:goodscaleI'm barely in the 260's So I thought I stick my head in and take a look see around at where I'm moving to... :mag:I see a great looking group of chicks who are about to fly the coop. :carrot::lol::woohoo:
Pretty nice place.. Once I sweep out all these pounds y'all have have dropped, I'll have plenty of room to drop mine.

Good Day all. The week is going good and strong, loving the clean eating lifestyle. Working out hard and I have done it before but been lifting weights which I think is really helping with the weight loss. The scale is down another 4 pounds! Weighing in at 252.6. I am expecting the weight loss to level off but love it right now. I soon will be heading over to the 240's maybe in another week.

Love your personality! :D Welcome to the group. Though we all wish we were moving on, we've managed to form a nice support group. Hope your lbs just melt away and you're right there with me in the moving out department.

I'm having a much better time currently. Refocusing on the things I can control and letting go of those that I can not. MUCH easier said than done for me, but I'm trying. I've successfully completed my first full weekend without a single cheat. (by cheat I mean throwing caution to the wind and piging out.) Hopefully my Friday weigh in shows it. I've lost 19.4 lbs now. Really want to bypass the 20 lb mark.

The last time I successfully lost weight (over a year ago) the lowest I got to was 251. I want to destroy that number this time! :sumo:

Hello all... Well I flushed 1.5 more of that water out and back to 253.5... But I have to get outta the 250s... I seem to be spending 6 weeks in each decade and I want to break that journey!.....

1.8 lbs. lost - which I suppose it could have been worse. I think I'm going to change my weigh in day to Friday so I might not do a weigh in this week and maybe by next Friday I can push myself in the 240's. I think 3 lbs. in over a week and a half is doable.

Great job everyone! Sue I am glad the water weight is finally moving. :)

It is my TOM and I gave in to the craving for a chicken biscuit from McDonald's. They are not even that good, but I find that I really crave meat as well as ice cream around this time. Need to be stronger. :lifter:

Sue - Glad that water weight is moving on out. Salt does really horrible things to my weight loss, but a lot of times I can't avoid it.

Only - Hopefully, you won't have to stay for very long!

Punk - congratulations on the loss!

Mara - I think my TOM is approaching. I'm not having my usually junky cravings so maybe I won't have such a hard time this month. Horrible how out bodies can work against us ;) My husband had Taco Bell nachos the other night (they were my favorite food for about 4 years) so I decided to try one, it didn't taste all that great anymore. I think I'll be fine never ordering them again now.


Who was walking last night at midnight?! This girl right here. I can't excuse my way out of getting my butt into shape. Hopefully everyone else is having a good day!

Hello all. I was 268 this morning :) I've lost 27 lbs since the end of May.
Lost 3.4 in May
13 in June
and 10.6 so far this month!
I went from eating a whole lot of junk foods every day to eating fruits and 100-110 calorie ice cream bars from aldis for snacks. (sometimes I eat 100 cal pack cookies or veggie straws)
I work on portion control on all my foods but sometimes splurge when I eat out with hubby and then it's right back to working on portion control.
I walk 30 minutes every day and since I do it in my house I really work out my arms and sometimes walk very fast, working up a sweat.
I sometimes figure up the calories of my food for the day, and it is between 1100 and 1500 usually though some days is more toward the lower or middle range. I'm not starving but I'm wondering if I'm losing too fast. I'm sure it's going to slow down as more weight comes off.
How are you all doing?

Hello everyone, I've never really been good at these chat threads but I'm gonna give it a shot!

So I just returned from a 5 week vacation to San Diego, for the first few weeks I was doing really well and seemed to continue losing my regain (got down to 202 in oct then regained to 259) I was in the high 240s but week 3 of 5 hit. 3 days at the fair and 3 family birthday parties and my will to stay on plan tanked (and HARD!)

I've been back almost a week and I think the sodium is mostly flushed out and weighed in this morning at 257.0.

My student access to the school gym is frozen since I am not doing summer classes so I just started a 30 day groupon to a local gym. And my DH and I take short walks and go swim at the complex pool. Those exercises don't do much for me yet because my DH is just barely starting to exercise but I figure any additional movement is better and I want to encourage him :)

Hopefully I can keep it up and get to know y'all!

Welcome to this thread PNK ! :) I hope that your water weight gain (I hope) goes away fast and then you can tell me how you did it!. But I also hope that your visit here (along with the rest of us) is short term! :)

I CANNOT GET PAST THIS WEIGHT... Argh argh argh and ARGH I am so frustrated!!!!!! I wish anger would burn calories LOL

SO cutting calories again under 1200 to see if that helps at all. Hate doing it.. but for short term it shouldn't hurt my body...

I hope that everyone else is going in the other direction (down) than me!!! :)
