Back again, sadly. I managed to get into the 170s nicely, and with demands at work and sheer laziness, I am back into the 180s, at 189.6lbs. Just barely in this group. I am trying not to be angry with myself and just pick up with my weight loss. I guess for me the first thing is acknowledging my slip and working my way back.

I also just started tracking my food with WW again. I have been lax about that and working out (might start again tomorrow). My motivating has been waning, but I am forcing myself to get motivated now, and hopefully already have a routine going before New Years.

Wish me luck, ladies. And any encouragement is strongly welcome!

goalgetta - As discouraging as it is to gain weight back and be back in the 180's, it helps to make you accountable. You are acknowledging it and stepping back in before it got too out of hand!

NOW is the time to pick yourself up and start again! You CAN do this. You've done it once before and I know that as a woman, you can do ANYTHING!!! Keep pushing!

Finally back to 180.5 today! (maybe even 180? The scale couldn't decide) I didn't go spinning this morning since I didn't get any sleep, but I will be working out later today! 170s you are so close, I will make you happen this week!

yesimhappilymarried - I LOVE spin class! Last year for Christmas my mom got us both a gym membership so we go to spin classes together (a really great motivator!) and we are so addicted to them. We started off with just two classes a week, but now we go three and sometimes even four times a week. We spin with two different instructors, the music is great, and like another girl said you work at your own pace with the resistance changes! It's such a great full body cardio workout - my legs are looking great and my abs are tighter and it even works your arm muscles. I would definitely suggest trying a class out I always recommend it to anyone who asks me.

This morning I weighed in at 178.8 BUT I don't count my weight until Monday morning and I seriously think it was just a fluke, not to mention I was bukk nekkid haha.

So tomorrow I will weigh myself in normal gear and then check in!

goalgetta, sounds like my story! I just started back at it last week after hopping on the scale and seeing 189. The best thing is that you caught yourself! Wishing the best for you.

Krizstyling & Platformnine, guess you guys won't be hanging around here for much longer! Break in the 170s group for us. We'll see you soon enough.

Mary - I know what's going on with you, you've been waiting for me to join you =) Well consider this our week to move on over! Us Jersey girls have to be on our game this week!

183.6. 1 lb down from last week. I really think this is where the long road starts. No more 4lb a week drops . I'll have to be contant with 1lb a week. still aiming to see 170s by new years though.

Uggghhhh, 180 yesterday and 181.5 today?! What the heck body! It could be emotional, yesterday was rough - we had to put my beloved cat down and she was the best cat I've ever had (one of those ones with so much personality it kills you) and I was a wreck yesterday. Or it could be TOM weight. I hope it's the later and that I get a whoosh by the end of this week. I want those 170s so badly. I haven't seen them since August!!!

I think my body has become too accustomed to my calorie intake so I'm switching it a bit lower from 1520-1870 to 1340-1620. If my loss rate doesn't change then I have no clue what the deal is.

Ali - Congrats! A 1lb loss is still better than a gain! Once I hit the 180s I started losing MUCH more slowly than when I had started. Hang in there!

yesimhappilymarried - Hooray! You're so close! We're all going to get out of here soon!

Finally, I have good news to report. There has been a break in the scale, and I weighed in at 180.6 this am and yesterday. I really can see those 170's...Kriz and Mary, we are going to creep out of here so soon. I am soooo excited to see the 170's again. Maybe I will get lucky and see them tomorrow!

Ali, 1 lb a week is definately something to celebrate if it's consistent!

yesimhappilymarried, you're so close! I'm not following behind you as closely as I was before, but I'm still trying!

platformnine, I'm so so so so so sorry to hear about your cat. I have a 12 yr old Siamese that has been through so much with me that I will be a mess when it comes his time. My thoughts are with you.
Don't worry about your weight this week. You will get that whoosh, just be strong with your choices.

Jamie, Yay 170s!! I'm anxious to see what your scale will be reading next too!


I'm back up from last Thursday which super sucks. Today my scale read 187.4. I guess I can't complain too much considering i technically am still down 1.6 lbs from last Monday. I was just hoping for a bigger dip from water weight.

So instead of moping over today's number, I'm going to be excited about next Tuesday's number! Because as long as it's still down, it means I am genuinely losing weight beyond water.

preppingbride - Thank you! When I was growing up we had 2 siamese, a seal point and a blue point, and I was a total mess when the blue point went at 18 - she was my snuggle buddy. They used to sleep in my crip with me. Don't worry about your weight either - you'll get there!

I guess this is where I'm at right now! I'm 25 (at least for the next three weeks) and I've been able to get down to 185 as my lowest and cannot seem to break past that. When I lost last year AND earlier this year I hit 185and seem to stall...then give up and gain back up to 206. ARGH.
I'm determined somehow to beat this though. This morning I was 185.8 - I'm gonna smash it though.
