Oh my goodness you guys! Thanks so much for the lovely compliments. You make me smile. lol.

I had a great meeting with the Voc Rehab lady. Together we decided on Personal Trainer School. I am so excited. I think I will start on 9-22. They will be paying for my class, books, First Aid/CPR, Lifesaving (so I can do water training too), and she offered to pay for 10 sessions for me with a therapist of my choice because my Dr. recommended it in her letter. I am so excited and blessed to have this opportunity. I will know for sure about it more on next Tuesday at 12:00. That is when we finalize everything and she tells me if it is a go or not. She seems pretty optimistic on it being a go. I am trying to not get too excited but, I really am so excited. lol.

In the mean time, I start the job for Netflix tomorrow am at 6 so I need to do a few things to prepare for that. I also have a fasting blood test tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

I hope you are all doing wonderfully well. I feel so lucky and blessed I can't even say.

Hugs and blessings to you all,
Annie

Annie- I have to add too, you are beautiful!!! Way to go on the trainer position, You will be awesome. I wish I lived closer as I am thinking of getting a trainer. I went and checked out equipment at the Y and had a trainer show me how to use them. So that was exciting. Now I just have to make the time and go!! I talked to them so maybe in a couple of weeks when things slow down here I will be able to get one. YEAH! again.

Bernice- sorry to hear classroom HOT!

Going to lose-I got my new license today, I love the picture. I compared it to a few other IDs that I have had done since the first of the year and I am very happy with it! Sorry you didn't like your pic.

Debbie54-I hope your pic on your license turns out good, you have lost weight so it will change! How about the treadmill today??

Tonilight-good job on the walking!

Cassie-How did your day go?

azcyn-can you do dvds/videos when it is too hot outside?

dgramie-how were calories today?

catherine-how is school going?

Hello Lurkers!!!

Today was a good day. I took daughters stuff to school that she left home. Then I went to Y in town and checked out how to use some of the equipment and it was really cool. I have a chart now to record my activity! Now I just have to fill it up!! I learned some moves that probably would have been hard the first of the year, but I was impressed that I could do some! Not much water in today, that is not good. I have to work tomorrow so I know I will get it all in then. It is 6-6 so plenty of time for water!
RANT! GRR I took young daughter to tumbling tonight at normal time and when we got there they told us that the time had changed and we should have gotten a call or email. I said nope, neither one, so she only got 15 minutes of practice instead of an hour! GRRR I will have to call the owner as now I am not sure she will be able to do it this year. Daughter will be sad, but nothing I can do if there is no one around to take her! I will call tomorrow and also send an email and see what I find out. I drove 30 minutes for this lesson that is what irritates me. I could have done something with that energy!lol
Done ranting. I will go now as it is time to get little one to bed. Penny

Good Morning Peeps - how's everybody. It is very wet and soggy here in southwest Missouri - thanks to Gustav. I hope all are safe in the recent storms. Johnnie - are you drying out from Gustav yet? I should be able to run out of the rain on the drive home this afternoon.

Well I am sore from the workout on Tuesday so I guess my muscles are rebelling a bit. Pushing the water to help too. I can't wait until tonight to stretch them out again.

Annie - I'm with Penny - i wish you were closer - you will be a fantastic trainer. I will pray this comes through for your quickly. You are such an inspiration to me and no words can say how much it means to me - thank you.

Penny - have a great day at work and drink that water please.

Brenda - thank you for the kind words - I wish I could share the motivation I have right now. Not that I am planning to go away from healthy eating and binge - but I don't do good with pound type goals so I have set a goal of staying OP and exercise - basically taking care of me - until at least Thanksgiving. I love the feeling that gives me. I am not a fast releaser so if I end up lighter all the better.

So can someone tell me about this neti pot - what is it - how does it work - where do you find them. Sinus problems are not fun and seem to be finding me already this season.

Nancy and Battle - if you are lurking - HI - miss you both and hope you are well.

Hugs to all - move your bodies, drink your water (Penny) and SMILE.

Carol

I have used a neti pot ..but i usually just stick with spray saline solution. I will only use a neti pot if its bad..I have trouble putting things in my nose and flushing it with salt water...lol but they do work!!
I keep a bottle of saline on my dresser and spray morning and night. It seems to help alot. IN fact it seems to help as much as flonase or the other rx sprays.
We are getting a little rain here as well...and much cooler temps. Yesterday was so hot and humid the kids and i were miserable outside. I cant wait to be able to take them to the playground daily and just play outside and be comfortable.
Food was so easy yesterday hope it continues

Greetings all!

Annie, your new avatar is BEEEEEEEAAAUUUUUTiful

I was about to type that nothing was going on here, but then, I realized that was wrong. My work is restructuring my job and who I report to and it has me upset. I'm going to talk to the big boss today, but I don't think it's going to help matters. I'm still applying for those other jobs as soon as they are advertised (the one I was really excited about a couple weeks earlier). It's just taking awhile for the paperwork to go through.

Just writing about my work stuff here has me realizing why my eating is out of control and I'm lacking key motivation.

Hugs to all the school "kids" and teachers going back this September. Take time for yourself in your busy schedule!

Luv,
Ratkity

Hi again ladies!

For sinus problems, I have just found a saltwater/saline solution that works great - it drys me up and flushes everything out - it is sold at Walgreens and CVS

I have to tell you guys a funny story about my twin boys -- they are driving me CRAZY!!! They are 3.5 and thier personalities are really starting to come out

SOOO the boys are off to nap yesterday, and Tucker does something (who knows what) to Turner, and he got mad. Well, a few hours later, I hear a loud crash. I ran into the room and Tucker was on the floor HOG TIED with a cloth belt. Turner is under the blanket LAUGHING!

So, I untied Tucker and asked Turner "Why did you do this to your brother?" and he said "Maybe Tucker will learn to be nice to his brother"
Then I asked him why he didn't come up front when he woke up, he said "I wanted to see what would happen - and it was funny!"

OHHHHH these boys are gonna kill me

So, that was my exciting afternon yesterday. Tate (oldest DS) came home with a mountain of homework plus cub scouts at 6:00 - what a day!

to you all! Thanks for listening!

Summer

Hey Rat - been thinking of you - glad the cybervibes got through. Sorry about the work stress - hope it resolves itself soon.

Well I have surprised myself and did 3 miles tonight in addition to my circuit training. The exercise high is indescribable - glad I found it again.

Hugs to all,
Carol

Annie-You look younger too. Have you updated you Driver's license photo. After I lost a bunch of weight in my face, and had to show my ID for something, the policeman thought I had stolen the ID.

Class went okay. From the moment I step out the door in the morning until I come in the door is a solid 8 hours. It has been a very long time since I've done entire days like that. I'm still convinced the professor is 12 years old, but then so are my classmates. It's going to be a long semester with the kiddies. I hope I don't keep them up past their bed times.

Hi everyone
Had an OP day up until about 10pm tonight. I ate 2 100cal bars before I even knew what I was doing. I was making pickles and waiting for the pot to boil. Next thing I knew I was wiping chocolate off my face. Not sure what is wrong this week. Maybe its TOM? I need to get things under control!!

I passed my driver's license eye test with flying colors so I'm allowed on the roads again for another 5 years. My weight I had at 280 so I just left it there, and my face is thinner, but to me it didn't look like it, it's just what my hubby told me. How come no matter how much we lose, we still see the fat girl?

Carol, glad you're feeling the exercise hi again! Pass it over!!

I forgot who asked, but you can find the neti pots at walmart.

well, that's it for me. I'm headin' off to the shower.
toodles
Debbie
