Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend.

Saturday my mom and I went to an art festival. I bought a necklace. We avoided all the food vendor then went out for lunch. I have a salad with grilled chili lime shrimp no cheese or dressing. The rest of the weekend I was home and cook my meals so they were all on plan.

Saturday evening I went to the gym for an hour. I was planning on doing it on Sunday but spent most of the day prepping and cooking food for this week, doing laundry and cleaning up around the house. I should have just made myself go, but I didn't. I packed my gym bag this morning so I am planning on stopping there afterwork. WAIT...NOT Planning...I WILL STOP THERE AFTER WORK!!

I had a 1.6 pound loss over the weekend. Next Sunday is a Bridal Expo I am going to with my daughter and her bridesmaids. I am hoping to be at my next mini milestone of 259, I should be able to make it!!

Curvy I love the idea of giving everybody a small task to get supper inthe crock pot in the morning. Wish I would have thought of that when my kids were still at home!

Have a great week everyone!

Good Afternoon Everyone

Hope everyone had a great on plan weekend

This weekend, I added a yoga routine to my workouts. Normally, I don't workout on Sundays, but I figured, it couldn't hurt lol. It was nice and not too much.

Hope everyone has a great week with beautiful weather!

Also, and to everyone who had losses this past week

Good morning everyone.

I am down 1.3 to 207.7. Getting rid of some of this weekend gain. I'm going to have to be very careful over the next two weeks. I tendered my resignation yesterday, and have since been invited to at least three lunches over the next two weeks. Will need to be careful about my eating choices and also make sure that all of my other foods work around it.

curvynotlumpy - Congratulations on the loss! Ole Miss did a great job. I thought the win would have been even better. They scared me a few times but made some pretty amazing plays too. I'm a happy fan and even dh seemed to cheer with me lol (we both are against bama.)

Sunshinie - yay for the loss! Dh has stuck right in there with me. I'm still pretty shocked.

bigjoe - yay for no gain! I'm sure it was a lot of fun seeing old friends and reconnecting.

KateB - Turning down festival food is basically a super power! Way to go! I'm sure cleaning helped burn a few calories too! Good luck on hit your next mini goal!

lovemylife001 - Oh yoga! I have a Jillian Michaels DVD that I'm too chicken to crack open. I'm pretty sure I have zero body strength and it looks like it takes a lot of it lol. One day.

Kukkie84 - Good luck and congratulations on this next chapter. Go into the lunches with a plan. You'll do great!

AFM: We're still chugging along today is day 6. SIX whole days of being on plan. I'm learning with every triumph there's something negative to somewhat balance the universe. I love that my hubby is eating this way with me. But it's made me a slave to making sure he has his food. Plus cooking his lunch the night before if we don't have leftovers and all those extra dishes. It's doable just a bit frustrating. When I'd like to be in bed at 10, I'm usually still washing dishes (I don't have a dishwasher) and dh is relaxing or snoozing already. I'll be ok. He did acknowledge that I'm doing all of the work and said thank you last night. So that made me feel better.

I jumped up .5 lb yesterday but I'm back down to 277.2 today. Not sure what the gain was about. Oh well, moving forward!

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Scale stayed the same this morning. But that's ok. I know I will have days like that. I have been a bit more liberal with the salk shaker as of late so I should be happy I did not see a gain.

lovemylife I have thought about trying yoga. Local commuity ed offered two different classes this fall. I did not sign up though. I wafraid of being the fat clumsy one in the back of the room that didn't know what was goin on. Maybe when the winter classes start I will give it whirl!

kukkie Good luck with the lunches out. When I know I will be eating out I try to find the menu online ahead of time so I can make a plan.

Nagazim I have been married nearly 26 years, DH has never cooked a meal. Her doesn't grill. He does not cook, but he loves to eat. A few years back I was getting fed up with coming home from work, being in the kitchen cooking dinner while he relaxed and watched TV, or was outside doing whatever it was he was doing. We would then eat. Most of the time rather quickly so he could back to his TV show or outside and I would be stuck in the kitchen doing dishes. After (more than a) few lengthy and sometimes rather heated discussions on the topic we came to an agreement, I will cook, he will clean up. Now mind you, I had to lower my standard of "clean", but it was basically a marriage saver.

Martine I forgot you were a vegetarian. The brain is not all here at times I so badly want to do two days of nothing but broth with hopes that is will help me but I can't get through the afternoon doing it. I'm good until I get home then bam, smh.

Kukkie sorry about the stove. Good job on the 3lbs, it's a bloat whoosh that you want gone, Soooo GO YOU

YAY lovemylife for normality You Tube is great. My oldest son looks on You Tube for a lot of things and they usually do work if you find the right video Some of them are crazy though

Nagazim, glad low carb is working It works for me when I do it Nagazim, I love your comment to Kate. The sound of a happy home is such a blessing How old are your children? I remember having a house full of little people. The ages of mine now are 11, 14, 16, 17 and 22. The 22 yr old is married and on her own

Kate the wedding expo sounds fun. LOL on hubby staying in the camper Kate you are doing great. Keep up the good work

Curvy, we like white chicken chili better than the regular one. And it fairs better with my husbands stomach. Something about red sauces that just do him in for some reason, idk.

Sunshinie, good job on the 2lbs I like the everybody in cooking That works here sometimes

Joe, you are working it out, not as bad as you thought your choices were while with friends. GO YOU

Well I have resurfaced weight is up but my husband brought my treadmill in the house so I will start on that either Thursday or Friday. My plan is to get back up to at least 3 miles a day 6 days a week or at least 5 but no less. Once I start this I am hoping I will stick with it and make my next goal of 150 by April

friends! Nice to see the updates. Lots of success and progress is being made As for me, it is Orientation week here at my university so my presence on 3FC will be sporadic. I'm still here but the students are back and they want to experience EVERYTHING. Every open house, every activity, every tabling event (with food) Classes begin on Thursday and as I explained to a group of students I gave a presentation to on Monday, "celebrate this week because until classes begin everyone has the perfect GPA" One of the true blessing of working on a college campus is being able to absorb the youthful energy of the students.

A great rest of the week to everyone!

Good Wednesday morning everyone

Nagazim I'm afraid of Julian Michaels lol. All of her workouts are pretty challenging, so I'm sure even the yoga would be intense. Maybe, I'll work myself up to doing hers.

KateB I felt clumsy when I first starting doing yoga, but it's getting better and I'm in the privacy of my own home, so if I look awkward no one will know besides me. They also offer yoga at my local community center, maybe one day I'll get the courage to sign up.

love2be150 That's great about the treadmill. It's nice to be able to workout at home. I usually only workout 6 days of week myself, it keeps me motivated.

Kukkie84 Good luck with your lunch

Curvy & bigjoe

Well the week is half over Have a great day everyone!

loveofmylife001 you are my exercise idol, six days a week is my goal, not there yet.

love2b150 I'm sure you can get those 3 miles in five-six times a week.

Nagazim it's great to see that your husband is sticking to the plan with you but I can see how it's a pain to do all of the cooking yourself.

Kukkie84 make the best choices possible during your luncheons in the next couple of weeks. Nothing more you can do.

I'm off to work out now. I have to stick to this, even though I am getting frustrated at being stuck at 233. Have a nice day everyone!

scales are moving in the right direction, YAY

Thanks lovemylife it is great to work out at home and save money also

Martine I sure hope so Hope you break through your plateau soon

I'm down .7. I ate pizza last afternoon/early evening, thin crust and a cinnastick (my son ordered Dominos). Funny how the body works. I surely didn't expect a loss, but I will sure take it

Happy hump day everyone!

Managed to get out and go for a walk again last night. I walked 2.25 miles, the night beofre I did an even2 miles. Last night it took me 2 minutes less to walk .25 miles further. So glad my knee is finally getting better. Now if I could just get rid of these leg cramps that wake me up at night.

Rain in the forcast for today/evening I hope I can get a walk in, otherwise I will have to go to the gym. I would much rather be outdoors while I can before winter sets in.

This morning I was rewarded with a 1.2 pound loss.

kukkie, nagazim, bigjoe, martine, lovemylife on your losses!!

kukkie just make the best choice possible when it comes to lunch out and then move on with the rest of the day. Remember one slip at one meal doesn't mean the whole day or week is shot.

Best of luck to everyone today!

Good morning!! I'm up 1.0 to 208.0. Didn't drink nearly enough water yesterday to flush out the lunch sodium. Lunch #2 is today. And then #3 is tomorrow. I'm really going to need to extra diligent this weekend and just flush everything out.
