I`m sensing a theme here. I went grocery shopping today and did not buy *any* binge food. This is a big one for me.

This one is beyond cool!

Yesterday I went to Avenue with DD, she needed new work pants.
They had a sale on cotton undies - about $6.00 each.
I have a lot of size 26-28 that I still wear. They are too big, but don't have holes, and I'm trying to wear them out.
When I started losing, I bought several pairs of 22-24s. They were like a reward, and a few months ago I put them into the rotation.
So I bought some 18-20s as an incentive - I figured they'd fit in about 10 lbs.
I washed them, and last night, as I was putting them away, I decided to try them on just to see how close I was.
GUESS WHAT I"M WEARING TODAY!
Yippyskippy!

I am on track to have a GREAT on plan day. Not only are my calories on track, but I've exercised, I've had lots of protein, and ALSO had lots of fruits and veggies. Moreover, I've enjoyed all the food!

I've got my acorn squash in the oven and I know I won't blow it now!No

My victory today is keeping within my WW points though I'm in a munchy mood.

Sue - congrats on your victory. It is so exciting when you can get into clothes that you thought still wouldn't fit you. Way to go and keep up the good work.

Sue's wearing little bitty undies!! Go girl! Very cool!
Heather, acorn squash to me means brown sugar and lotsa butter. I bet you do it OP-er.
SANDY, O2B & Domestic - I KNOW how hard it is to leave that stuff alone sometimes!
GET THEE BEHIND ME, O REESE CUPS! - And NO, I don't mean on my buns!

Well, I'm still a chocolate virgin for 2009. The raging cold & flu germs that have been infecting EVERYONE in my department were again standing guard over the M&Ms.

I'm having a weak moment though: I've just been offered a PERfect horse.... named Hershey. If he follows me home can I keep him? As long as I promise not to eat him, of course! LOL!

Totally op today!! Even after I reduced my caloric intake by 50 calories.
I made an amazing pot of goolosh tonight. I put tons of fresh carrots, celery, onion, garlic, cabbage, canned tomatoes, lean ground beef, whole wheat rotoni, pepper, no salt cavangers seasoning and italian seasoning. It was wonderful. And, I'm full, but not stuffed. Also got my water almost all in. But will have it all in by bedtime.
Finally, a good day, both food wise and activity wise too.

Today I had a small arguement with my husband, not anything big just one of those life things, you know just a small misunderstanding and then somehow it kinda of snowballs. We've been married almost 18 years and have three teenagers so sometimes daily survival is just a challenge (for those of you who have experienced the teen years you know what I mean).
Anyway, this happened right before dinner and I fixed everyone's plate, including my own, and sat down at the table. After prayer, I just stared at it. For a few moments I couldn't even think, my mind was just blank. Then I saw, really saw the plate in front of me. I had piled it high, twice as much as everyone else. Why? Because I was hurt and was looking for the food to take that hurt away. Just like I always have, looking for food to smooth over my emotions. And then this wonderful thing happened, I just couldn't do it, I didn't want to do it. The price for that moment of comfort from food just wasn't worth it. So I went back to work, finished up, and then came home, fixed a new plate and just ate dinner.
I've never been able to do that, ever. And it felt good, really good just to be free.

Val, this thread was a great idea!

I've had two days OP, walked a mile with my son yesterday and, my biggest accomplishment, I got on my elliptical today and did 20 minutes! I thought I'd poop out after 5 or 10 since I haven't set foot on the thing in 6 months!

Wow, great thread!!!!

Still on plan - Val, the acorn squash had a LITTLE brown sugar and butter and maple syrup, but not much!

And a horse named Hershey sounds like he might be ON plan!

I had many mini victories today- first I weighed in and I've lost 15 lbs! YAY! I got outta the 300's I'm now 291. And I went through my cupboards and fridge and threw out or gave away all my bad food! I hate wasting food so this one was hard for me! and.... I exercised for 25 mins even though I REALLY didn't want too! because it's "that time of the month" and I felt all crampy and just didn't feel like it but I did it anyways! I've also resisted eating anything sugary which has been hard too!

But i drew the line on saturday night and made a clean start.

Im back at 311 lbs.......still less than i started.....but still a big way to go....and this time nothing is getting in my way

Today's victory was getting up early enough to get in 20 minutes on the elliptical and drink a whole bottle of water and eat a healthy breakfast before work! Just getting up some mornings is victory enough!

I also exercised this morning, which has NOT been my habit in the past. I'm hoping to do that a couple of times a week this term.

I also walked up the stairs to my 5th floor meeting, even though I really didn't want to!
