Seems many of us are facing upswings in our weight, hang in there everyone! We can do this!

Had a 30-minute workout this morning, even though I almost talked myself out of it. Gotta get that weight back down.

Hi everyone

I had an okay weekend. Saturday, I wanted to rip my hair out, because the scale had gone up again to 208.2. But I stuck to my plan. Took Peanut out "shopping" to get some walking done, cleaned our condo between Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday was my cousin's bridal shower, so we ended up doing some dancing after all of the running around to get ready. Anyway, happy to say that Sunday I went down to 206.4 so that's a 1.8 loss. And then I maintained this morning. So 206.4 for me again.

I did do quite a bit of cooking yesterday to prep for the week, so no reason to eat quick, unhealthy food, because I really just have to pull it out of the fridge and warm it up. Yay. I'm hoping for a great week.

I hope everyone is doing well. Two more weeks in this month, let's bang it out!

Time to face the music. Too much take out. Too many restaurants, and too many cocktails. I'm up 5.5 pounds from my low point. Time to halt the madness before it's 10 pounds, 15 pounds, or 20 pounds. I am beginning walking with a co worker tomorrow. That helped me a lot before I changed jobs. The dog went to the vet Thursday and she needs to loose 10 to 15 pounds. I should start walking her every night too. I have a goal of 30 pounds by the last week of October. I did it January to April so now it's time to focus and move on.

I'm here! Not very awake, but I'm here. Sorry I've been MIA - some weeks/days are just harder than others to engage with life (depression sucks). I've been super busy too. Took on a second job (driving for Uber) so the last 5 days have been killer . . . working all day at the "real job" / watching grandkids and then driving. In addition to my regular job (M-F 8:30-5:30) and watching grandkids (Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday overnight till Saturday 5 pm and then 10 pm-overnight), I drove almost 400 miles from midnight Thursday night until 1:30 am this morning. Ugh! Exhausted. Too bad not all of those miles will be paid miles because you only get paid for the miles you have an actual passenger in the car. I'm not thrilled about doing this Uber thing (it's kind of scary and very tiring), but I don't have much of a choice right now. I've got to make some extra income - for at least a couple of months - to try to get ahead a little.

Well, I better get busy. Lots of things with deadlines at work today. Have a good day.

Hang in there! (Oh, 219.6 this morning . . . hopefully it sticks).

Hi everyone

Rough start to the week health wise - woke up at 5am with intense pain. Unfortunately I've had this pain before - so I knew I was dealing with kidney stones. CT scan confirmed them. But, got some meds and rest and heading to the client site tonight. Got to keep going - just need to eliminate the soda intake

As for good news, I am down - which is great. I've worked out this weekend, stayed on plan except for Friday night. Feeling stronger and focused

Hope everyone has a smooth Monday - like Kukkie said, only 2 more weeks in the month - let's make them count!

Looks like most went from gaining to losing again.

I've been doing the same. I had two crazy gains, then this morning I am back to losing. I do well some days and then others I just lose it by mid afternoon, which is typically my dinner time since I go to work so early and go to bed early. I've got to figure out something that will halt my eating after I eat, if you know what I mean.

Incredibly surprised. I'm down 0.2 to 205.3. Wasn't expecting that, as I had lunch out yesterday with a colleague, and then dinner out for my mom's birthday. Perhaps it was all the water I drank yesterday, or all the walking around I did when I got home. Crazy me agreed to bake for my boss' surprise birthday celebration on the same night that I was going out to celebrate my mom's birthday. Didn't put two and two together when I agreed. So, I was up until midnight baking. But that's another reason why I'm surprised, didn't get a full night's sleep. Meh, I'll take it and claim victory for today!!!
