Default Don't Be a Turkey - Thanksgiving Challenge - OFFICIAL CHALLENGE THREAD

Here it is girls! Week one of the Turkey Trot!

Let's HAVE FUN, Support eachother - gobble and gaggle it up! Most importantly - RUN LIKE A TURKEY WITH IT'S HEAD CUT OFF (aka - exercise) and DON'T GOBBLE 'TIL YOU WOBBLE!!! (eat right )

Week one weigh ins are due by 11:59 pm on November 6.

Here's a run down by weigh in days - JUST FIND THE DAY YOU NORMALLY WEIGH IN AND MAKE SURE YOU PM ME BY THE DATES LISTED

SUNDAY: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
MONDAY: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
TUESDAY: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
WEDNESDAY: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
THURSDAY:6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
FRIDAY: Oct. 31st, Nov. 7th, 14th, 21st
SATURDAY: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

Hi there! I signed up already but this will be my first challenge like this. I am looking forward to getting my weight loss kicked into gear. Thanks to the people that work hard to do these!

RL - I pretty much started doing these bwecause I was sick of the same old threads that had no personal involvement. We get close on these.. and I consider many of the girls friends... I'd LOVE to see them in person actually!

I LOVE hosting these threads.. plus I'm borderline crazy - so mine are generally pumped up - which I need! Melissa my fearless cohort (which you'd have to be fearless to pair up with me!) has some AWESOME mini-challenges planned.

All I know is that we have 4 weeks to get to our next mini-goal - and since I haven't hit a mini-goal in a LONG TIME I need to GEt 'r DONE!

Hey guys! Nice to meet everyone. I just signed up for the challenge and sounds like alot of fun! Eny borderline crazy is fun! Btw is there a way to permanently get a ticker in your posts? I tried to do it and even though my post count is highenough I cant figure it out. Thanks

Well, a few days into my new healthy lifestyle and so far, so good. I was really hungry over the weekend and ended up deciding on 2000 calories as my daily goal. I have a lot to lose and my ambitious 1500-1600 goal was apparently not enough to keep me satisifed. I was hungry all day for a couple of days! Plus, it was TOM. Do you find yourself more hungry during TOM? Is that a natural thing? I am used to pretty much overeating every day, so I don't know!

Enygirl - thanks for organizing things and motivating me, girly!

rlk - this is my first one, too! It's a good thing I'm on it, too because it has kept me going...

Stephi - I like all of your tickers, very lively

downtogoal - Welcome! Nice to meet you!! I made my ticker through the link on the user CP and it worked fine...I don't know much about it, though!

You have to have been a member for 20 days and have 20 posts to get a "signature". You can put the ticker into your "signature" option in your "User CP" located in the top right hand corner of the webpage. That way the ticker will show up in every post. You joined the 22nd, so you won't have a ticker option until November 11th or 12thish. I know the feeling of the anticipation. It's rather irksome, eh? Hang in there.

Today was my first day of my own 30 Day Shred challenge. Oh my! I was soooo shaky by the end. I know it's going to kick my butt and it just happens to coincide nicely with this challenge My food was good so far today too. It's only like 4:20 here though, so I have a while to go yet.

peachinabrownbag: Yes! I get sooo hungry during TOM. I could literally eat all day long. The good thing is even when I eat more than I planned I usually come out of TOM the same weight I went in. I think I read around the board that our body needs more calories during that time so it's natural to eat more.

Stacy - I'm about ready to go and do day 2 of level 2 of 30DS. I have a very STRONG / relationship with Jillian. I the results, but those 20 mins - I swear I'd kill her!!! I'm getting into my workout clothes now. I binged today for the first time in awhile! I had pizza for dinner. 3 slices! I guess it could be a TON worse!

Ok - off to get PO'd at Jillian! I'll check in tomorrow!!!
