meoc7197 - I've done Slim in 6...love Debbie Siebers. That workout program will keep you hopping!!

Well - I stepped on the scale this morning and told the jerk "I hate you." I'm doing all that I should and still...167.4. It's been inching up all week and I'm afraid I will let my BL Partner down tomorrow. This is week 4 of P90X, so I'm hoping to see some FAT BURN along with the MUSCLE BUILDING in the near future.

Hello all! I'm staying stable, which I will accept because I haven't been eating well the last few days. I've also added a few free weight exercises for my arms, I'd like to say its that, but I know it's the chex mix and the plate of nachos.

Netflix tells me that I will be receiving 30 Day Shred tomorrow. For those of you who have done this, is it something you replace your fitness plan with? Or can I just add it in on top of what I'm doing now (I'd hate to lose my momentum on my running and Zumba is social time for me on top of the cardio).

Keep chins up! (I'm holding the fat under my chin up right now wishing it would stay there) I'm thinking the season changes and worry about the holidays are going to start creeping stress levels up soon, as well as the cooking shows/magazines going from healthy grilling to sticky ooey gooey.

Hoping to get out of the 160's soon! Scale read 163.5, I've gone up in the last month and now I'm starting to go back down. Trying to cut out the binges while I'm studying has helped. Good luck everyone, we can do this!

So I got up at 5 am and did my DVD this am. It was so hard. Although it was 60 minutes I think I only got like 25 minutes of exercise done!!!

SERIOUSLY?!?

Up again today - 167.4 I workout 6 days a week and keep my calories to 1600-1800. P90X is freaking ruining me. I better be ONE RIPPED Mama.

Are you keeping track of measurements as well? Sometimes the results take longer on the scales then the body when exercising.

How do you like P90X. I am thinking that I may do it after I finish with Slim in 6.

Am I still allowed to post here even though I have jumped back into the 170's? Stupid, stupid beer! There are three sitting in my fridge and I refuse to touch them! And I did super good today and finally hit the gym too so I am really hoping to be back tomorrow. Haha.

I am officially back! And I cannot let myself go back into the 170's again! I don't know what happened this weekend - weekends are always the worst - but I promise to be good from now on.

JayLei -

meoc - I think that is the hardest, finding the motivation to keep going. I think part of the secret is just making it a part of your life, a routine, so you just kinda keep going automatically. Good luck!

Up again today.
I take my measurements on the 30th...here's to hoping I see some reaction THERE...SR. Scale esta estupido!!

meoc - I really like P90X, but it is VERY challenging. Most videos I can always at least complete the dang thing...with these, it's taken weeks to be able to do 2/3 of what is shown. It's exciting, daunting, challenging, and maddening all at once.

I'm a runner at heart - and after some knee and back issues this summer, decided to do P90X for 90 days to give my body a break from running. I would *like* to loose 15lbs in this 90 days so that I can start training for our city's Half Marathon on May 1, 2011. Either way, I'm running it - I know that after this program I will be a better runner no matter what I weigh.

I'm down another .2, I will take that gratefully and graciously .

I am sitting on my bed wearing a well fitting shirt that wouldn't go around my body three weeks ago (allbeit with pudgy untoned arms sticking out of the bottom of the sleeves).

My waist is 3.5" inches away from the 35" measurement for women to have serious concerns about chronic disease risk.

I no longer have any worries about entering my 40's obese (heck! as of a week ago, I'm just overweight!)

I have the tools I need in my head and on my computer.

I have the support I need right here in this forum.

I know in my heart that the hard decisions I made this past year were the right ones.

I think it's a pretty good day!

asparagus ~ don't promise to be good, just promise to be better. It's easier on yourself and more realistic. And I knew you'd recover quick, must have been those extra push-ups!

meoc ~ it sucks that the day to day doesn't always reflect the big picture, good job getting yourself to the boards and getting your brain moving even if you can't get your body there.

Morton ~ sorry to hear about your gain, but it has to be the intense workout you are doing. I am confident that your measurements will show results!

I have my 30 Day Shred video sitting on top of the tv... for some reason it scares me, but I am going to eat lunch, do my errands and then I am going to tackle that sucker so I have a little resting time before Zumba tonight.

Good reminders Jaylei - thanks!

Don't let 30 Day Shred scare you - it's only 28min long. ;o)
