Default another day.....

another try

today i had 3 pankcakes for breakfast with 2tbsp's of syrup. i know the cals for the pancakes, just haven't added in the syrup yet. *s*

later on we are having grilled chicken with french fries and rice. i am only going to have the chicken (probably without the skin), 1 cup of rice and NO french fries. LOL. (french fries are a weakness, btw). i am also going to eat lots of veggies.

i have work so i really have no time to eat a *real* lunch. i think i am just going to pack a yogurt and a nutri-grain bar into my purse in case i need a 'pick-me-up' during the day. yesterday i did okay - i worked from 12 till 7. i had a big breakfast and lasted until 6 without being hungry. so today should be fine.

i also decided to stop weighing myself so often. i am just going to limit myself to one weigh in per week. i picked Wednesday's as d-day. so ciao to my scale until then!

can't wait to hear some updates from ya'll!!!

well I ran a little over a mile yesterday and walked 2 and will be trying to double the running today. I may even do the taebo. I get bored with the same old thing so had to cut back my exercises until I find something new. That is one reason I have been trying to run more and more. Jasmine is still helping me out by playing by herself when I do my exercises and hubby is helping by watching her while going to the gym when I feel up to it so I am getting help from everyone. I am at 149 so have 9 to go. I will probably weigh in on friday of next week to see how I am doing. If all goes as scheduled, I will be down a couple of lbs but I am hoping there.

Hey everyone!

Well I've been doing really well on the water intake and I've exercised every day this week... but this weekend is going to be tough - my mom's sister is in town and I get to spend the weekend with my mom, my aunt, my mom's best friend, and my youngest sister is coming home from school for the weekend. So you know what that means... shopping and eating But, to make up for it I have been trying to eat extra well all week, so we'll see next week!

I'm down to 204, I hope to be 195 at the most at the end of this gobble-gobble challenge (I love typing gobble-gobble)!

Thanks for all the updates and motivation, Amaya!

Good luck everyone!

gobble-gobble! (can we just pretend he's a turkey instead of a chicken?)

Okay, I've got a challenge for Thanksgiving now - it's an exercise challenge and it starts today. There are 40 days until Thanksgiving day - I would like to get one dozen weight training days in by then (that's basically 2 per week, which is pretty much what I'm used to, or what I WAS used to). I would also like to track my "miles" on the treadmill (walking and I'm hoping to pick up running again in this time), elliptical, bike, etc. For activities that don't have a mileage to them, I will count each 30 mins. as one "mile." I'd like to accumulate 60 "miles" in the next 40 days. This may seem like a lot, but just attending my fitness classes every week, I accumulate over 8 "miles" per week. Another goal I will make is to try my absolute hardest not to have an off-lan day until I am in the 160s. That doesn't mean the second that the scale says 169.9 I'm going to go binge, but just provides an extra incentive to get there!

Gobble-Gobble Challenge Day 1:
So far: On plan, Kashi cereal w/milk, pear, & yogurt for breakfast. Working on my first liter of water. Did my upper body weights already (25 mins.) and played 75 mins. of tennis (and I won too!) Plus, I ended up walking to the store to buy stuff for the DH's birthday cake since I didn't have the car. So add in another 25 mins. of walking.

well I will do 3-5 miles of walking today and got in 3 miles of running and 2 of walking yesterday so I am proud of myself. That is the most I have ran in one day in years. I figure every other day of running will be good and then of course my walking on other days.

Well, like I said, my aunt and youngest sister are in town this week and we are eating good So, to make up for my splurge lunches I've had a salad for dinner (Fri and Sat). My only exercise today though was some shopping... Ann Taylor Outlets are having a great sale, by the way. But, to strengthen my motivation, I bought a skirt that looks okay now, but if I stick to this Gobble-Gobble challenge, it'll look great by then!

But I've got to say that I'm pretty proud of myself for the week, I definitely drank more water than ever before and I got exercise in 5 days. Now I just have to work on jogging on the days I do Pilates.

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend and that tomorrow I'm on here saying that I jogged at least 2 miles.

See you tomorrow!

great job, pinksandals!!!!! i was wondering how you were doing! it's good to hear you stayed on track - that's fabulous!!! when is your next weigh in?

i didn't hit the gym today but i plan on using my treadmill here at home. and i calculated my cals for yesterday and it was only about 50cals over - not bad for snacking!

hope ya'll are well - we miss the mia's!

well I did do 3 miles of walking yesterday instead of 5 but that is fine and today I walked another 5. I was supposed to run but wanted to read my book so walked instead. Took long but it went by since I had the book in front of me and for the last mile my daughter was talking to me. Don't know what she was saying but she was talking

Well, this challenge is going great so far! I had my first OP weekend in a LONG time. I also got in lots of walking over the weekend. I'm really looking forward to meeting my gobble-gobble goal (It is fun to write "gobble-gobble"! )

well I got in a total of 6.5 miles in today. 3.6 running and the rest walking. I figured that if I pick up the pace I may be able to surpass where I wanted to be by the end of this month and may get me going for the beginning of next month which will probably guarentee me getting my goal for this challenge.

i am so glad ya'll are having such a good week!!! i love hearing happy stories!

so, i have a question for ya'll - WHEN (not if!!) you reach your Gobble-Gobble goal (or surpass it) , what kind of reward will you give yourself? i was thinking about that today.

i have to think on this one, but i have some stuff in mind

I really, really need a new pair of jeans, so I'm thinking of jeans if I meet my goal... I love clothes for rewards!

did another 6 miles of walking today. I haven't really thought about a reward for myself yet. I will think of one though.
