169.2 today :( hope it's just one of those weird daily fluctuation things. On the plus side, my pants feel a little more comfortable on me today!

rainbowstripe 10-28-2010 08:55 PM

Weighed in at 73.6kg/162.2 pounds this morning! On my way down...hoping to make my Halloween goal of 73kg/160.9pounds - but that is a bit of a stretch in 2 days! We shall see! TOM could have something to say there...

fatmac 10-29-2010 08:30 AM

FINALLY back to 168.2 after two weeks bouncing in the low 170's. YAY!

LiLLy19 10-29-2010 10:33 AM

Rainbowstripe - you are dropping weight like fire!! Great job!!

ma26 - I know how it is to be overweight in numbers but not feel like it. Thats exactly how I am/was. But when I look back at pics from even 10 pounds ago Im floored by how chubby I look, like I could definitely stand to lose some weight!

Thanks ladies for being excited for me! Today is my offical WI day and the scale in fact said...*drumroll* 161.8! So yay! Now hopefully I can make it into the 150's within the next few weeks. The 160s have been so hard for me to get out of.

katybelle 10-29-2010 10:50 AM

Congratulations LiLLy19! :D

Weighed in at 168.4 today. I'm getting there. It's kind of disappointing because last week I saw a 3.2 pound difference and this week it's dropping pretty slowly, if at all. Funny how it works sometimes.

KenzideRhae 10-29-2010 11:35 AM

Still at 163.5 this morning. Kind of disappointed there was no drop at all because I kicked my butt this week with the workouts, but I'm going to blame TOM and be glad there wasn't any increase. :)

Minor NSV - I came back from a meeting today to find some of my team members sitting around with hot wings, beans, rolls, fries, etc. pigging out. They offered me some, and I took one look at the table and said "No thanks!!!" I couldn't even contemplate wanting to eat all that crap. It felt great to finally have that reaction to junk food! I found that they had a side dish of raw carrots and celery, so I had one carrot stick and left it at that! :D

Atarimae 10-30-2010 04:57 AM

KenzideRhae ~ I'm sure TOM has something to do with the stubborn numbers. I remember from my last day to the day after, I dropped about 1 & 1/2 pounds. (This was last week sometime) at least you're keeping up with the exercise. Great job :exercise:

elleohelle ~ nice job and welcome! Hopefully this decade is nice to you :)

cornellchick ~ great job on your NSV! :) I don't react that way to junk food quite yet, so it's good to know it may happen sometime for me.

This morning I weighed in at 168.0, so yay for the loss! I was especially happy because I was still able to lose weight when my mom had me eat pizza last night. Luckily I was strong enough to only take one medium slice of garden chicken pizza and had a big pile of salad with no dressing with it. Surprisingly, that was enough! I was in shock. Mini-NSV for me too, I guess.

rainbowstripe 10-30-2010 07:30 PM

Lilly Thanks!

WOOO!!! I made my Halloween goal this morning! 73kg exactly!! 160.9 poundsssss! I guess I'll be leaving here soonish? I kind of don't want to you ladies are all so lovely - but I guess there are lovely ladies in the 140s-150s thread too - and you all will hopefully join me there in not too long? I guess I'll still be here for a week or so!
Keep up the good work everyone!

EveLHaelf 10-30-2010 09:05 PM

Down 2 pounds! 164 :carrot:

LiannaKole 10-31-2010 02:48 AM

I've had a bit of a whoosh this week and have been seeing 150s only for a few days. I'll wait until my official weigh-in day to move to the 150s thread, though.

I admit I'm a little worried about getting closer to a technically normal weight. :( I still have so much fat on me. For some reason I subconsciously thought I'd be magically skinnier once I hit 149 (normal weight). But I have to realize it's still at the tippy top of the normal range. I'll be much closer to overweight than anything else.

I'm hoping each loss will take off more inches than before. It should, right? Because it's a larger % of my body mass the smaller I get? I hope so. Otherwise it worries me I'm not really shrinking, or that it'll just slow to a stop and I'll be wearing the same size I am now forever. I think it stems from my irrational but real-to-me fear that I'm not really losing weight/inches (even when the measures say I am). It's irritating sometimes to think that way. I'm working on it, but... does anyone know for sure that at lower weights people shrink more with each loss or not?

I'm happy, but I didn't ever think I'd be nervous about getting to a normal weight and getting smaller, but I am. One more thing to deal with, right? Oh well.

LiLLy19 10-31-2010 09:44 AM

Woohhoooo check out all the loss in this thread!! You ladies are amazing. Just breezing right through the pounds.

@KenzideRhae - I always gain a few pounds during TOM but sure am glad to see my previous number after it is over, even if there wasn't technically a loss. *happy dance* for not gaining.

@EveLHaelf - wow 2 pounds is awesome!!!! Great job.

@LiannaKole - I think the smaller you get, the more drastic the loss will seem. But even if you dont seem super skinny by the time you hit 149 its still a victory to be "normal".

ms hodge 10-31-2010 11:00 AM

I hit 159 today for the first time ever! I'll wait for a bit to move out of this thread, though. This puts me at a "normal" weight for the first time in my adult life, according to the well-loved BMI chart. :)

LiannaKole -- I know exactly how you feel! My goal is 155, but I still have a bunch of fat "pockets" on me (on my belly and thighs especially, upper arms, etc). So when I reach goal I'm going to set a lower goal that will be pretty flexible, with more emphasis on toning and measurements than weight.
