Good Morning Ladies!

Where do I even start? LOL I'm not going to... let's just say today is off to a rocky start.

I was MIA last week mostly because I was eating horribly and I guess just in a funk that I couldn't really put my finger on. I weighed yesterday and today at 187.4. [SERIOUSLY?!!?!?] Hello self sabotage. I think partially I freaked because I'm so close to my half way point?

Today is a new day - on to bigger, brighter, on plan things.

Chele - we just gotta dust ourselves off and get back on the horse, darlin!

I hope you all had a great weekend! To those of you that are moms I hope you had a great mother's day!

Mothers day took a toll on me, with all the food at the family dinner!

I also missed a birth control pill and got my period early, so I'm super bloated. I'm two pounds heavier then I was Saturday morning so today it's back on the horse for an intense work out after work and eating right!

Feral, I think we all have those kind of days. The important thing is that you're getting back on track!

I'm getting excited because I'm only 5 lbs away from seeing 179 on my scale. I can't remember the last time I was in the 170's.

I have a lovely cute little 5 extra pounds sitting on my hips after a week of horrible eating... but I have an excuse but wont bore you with it...

I got back to the gym this morning and did my hour on the stairmaster... I wanted to quit but I didnt...

things are super super rocky around here and I havent been studying so I hope to get back into the swing of things...

I also hope those cute little five pounds find a new home somewhere else

Haley - you'll kick them out in no time.

Feral - you can do it

So I'm having issues getting out of bed. I need to exercise and there's a spin class at 430 so I'll be at that. I need the endorphins. I hate this anxiety ish. But I was 171.2 this morning...

Afternoon Ladies
Weekend was tiring sat was pretty good with what I ate I was on my feet all day and first thing sat morning when we were setting up our booth at a festival i got my foot tangled in the carry bag of our chairs and took a tumble off the curb and onto my knee against rough concrete so its swollen blue scratched up and hurts to bend it so no intense workouts this week i guess i'll do a lot of upper body and some light walking (or hobbling) LOL Sunday i spent the day cleaning the entire house and yard for a mothers day cookout not much healthy food to choose from but i had a hamburger with lots of veggies on it. So i didnt even look at the scale this morning i just didnt want to know LOL lots of water today so maybe tomorrow i'll still be in the high 170s.
hope everyones monday has been a good one

Stella- yay! Why the anxiety? I probably missed something in the previous weekly chat >.<

Haley- well done on not quiting. I know that feeling soo well, and its really hard to not just say screw it and go home

Feral- the closer i get to goal the more I freak out too. Maybe its normal? Or maybe we are both mad

Sounds like everyone had a crazy weekend. I've finally moved into the apartment and have all the essentials in the place. It took all of Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday and I'm pretty beat >.< It didnt help that I have a cold and managed to passit on to my boyfriend, so neither of us are feeling 100% (and im retaining water grrr). Theres still stuff that needs to be moved around in the apartment but thats much easier done than trying to get it actually in xD And today I get to do my first ever food shop! I'm excited!

Feral ~ Yes, we do need to dust ourselves off and get back into it!

I ran on the treadmill for 22 minutes without stopping. I was quite proud of myself. My knee is feeling a bit "crunchy" right now though, so I am being lazy for the rest of the night...haha. Plus, it's absolutely FRIGID out today so I have no qualms just getting under my covers

Chele - Nice run! Definitely rest your knees up. I recently started putting my feet in ice baths and it's awesome.

Feral - Water retention, I'm serious. TOM just came yesterday and I'm up two pounds from two days ago. It's a faux gain, and you just need to tell yourself that. Get to the gym, and stalk the hot guy from like...forever ago haha.

Haley - I hope things are toning down. I was listening to Bloc Party the other night, and the song Signs came on, and I thought of your sister. My thoughts are still with your fam. Hope things are getting better (or as "better" as they could be.) Good luck with that evil test!

I'm surprisingly not feeling too bad after my 10-miler yesterday. My lower back is a bit sore, probably because my core is so weak. Sad. Need to work on that more. Got a 5K this weekend in LA (hooray!) and my best friend is in town for a few weeks so it'll be fun times. I think I'm going to try to take a yoga class, a kickboxing one, and a spin or zumba one.

I think it's funny that girls are usually intimidated by weight lifting and not so much by classes but I'm completely the other way around. Weight lifting is like essential and normal to me. I see the classes and how packed they are and how everyone seems to know exactly what they're doing and it scares me. But, time to get out of my box right?

Why is it that when you go off track for a few days, it is SO hard to get back on track? I was mentally perfectly on plan since January, not even craving really awful things, or being able to resist things that were put in front of me... and now that I had two days of eating whatever the **** I wanted, my brain now WANTS TO EAT EVERYTHING. Ugh.

Steph - you missed ONE pill and you got your period? You must have a super sensitive system. I can usually miss 2 or 3 and still be okay. I mean, obviously don't do it on purpose but it's happened before.

MrsDeenz - YOU ARE SO CLOSE!!! You and I can get there together since I'm going to stop sabotaging myself. I know the lowest weight I was last March was 181... I can't remember seeing the 170s either. We totally have this!!!

Haley - I'm proud of you for not quitting even though you wanted to. Getting back in the groove sucks... keep hangin' in there, love. Things will get better. Maybe not soon. My favorite phrase is a sign my friend Jamie has in her kitchen. It says "This too shall pass... now would be good."

Jenny - I never got to respond to your post from last weeks chat. Your ex is a complete d-bag and he does NOT deserve you. Promise me this... no matter what he says or what happens - DO NOT TAKE HIM BACK. The first guy I was ever really in love with cheated on me so many times... and I was the idiot that kept hoping it would change. Well it didn't.... and I was still finding out about times he cheated on me YEARS after we broke up. You are a phenomenal woman. In the words of Jay-Z "I got 99 problems but a B*tch ain't one!"

Skinny - sorry to hear about your fall!!! Hows your knee doing today!?

Stella - YAY for 171 and YAY for feeling like a functioning human again!

Icon - we're all mad here! I hope you and the bf start feeling better soon. Glad you got moved in. What does your cat think of the new place?

Chele - I should share some of my awesome weather with you. It went from being in the 80s-90s to being in the upper 60s-70s. GORGEOUS.

Jess - I already told you this but WOW 10 MILES?!!??! That is so amazing! In gorilla feet none the less! It's surprising how much fun you have by actually going OUT of your comfort zone. Although I would probably rather do a class than do the weight lifting. That's only because I don't know what I'm doing though.

Sam - I always blame the sugar. Last week I was on plan but added more carbs into my diet than I usually do and was craving all sorts of stuff. Plus I think it's that whole "I want what I can't have." You'll get over it in a few days. Hang in there!

I have been on plan all day today. HOORAY.

Went to the gym and worked out for 45 minutes.

TAKE THAT, SELF! ha!

Icon - There was nothing in last week's chat, but there's just family crap going on and I'm being put in the middle, plust stuff with that jack a$$ at work and since I was tapering exercise for my hike I didn't have enough endorphins to feel normal. All better now I'm excited for you with the new apartment. Its so exciting to be on your own

Okay. So I only had like 450 calories and I went to Qdoba. I got a naked burrito with no cheese and no sour cream (but with guacamole, because really, who can resist that) and it was 690 calories. I actually checked the calories before I ordered it, and didn't check the sodium. 1610 mg. Oof. I've been drinking water all day, and I'm still drinking water, so maybe it won't be too terrible... It was delicious though.
