Default Your VICTORY of the Day!

I know we share those NSV's from time to time, but I thought a thread to acknowledge just those daily conquests might be nice. You decide.

Today mine was when the boss bought the office PIZZA for lunch, and filled the candy jar RIGHT next to my office door with bright M & M's of every type. I still ate the SALAD I'd brought in, walked past the jar without sampling a single M, and finished Day 3 on the Beach without caving in!

WHAT'S YOUR VICTORY OF THE DAY???

Last night my younger daughter and her boyfriend brought in a large pizza hut pizza. I wasnt even tempted!!!!

Terrific idea, Val. Here's mine from yesterday.
I went grocery shopping yesterday while being upset and sad.
I didn't get any candy like reese's cup and I passed the donuts and the sweet junk from the bakery that's on the reduced price display. For me, that's a nsv even on a good day, let alone being upset and depressed.

This is so cool! I love reading these!

Mine for today was my boss inviting me out for lunch with the consultant that's helping us this week... just as I was finishing my salad. I had to order something, so I went with a cup of soup. The real victory was that it was served with Really good crackers. I ate one before I realized what I was doing. But I chose to leave the rest alone.

Escaped the M&M temptation today, too

today my husband and grandpa ordered pizza and i skipped out to subway.

also made it to the gym even though i only had 45 minutes there b/c they were closing at 2 pm. i could have easily just said forget about it.

Weird as it sounds - changing my ticker was a not pleasant but required task for me - it is bittersweet - I much prefer to move it down - but it will only go down from here.

gggirl - I was wondering how you get the ticker on your thread. I would love to add that to mine.

I just started my diet this past Monday and feel better about myself already. I weighed myself this morning and was pleased to have lost weight.

SW: 244.6
CW: 243.4
GW: 140

I also started working out today and work on getting my waters in. I'm a big ice tea drinker - decaf w/splenda.

O2Bthin -- You have to be around I think 30 days to get a ticker!

As for me, I went out for breakfast this morning and said no to eggs and bacon and hash browns and pancakes. I had steel-cut oats and half a grapefruit!

RN - WTG on giving that workout the time that you could!
GGGIRLS - The only thing harder than starting, is Starting Over. It takes courage every time, but it's ABsolutely necessary. I think ya have to choose a starting place before you can control direction. Bravo.

Just making it thru the day without succumbing to the M&M temptation was a Victory today. The stupid jar is right at my office door and I can hear everyone rattling it all stressful day long.

Valarie- when you hear the jar rattle just think of the empty calories they are eating..and how proud you are of yourself for not eating them!!

My NSV was making myself do a workout video after cutting out fabric for 7 hours straight.
