I can't believe how fast the week is going Well I've been on plan with the exercise, so I'm thrilled about that. I told myself that I'm not going to stress myself out over the maintenance phase. I'm just gong to continue to make good choices and exercise 6 days per week.
With the holidays coming this will be the real test lol. Also, we have several parties going on at work for which I have already planned my strategy lol. I will stick to veggies and will be bringing my own salad dressing. So we'll see how that goes
Yesterday was an aboslutely perfect fall day. Warm and sunny! Buttt....I didn't get out for a walk. We needed more ceiling paint and I had to get groceries. I took care of that after work and by the time I got home it was dark. Although, everyplace I stopped I parked at the far end of the parking lot so I could get some extra steps in.
Wow you're rocking this weight loss journey with your loss since July! Truly inspiring!!

I've gotten my diet under control this last week, so today I too am starting to add some working out. Hope it goes well for both of us!
Good job on the 5 pound loss since the last week! That's great!

Well have a great day everyone!
Yes the holidays will be a real test for me too. I always fail - I think (hope) I'm stronger this year and ready to post some losses during the holidays!
As for me - down about 3 pounds since Monday. Staying on plan with the diet - just need to add some cardio in the mix and hope that helps!
TOM is here in all it's glory. Bloated, achy, grumpy , you name it, I'm experiencing a delightful sample platter of symptoms. I feel like a big . Weight is up to 206 but that's directly related to TOM. Would love to be just outside 200 before November kicks in.
I'm dog and house sitting this weekend so don't know if I'll be checking in. My thanks to all of you for keeping my dear friend in your thoughts and prayers . Everyone have a wonderful weekend!
Rennie!
@Martine: Thanks for all your good thoughts and well wishes for my friend. Couldn't agree with you more. Women are !
@lovemylife001: Oh, boy, the holidays October-January seems to bring an endless parade of goodies and delights. While I'm not much of a candy person I'm most definitiely a , cake, pie person . About 5 years back when I was really in the zone, I lost 4 pounds in December. Could I ever do this again
@winning15: Congrats on getting back to even. In sports metaphors you've just started a new game! Love your attitude and perseverance
@KateB: HUGE congrats on meeting your first goal . You are knocking it out the park this month so I have complete faith that you WILL reach your next goal by your goal date. And what a great gift you're giving yourself
I love my weekends I was off today. I treated myself to a day at the hair salon and did some grocery shopping so that I won't have to do it tomorrow.
aKelly728 on the 3 lb loss. That's awesome, keep up the good work.
Curvy I too am a cake, donut and pie lover Especially pumpkin donuts, so I'm on the struggle bus right now with those delicious donuts everywhere I go lol.
Haven't caught up yet, but wanted to report that I managed to maintain my weight while I was away! Yay me. Just went grocery shopping too, so plenty of good eats in my fridge. So ready to rock it out! Hope everyone is doing well. Will catch up soon.
winning15 the 210s are calling, you're right there, great job on getting back to your starting point.
kukkie84 welcome back and good to hear that your vacation was a success weight-wise. Hope you had a great time with your family.
akelly728 3 pounds down AND getting your diet under control, two big wins right there.
So I've been exhausted from work, haven't been consistent with exercising at all, but I'm eating well. Still hoping to make it into the 220s by the end of October.
Thanks lovemylife , I'm in and out. We are so busy at work, and then two of the boys are always doing something and needing something so I feel like all I do is work, rip and run and sleep.
love2b150 there are periods like that where it seems that you have no free time. But the most important thing is to not forget to take care of yourself.
Woke up in the 220s for the first time in 4 years ( back then it happened after I had an operation followed by a pulmonary embolism - not a good way to lose weight). Don't know if it will stick, but I am enjoying the moment.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Maybe it was because I was pet sitting that the weekend seemed to move extra quickly. Yesterday I hit a low of 203.2 which I was thrilled about. Today I'm at 203.8. Not going to complain at all!
@Martine: Well done getting into the 220s . This could be the beginning of breaking all kinds of barriers. It is weird though to see a number on the scale you aren't used to seeing
@Kukkie84: Congrats on maintaining while on vacation . Never an easy thing to do. Yay you, indeed
@love2b150: Sometimes you just can't ignore those days and weeks when you find yourself a perpetual motion machine Self-care is important especially for those with children and significant others. Really, for all of us. It's almost impossible to take care of anyone else if you aren't cared for so I hope that you're able to catch your breath every so often and distance yourself from the activity.
I'm down to 208.9 this morning. Lunch was portioned too big, but I didn't eat all of it, so a small win for me there. Dinner is in the slow cooker at home, yay. Tomorrow, I start at the gym here at work. I'm excited and worried - it's been a long time since I've been in the gym. One step at a time.
