So weight today was 258.4!! I was holding A LOT of water weight!! I am setting myself a goal of hitting 240's by the beginning of next month! I was that weight like 8 years ago! Crazy!!
Punk: I think you should get the coconut oil because even if you don't like cooking with it there are sooo many good used for it!! |

I ran/walked almost 5 miles yesterday and perhaps destroyed it all by eating at Hu Hot for lunch/dinner yesterday. I didn't eat any noodles, meat, or rice...but I fear I was perhaps too liberal with the sesame and garlic oils. My eating schedule was also thrown off because I ate lunch really late, and I ate too much, so I didn't eat any dinner. I am really starting to not like it when my husband is off work. He's big into "you can have just one" or "you've done really well so far, one meal isn't going to kill you" - it's starting to get on my nerves. He actually ate a large cone from Dairy Queen in front of me yesterday. Ugh...it's just so frustrating trying to deal with him sometimes. Welcome PositiveAttitude - I usually have more of one, I'm just in a rotten mood this morning. The fireworks were going until about 1 AM, and I have to be to work by 6 AM this morning. |

Also booked our holidays for next year to Rhodes. Cant wait, I absolutely love Greece, and especially Greek food haha. Its a whole year away but I am still excited :D Good luck everyone keep up the hard work :hug: |
Oh Punk.... that is so hard to have someone eat a (off plan) item in front of us... I hope that he just did not think and just wanted to enjoy that cone (yesterday) as a holiday treat.... He doesn't do those kind of things all the time in front of you?! Just wondering... Just think its a test and YOU PASSED LOLOLOL best thing I can think of for that situation! It doesn't sound like you were bad yesterday tho... I eat breakfast late and skip lunch.. meals just happen that way! :)

Just those inches and measuring are just a true example of how much you have changed and lost! I started right at the beginning and measure 1 time a month and always see changes... Tho different parts of the body change differenty each month... this month.. no waist.. but thighs went down LOLOLOLOL Erin... WOW good for you girl! Keep it going and charge up our batteries too! Well guys I am happy to say this morning my official weigh in was 249.4!!!! I am so proud of being able to get back on track this week and make things happen! I know my stay was not long, but I know I will be seeing all of you in the 240s thread very soon!

punkrocksong - I've had several late lunches that mess with dinner times. I just consider it a blessing in disguise since hopefully it will make up for extra calories somewhere. I probably wouldn't handle the hubby eating crap in front of me well. Honestly, I know I wouldn't. Thankfully mine is so encouraging and is convinced that he wants to eat healthy too. Maybe tell your hubby how discouraging that is. That you don't expect him to diet too, but you would appreciate him not throwing those temptations in your face. *hugs* Congrats on the 5 miles though! I'm not there yet ;) MissSMcC - Awesome job on the loss and the vaca! I would love to see Greece! And just think, you'll be a whole new you by then! Pink Hurricane - Congratulations!!! 240s already! I'm sorry if I was a little cantankerous earlier - it's just been a really long day. My husband is usually wonderful and supportive, he's just having a hard time adjusting to the "new" me. He's really good about not bringing the junk into the house, but I feel like I'm constantly negotiating with him about going out to eat. It's been a touchy subject to say the least of it. I don't think he gets that I have and office job - he has a very physical manual labor kind of job...I can't eat a pound of spaghetti without gaining weight. |

Punk I have been eating off my plan too :/ skipping meals sometimes. Not drinking as much water...yada, yada. Hopefully I can get into a routine again soon. 258 was a nice surprise but how long will I be lucky?? How about you and I start all over again come Sunday?? Lets get back to eating clean an healthy and getting enough water! I might make myself a chart. I will keep tabs on you next week girl! Lol |
welll WooHoo... I finally am going down alittle.... My weight loss chart shows that this would be a slow losing week.. BUT gonna kick that chart to the curb and LOSE MORE! I am determined to get to the 240's DETERMINED!!! By a week from Monday 15th... I am going to be there or SOONER! ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (tiger blood? lololololol)

Joining in here. :) I've been in the 260's since MARCH! I am done, done, done with spending months here. I'm changing up a lot to bust out of here to the 250's, so I'm really excited to see this group.

Positive Attitude - Well, the thing is...my husband isn't thin. He's 6'2 and has been bouncing between 280-290 for the past few months. And don't get me wrong...he lost almost 60 lbs in the past year or so...but that's because he switched jobs and has a physically demanding one now so he lost a lot of weight rather quickly. He's starting to gain it back, and he doesn't understand why...which to be frank...he has kind of horrendous eating habits. I've tried to be diplomatic about things, but it's put a little bit of a strain on us - because this is the first time in our 13 1/2 years together that I've actually been keeping track of what I put in my mouth.
Erin - that sounds like a great idea! I felt really lucky with this week's weigh in. I'm not sure how I lost 4 lbs. last week - I don't feel as if I had earned it considering I ate like garbage all weekend (for the "new" me - still ate better than the "old" me). At least I know I don't have anymore long weekends or days off until September...so I can have over a month and a half of saintly eating. Sue - you can do this! Hoping you beat me to the 240's! You deserve it. Tarragon - welcome!!! This is the perfect place to be if you want to get out of the 260's. We are all on a mission to get to the 240's! Yes, so by sheer luck I managed to get to 254.8 at yesterday morning's weigh in. I worked really hard through Thursday afternoon, but I didn't really stay on plan the second part of the week. And I was really slothful yesterday - laying on the couch for the better part of yesterday watching the 3rd season of Downton Abbey on Amazon and eating eggs benedict for breakfast and I had a grilled chicken breast from KFC with cole slaw and a biscuit for dinner...my no fast food streak has been broken. Not as bad as it could of been, but not feeling great about myself this morning. Hoping this week is better! |
Punk... You have done so well! It didn't sound like you had too many calories yesterday tho (even with KFC) so I bet if anything there might have been too much sodium.. but thats it... It sounded good to me! :) I know what you mean about Couch Days! They are so nice sometimes to have a mindless day and have something (TV) dictate your day.. Ahhhhh no decisions! :)
OK well we are in the lower 1/2 of the 250's This week or next.. what do you think? I hope that everyone else is just about there and had a really nice weekend! Its Monday I know.. but I hope today is full of laughs and fun for you! |
