Hey guys, I am doing this all backwards... This post is in reference to last weeks thread that I forgot to check Friday...

Bonnie Jean: I have done SBD and did very well with it. It did make me very tired, and it is so unpractical when you are at a restaurant especially breakfast. And I don't know what to make at lunch. I decided to adjust things a little. Its my SBD meets WW Diet. I can see how Phase one might make you ill. I know its probably obvious and right in front of my nose, but what is FSD? ok, I read down, so never mind.

Carol I am 29 too and feel the same. Beside, it feels better to be the youngest instead of the oldest!!

Lauren: Sorry about the pumpkin pie blizzard. I know I should keep such things to myself.

Molly: sorry to hear the show didn't go well ( what all do you do? (craft wise)

JennyMarie: yes, that is the best thing about SBD You do shed weight around the tummy quickest!!

Good Morning Everyone!

After making some reallly bad food choices for the last three days, I'm back to phase one of the FSD (just in case that's the Fat Smash Diet). But just for three days so I can get myself back on track. I think with the wonderful results I was having, I was getting a little cocky and eating stuff I shouldn't have been eating! But I feel that I've caught it before I've been making bad choices for a week. So that's a plus!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Take care,
Bonnie Jean

Weight loss is kind of like house keeping. If you stay on top of it, it takes a little work, but everything seems to stay together. BUT if you don't pay attention and ignore it, It piles up to monstrous proportions.

I'm not trying to have a deep thought here, I'm trying to clean out my sewing room that has become my junk room!!

Default Good news/bad news

This seems to be the theme of my posts lately. The good news? I got in 30+ min on my elliptical last night (4+ mi, 200+ calories!). The bad? I got on the scale this morning at the number was the same (why do I expect change so quickly?) and then I didn't have my act together for breakfast and got to my seminar this morning and had little powdered donuts and a hot chocolate - AAHHH! Wagon, I need the wagon!!! Somebody grab my hand and pull me back up!!

I know the only reason I got my exercise in was b/c I already had dinner cooked last night (just had to toss in oven). So that is a lesson learned. Will try to do more of that, but this week is so busy. I'm supposed to have a meeting tonight (can't decide if I am going to go), tomorrow night (no choice, but to go) and Thur night (should go). I was going to bag tonight b/c I didn't get a sitter, but then dh got off early to vote so now I "can" go. Just have to think on it. It will suck b/c it is at 6:30 - no time for exercise.

WannaB - love the housework/weightloss analogy. So the truth. Any hints on getting my house on a "diet" too? LOL

Mommy3spuds - Hang in there. I was just telling ds last night (after he admitted he got in trouble at school) that every day is a new day to make better choices. Hmmm...maybe I should stand in a corner tonight for the donuts.

Holyterror - definitely use your PTO. Ridiculous to force ourselves to work ourselves into the ground. I should take more time off, but I always feel like I am hoarding it for something. I told dh last night when some travel web site commercial was on talking about booking our vacation now to recover from the holidays that we should actually DO that! Not sure if I can get him on board. Maybe I'll just have to go alone!

Hi to everyone else. I have to get busy working on this ordinance change project. I was supposed to get the completely re-written version out to my committee today. Oops.

Later taters,

Christina

Hi all! I've been a busy girl these days and have not had a chance to check in since Fri. Thankfully this week's thread has not gone too crazy yet and I only had 2 pages to catch up.

Well, I am just exhausted these days! DH has been using one of those breathing machines at night for sleep apnea (recently diagnosed) and while the machine itself is virtually silent, HE is not! Sometimes when he rolls over it moves the line and then I hear the air escaping, then he wakes up to adjust it and that inturn wakes me up, so not much sleep going on here and NOT for the reasons that it should or could be! Each night it does get a little better, so we are both hopeful that soon we will feel rested again.

Thursday I have to take my 8yr old to the Orthodontist. Not sure what is going to happen there and not particularly looking forward to what the cost will be! UGH!

My brother stopped by for a quick visit over the weekend, that was great! I have not seen him in well over a year and it was really nice to catch up. He went up to our family hunting camp and was shocked to come across a bear and her baby. Luckily, they decided to turn around and leave him alone. We have not had bears in this corner of the world in many years, so he was very surprised!

RR~Yes, I am very motivated by Dr's OZ and Roizen, they are fantastic! I got my book on Monday (Ordered it on Wed last week, so it came FAST!!) and I just cannot wait to finish it! I went grocery shopping after seeing the show and was just stupified by the number of foods with High Fructose Corn Syrup and/or hydrogenated oils in them! Even Coffee creamer has the hydrogenated oil, can you believe that?? I told DH that he is going to just have to start putting milk in the coffee. You may want to check out the Discovery Health Channel website to see if they will be re-airing the You on a Diet program they ran on Friday. It was interesting and motivating to see the differences this plan made in the real lives of people, although I think that the Oprah show had better specific information. The DHC show focused on 4 individuals results.

Sorry this is so long and chatty, need to run now. Will catch up on the personal hello's next time. Until then to everyone!

Hi Ya!!! Sorry I have been MIA for a few days.....Sun and Mon I wasn't feeling well. But I'm better now! I lost 2.4lbs this past week! Go me!! Boy is losing weight hard! Congrats to the rest of yall who lost weight too, Keep up the good work!

Wanna: How is the SBD working for ya so far? Do you like it better than the weight watchers?BTW your daughter is beautiful!!

Mo3spuds: where in Fl are you? I am orignally for St.Lucie co. I like it better her in TN! There were no seasons to enjoy there. Everyone makes some bad food choices now and then, but you just keep going and try to make better ones the rest of the time!

Nail: Do you like your book so far? I saw Oz once on Oprah, He's very interesting.

Missouripie: Great job on getting the exercise in, I know it's hard, I have been doing a hour a nite, not to mention my curves workout 3 times a week.

Holyterror: How are you doing on the Jorge cruise diet? I am doing that combine with the Biggest Loser and that seem to work.

Everyone else....HI

Jenny: I have decided to stick with ww, and just cut out sugar, and cut back on the carbs as well. I just don't have it in me to stick with the SBD at this time.

Wanna: I'm sure you'll do great no matter what plan you follow! You've already come a long way.....Don't be too hard on yourself! Are you getting in plenty of water and exercise? Once I added in the extra exercising I saw more results on the scale! Just keep going! Your doing Great!!!

I'm here! lol Good job on the cardio Michelle!

Wanna, hi there! Super cute little girl!

I'm throwing out a hand and pulling up those who fell off the wagon with me. I'm back on and doing great so far today. It's amazing what going to a meeting will do. I so thought I could do it without meetings. I don't understand why I can't but I've accepted it and I'm fixing the problem. I'm so back on the wagon and totally motivated!
