Welcome Pnk!
Way to go OnlyBelieve!!! Hang on Sue. It will woosh away. The water is just being stubborn, so you have to be stubborn right back! I am down to 253.9, but offical weigh in is Saturday. I am holding my breath to see if this sticks or is a tease. lol |
Sue - I find coffee tends to help me get rid of water weight. But like Mara said, if you continue to be stubborn it has to come off eventually!
Mara- my fingers are crossed for you! |
267.4 this morning. The numbers stalled on 267.6 for a sec before going to 267.4 so I may be either one but I want to say the lower, so I am. LOL
Wannaskipandlaugh- I'm not sure if anger burns calories, but if you take a punching bag and write weight gain on it and kick and punch it, i'm sure your anger will then burn calories! pnkrckpixikat I drink a cup of Coffee with Splenda just about every morning and I don't know if it helps with water weight but it helps me in the bathroom dept.:o I'm about to drink a cup right now. |
Only Believe - I think the coffee helps with the water weight, the days I drink it I seem to pee a lot more than what I seem to take in. And if I go out to a restaurant then have a couple of iced coffees instead of crystal light that day and the next day I really don't notice a sodium bump as much either.
Also I say go with whatever the number settled on in the end, and it was the lower one so YAY! |

It looks like it has been an interesting couple of days!
Glad you're not going anywhere Sue...but I'm sorry about your water being stubborn and not wanting to leave you. I drink a couple of cups of coffee in the morning and that helps me pee a lot...but I don't know how much it helps with water retention overall. I officially had no clothes that fit me so I had to break down and do some shopping and pick up a few things. I hit all the clearance racks and dummy me bought a couple of 2X things thinking they would be too big only to discover they were Junior 2X's - so it'll be another 30 lbs. or so before I'm wearing that stuff in public. I did get to buy a couple of XXL camisoles at Target that fit...I can't believe how much cheaper regular clothing is! I've also been stalking eBay all week along with selling my own clothes...my beautiful too big clothes that people don't seem to want to pay a reasonable price for. And since it's been so long since I've used eBay I had to start all over and they would only let me post ten things for the month. At that rate it will take me five years to sell my clothes. I've called twice and waited on hold for a 1/2 hour before giving up to raise my selling limit - does anyone know if I'm wasting my time? And may I add...they make some fabulously hideous clothes for big gals. I've been a good girl and haven't weighed myself all week, but I might tomorrow to see if I'm on track to get to the magical 250 by next week. |
Up a little this morning at 267.8 (was 267.4 yesterday morn) but It can't be a gain. I did great yesterday.
I hope we all do great today! |
Sue If nothing else a punching bag might be a fun release lol
Punk- Yay for fitting into clothes from regular stores! They ARE alot less expensive on average. Have you considered methods other than ebay? like craigslist or donating to goodwill etc. The second you get no money up front which bites but you can write it off on your taxes which can help sometimes :) Only It can't possibly be a gain unless youve been doing pretty badly, so ignore it! maybe it is a small bump in water before a woosh, I've had that happen to me before. Yesterday I did good, went to the gym and stayed at my calories. This morning I was down to 255.8 (-1.2) Hooray! |
Why can't they build a wagon with bigger sides? I fell off again. I'm not going to weigh myself until tomorrow however. Hopefully I didn't gain too much. Got back on track yesterday. I wanted to share a new recipe I found. Cucumber subs. Basically you replace the sub bun with an english cucumber than you have taken the seeds out of. I had mind with light laughin cow cheese and turkey slices. The whole thing was only 235 calories and filled up right up. Even my dh loved it.

Ainslie - that's a great idea...I'm forever trying to get my husband to eat healthier and he loves sandwiches!
pnkrckpixikat - Yay for 255!!! I already donated a ton of stuff to Goodwill - the stuff I'm trying to sell now is all 22-26 stuff that is too big for me and less than two years old. I have three large totes that I need to sell...the deal I made with my husband is that I can use any money I earn on eBay to my more transition clothes. I thought about Craigslist, but it lacks some of the anonymity that I like about eBay. I made fifty bucks on the 10 things I've sold so far, I just need them to increase it a little so I can sell faster. Only - my weight goes up and down by a few ounces here and there everyday - I'm sure you will rock that scale at weigh in! I weighed myself this morning - it had 248.8 on the scale...I'm not sure that I trust that. I'm going to wait another week before doing an "official" weigh in. |
OH PUNK!!!! really 240's OH HAZAAAA and SHAZAAAMM and :woohoo: Take it take it take it! Oh wow! I am soooo darn happy for you! Gosh the 260-250 didn't last long for you! You are our model Flying Girl! :D Oh now I have another reason to push these last few lbs outta the door... I need to follow you to the 240's I AM! I AM COMMITED!
I am down to 252 FINALLY a movement ! 240's are in my site line now! AINSLIE... you are just toooooo funny.. I love that first statement about having a wagon with bigger sides! LOLOLOL I don't like cucumbers,, but the idea looks good and awesome! Need to put that into the recipe section of low carb!!! :) Pnkrckpix! YEAH for you! down more than a lb! WooHoo! it works! Only Believe.... its just the extra hair spray or gel in your hair for that extra .4 lbs ! :) It will wash right out and take more with it! |
Ainslie- Cucumber Sub sounds good!
Congrats on the loss pnkrckpixikat 255 sounds so good. I can't wait to reach it and pass it. Yay punkrocksong you've reached the 240's! Just typing 240's is exciting! I will get there too but may be a while yet. Keep it up! I was 267.2 this morning. Looks like those 270's are gone forever. :) How's everyone else doing? |
Wannaskipandlaugh you will be in the 240's before you know it! You are all doing amazing! The chicks over in the 280's and 270's thread better hurry up or I will be one lonely little chick all by my lonesome.
oops had to fix numbers.. |
Well actually got on the scale today. Down to 260.0 ..yay...almost into the 250s. Maybe tomorrow.
|
Punkrocksong - Hooray! the 240s are clearly on the horizon! I'm not sure how you have the patience to wait a week lol I would be on the scale tomorrow and the next day verifying before calling it officially. Kudos to you for your patience, and hey maybe your patience will be rewarded with an even LOWER 240s number.
Sue - Hooray! the scale finally budged :) I'm sure now that it has things will pick up again. Only Believe Just keep at it and I'm sure itll feel like no time when you are seeing 255 or 240s, time passes no matter what right? If you can stick on plan the numbers will slide on down along with time. Ainslie The sandwich sounds like it would be really refreshing! I don't like cucumber though, I wonder how it would taste with zucchini... 260.0, I hate all numbers ending in 0.0, they seem to be taunting me lol but you said you fell off the wagon for a bit? you may have some slight water weight holding on. drink lots of fluids and maybe tomorrow you'll see the 250's :) Today I weighed in at 254.8 so down another pound, I'm not sure how much I trust my scale tho, it said 253.2, 255.8, 254.8, 255.8 than settled on 254.8. It has been doing this weird large jumping while measuring since I got it when my last scale broke so I don't think it is a low battery or something IDK do any of your scales jump around that much while measuring? the old one jumped around like 254.2 254.6 254.2 etc before settling, that seems like it would be more accurate. |
