Yikes you guys my house is shaking like crazy from the 30mph winds and the power keeps going out :( I hope this blizzard is over soon.
Mary- congrats on the 10s! It was really emotional for me to get back into tens as well, bc it was my high school size and I hadn't been in 10s for about 4 years. And I love size charts! I'm always like, really? If you say so.... lol Feral- glad the principal was on board with your concerns; hope things get better. skinny- I'm so proud of you that you did your half! I was in that half training thread for a while but I never ended up doing the longer runs. Hayley-congrats on the 220s! It counts! pammy- I had problems logging on once today but it seems to be ok now... ? |
Mary-Congratulations on the size tens...honestly I dont think I ever was a size ten... I was always size fat haha...
Feral- I totally forgot...Honestly I rarely eat anything after dinner now... the first half of my weight lost journey I ate ice cream EVERYNIGHT but I dont feel like I need it anymore...hmm Forest-Thanks... my drivers license is a big lie it says I weigh 200 pounds...ya know I'm getting closer to it being not such a lie :) |
Forest - thanks! ya, i remember seeing you in that thread...i wasn't so good at the long runs either, and i'm not gonna lie, the HM was painful, but i finished, and that's all that i cared about! do you plan on doing one still? it did feel like a huge personal accomplishment.

Mary!!! I'm so proud of you =) Size 10 jeans, BAM!!! CONGRATS girl!!
You all are gonna laugh at me, but good morning!!! That's what california does to me, hehe. So I generally try to only weigh myself once a week, but this morning i couldn't resist. I've been sticking to plan really well and pushing myself hard in the gym. And today the scale rewarded me! Down 1.5 to 181.0!!!! Woooo ***happy dances all around**** and one more thing for Mary - :congrat: :congrat: :congrat: |
Awww Pammy sorry I didn't respond -- I haven't been having issues LATELY but I have had those issues in the past. It's really annoying and its like you can't sign on all day.
Hope it gets straightened out soon. 20 more minutes and I'm out of work. That is one thing I love about my job... Here at 7 but done at 3:30. I have two hours to kill before I go see my therapist. This is the second visit. We'll see how this goes as last week was just a general kind of "getting to know you" session. We didn't really get INTO anything. I would exercise.... I mean I guess I could walk but I'm not trying to do anything crazy like go for a run because I'm not trying to show up to her house stinky! *whew!* |
Pammy - I still have issues too. Its odd, only on computers, my iPhone always works.
Feral - I have a temper and I have issues with it. There's this one co-worker I have - we fight all the time. Its terrible (and it doesn't help that he's a pompous a$$ who thinks women are all stupid and lesser than he is). Mary - Congrats! I'm kind of having the same thing you are. I'm a 12, but I'm 183. I'm pretty sure that when I was 185 I was wearing 14's and 16's previously. Its all very odd to me. Haley - My license says 190. I just ambiguously picked a number at the DMV (I don't think it was ever true). I realized I'm less than 10 lbs away from weighing what I did in high school, but I was a tiny little thing in high school, and I don't feel that way now although people keep saying wow! you look so skinny! One of our programmers was like you keep getting smaller and smaller, are you aiming for a size 0? I'm like dude...far from it, but thanks :) |
Ha... my drivers license says 125... and it wasn't a lie. i was at the peak of my 3 cross-country running seasons at age 16. i used to be able to run a 6 minute mile! i basically want to get back in that kind of shape. Although i don't need to see a 125. I'll be 100% content if i get into the 130's, and the ultimate goal is 129. that's close enough for the drivers license to not be a lie, right? lol

My school totally screwed us out of a snow day today...or at least a two hour delay!!!! The roads were horrible and unplowed. I was stuck behind a bus going uphill at like 5mph and my tires kept slipping. At one point, my steering wheel was just turning around and around and I kept sliding to the side of the road....which happens to be a ditch into the river. I had many choice words for the school department on the ride to school this morning. I have never heard so many swear words coming out of my mouth at 6:50 in the morning!! haha
The roads were still pretty bad when I got home and now the snow (which lasted for about 7 hours and gave us about 5 inches) has turned to rain. I was originally thinking of going to the gym since my class was cancelled, but I couldn't even get into my driveway. So, my gym time was spent shoveling the driveway out. My arms are so weak now!!! haha |
Yikes Chele - glad you made it alive!
|
Chele - Glad you're home safe, and shoveling snow is a GREAT work out!
My drivers license has never asked for my weight, just my height...? Or maybe I've just never filled in the weight part lol. |
mine doesnt ask my height or weight
|
Mine doesn't ask for height/weight either.....pretty much just name, address, and birthday. And of course, the nice little "SHE WEARS GLASSES" code on the back ;)
One year, we had to fill out CORI forms for school and that asked for weight. My mom was laughing with one of the coworkers that they were just going to put "more than enough" as their weight. Either that or put like "125" and if someone called them on it, they would be like "Oh, we thought you meant our goal weight" LOL |
LOL i totally would have put my goal weight. mine also has the "must wear glasses or arrest her" thing. Which is really bad when you break them at the gym >.< mostly only when you drive to the gym
|
CHELE - Glad you survived. My a$s wouldn't have driven in that! I would've told them to kiss it!
You guys are too funny! The state of NC doesn't ask for weight on your drivers license... although one time an officer served my neighbor with some papers. She was at my old house and asked me to run across the street to see what is was. Since he dropped the papers off with me he had to take my info and he said "you weigh about 110 right?" to which I laughed profusely and said "Yes officer!" That was when I was about 165 or so. Smart guy!!!!! |
Well when I get to goal I'm going to have my license changed... I still find it funny when people tell me I'm not fat... and I'm like correct I'm obese...thank you have a nice day haha...
I just got home from my sushi dinner and I ate horribly and I had a chick fila milkshake... please throw rocks at me or something... back on plan tomorrow... |
