bex~ CONGRATULATIONS!!! Great job!!!

KayNicole
~ Weather didn't cooperate until late, so I didn't get as much of a walk in as I wanted. How are you doing?

Nothing exciting here... Paid off a big bill today, so there is some relief there, sucks that I still have 4 more to go though... There is a really annoying cricket somewhere in our living room and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

*Edit* It wasn't a cricket, it was a praying mantis... freaky looking, but I didn't kill it, just threw it outside...

Well, I've had a good day plan wise, just went a point or two over and got in my sad little jog this morning (I'm working towards a 5K, but am still in the beginning phases). Was so tired all day though. My 8 month old decided to get up like 5 times last night and I felt like a zombie most of the day. I even fell asleep on a couch at work for like 20 minutes!

Bex - GREAT on your 3.3 lb loss!!!
Kim - Sat down in the bathroom today and a giant cricket jumped up. It scared the crap out of me (not literally!) I really dislike big jumping bugs. A praying mantis would give me the heebie jeebies, for sure!

bex - way to go on the loss!
Kim - I like it so far, but it's going to be a big change when it comes to eating out. But already my energy levels have been up (no soda since Sunday...). I did have a bad day yesterday and ate out with the BF. And I felt like crap. So I'm going to keep that in mind. I'm trying to look at it not as giving up my fave foods, but gaining energy...if that makes sense.
Denice - I started C25K last week...and sadly haven't worked on it since. good for you! It's not a sad little jog. It's the first steps that are required to reach your goal of a 5k. way to go!

what's up with everyone and crickets? lol.
I haven't been tracking my points actively since trying to "eat clean". I did the first day and it was pretty close to my point mark. I still want to attend the meetings, though. I'm just approaching it differently
Have a great day!

Kim- Sorry to hear you didn't get as much of a walk in but better than nothing.

I FOUND A DRESS!! For that wedding I am going to. I was really worried about shopping. I have been to the mall like 3 times in the past 5 years so I was dreading it. I was actually more than pleasantly surprised that size 14 dresses were fitting me! The last 2 times I tried on fancy dresses I was fitting into 18s. Anyway I was shocked that the one fitted dress I tried actually had an extra 2 inches around my waist! I found a dress that doesn't require spanx, thank goodness because I totally broke a sweat just trying them on at the store! lol Anyway, that is a huge relief. If only I had lost a few more lbs... but really I am happy that I have lost as much as I have.

The dress does not exist unless you post pictures of it

LOL I almost posted it but figured I would hear about how I need a picture of me actually IN the dress... which I don't have yet.

But here is the pic of the dress...

Thanks, ade! I got it at Macy's. My sister just sent me an email that she picked up shoes for me but I don't know for sure if they will match yet...

Oh My! I haven't worn heels like these in years!!

Those are cute, too! If they don't match, get 'em anyway and wear them with something else!

Totally! She says they were only $22! I just hope they fit, I am always borderline 7 1/2 or 8 but lately it seems like I have been leaning toward 8's and these are 7 1/2's. But hey, beauty hurts right? lol

Omg I adore that dress and the shoes are stunning!! Jealous. Man you are going to look so beautiful! What an awesome colour!

I am having a great couple of days plan wise. Even managed to go to the pub and have a few drinks last night
Been kicking my own butt at Zumba so feeling pretty good.

How is everyone today? Wait is it night where you all are? I get confused :P

Bex, it was night for me, a little past 8pm. I was still up with a harsh headache, just not on 3FC.
Am I strange for keeping my tension headache pills at work so I can't call out when the headaches follow into the morning hours? The lure of painkillers drag me into work, and two hours after showin' up and poppin' the Excedrin I'm usually headache free . Sure saves me from using up my sick leave, (Though my strong aversion to callin' my boss helps with that as well). Congrats on those 3.3 pounds, oh wow, awesome work!

Kay, it's hard to tell in the shoe pic's lighting, but it looks like a close match. I rather like the idea of the shoes being a little darker than the dress. But then again, I'm not a fashion-person. But those heels look killer! (I'd fall on my @$$ after one step, but I bet you will look stunning!) Definitely post a photo! I'd love to see you showin' off the dress and heels!

Grats on the jog, Deni! You're building up to longer and faster distances, these things take time.

Kim, what a feeling having a paid off bill is, encourages one to get to the rest. I'm kind of jealous, .

So, I'm at work. Nothin' really new or exciting here (except for still having a job, yay! ;P).
Happy Thursday!
