but the only problem is my husband doesn't like it so I would be making it for just myself.

Well, ladies I am sitting here all sweaty ( I know you didn't want to know that LOL) so I am going to go and take a nice hot shower and get ready for bed and I will talk to you ladies soon

Take Care,
Heather

My positive for today is I ate a lot of veggies today. Oh, and the white animal molly's attacking is my ferret, Hannah Freya. They play like that all the time.

Good morning everyone!
I slept in this morning and now I'm running a bit late. It's funny you can eat dinner late yourself or even skip dinner all together, but don't you dare be late feeding the horses. It sounds like they're tearing the barn down out there. Oh and then theres my Peanut with her built in alarm clock. It's funny how a stareing dog (not whinning or barking) can wake you up.

I'll be back in a few!

O.K. I'm back, but quite obviously nobody missed me.
I'm gonna make this a short one today, got lots to do. My best friend and his wife are coming up to visit tomorrow and my house is a mess. They have 2 daughters that I promised them horsey rides and hot dogs on the grill. Plus I wanna finish my pruning of plants.

I wish everyone a great day filled with good food choice and plenty of activity.
