I'm at 259.0 this morning. Yesterday it was 260.8 . I ate too many dill pickles on sunday....like the WHOLE jar. Mind you I did count the calories of each pickle (3). And the jar only had about 20 pickles. And I did stay within my cal. It was the salt. Oh the salt. Why do the tasty things do this to us. I suppose if I had to choose I'd rather the excess weight be from the water retention than from the fat of scarfing down a box of donuts or something. Think I will blame it on TOM.

266 today. lost only .2 in 3 weigh ins, so I've got to have a good drop coming.. I've just got to be patient.
Ainslie- My mom loves dill pickles and can eat a whole Jar in one day. I'd rather have water retention too. Much easier to flush out.

Ooh. NSV -I was able to put on my size 16 jeans from old navy AND zip and button them. I could sit down too. However I did have a HUGE muffin top and I took them off 10 min later but I did get into them. Can't wait til they fit comfortably. Especially since my current jeans tend to fall down. I have to make sure I have a free hand with them cause if I don't they will fall. I still like them cause they make me feel smaller. Does anyone else feel like this?

Definitely is the sodium and water retention with the tom. Drink up! Water is your friend and I bet by next week you will be way down!;)

That's the same way I felt like with my size 20 jeans. They were getting pretty baggy and I could slip them down without unbuttoning them, which was my sign for having to buy size 18s. They were a bit tight at first but it's a great feeling to feel them becoming looser as you lose weight. I kind of saw it as a bit of motivation, "I'm going to work to make these jeans fall down too!" That sounds so silly but I'm nearly there now! If only my darn hips will budge an inch or so and then I can fit into 16s, haha!

Down another pound to 261.2 this morning. I've lost a lot over the last few days. I figured I would gain because I ate an entire can of mixed nuts over the course of three days! That's nine servings! I did count every calorie on my phone app that I use and tried my best to stay in my calorie range. Being on low carb I do tend to go over fairly often, but as long as I keep my carbs low and mainly from vegetables it doesn't seem to be an issue.

I can't wait until I lose enough to get down another size. It seems like I really have to lose a LOT in order to go down a size. I can't wait to be out of the 20's. I haven't wore an 18 in so long I don't even remember when that was. I have friends who, even at the same weight and approximately same height, can wear 16's and 18's. I guess it all depends on your body shape. I've always had large thighs and a big butt :)

pnkrckpixikat 07-23-2013 12:02 PM

ainslie yay for the 250s though! just drink lots of water to take care of that sodium. and congrats on the nsv! I dont think my thighs will let my 16s anywhere near fit. by the time jeans fit in my thighs i need a belt for my waist :(

only believe sounds like you are ready for a woosh of some sort, keep on track and drink lots of water and wait on that slide from the scale! :)

Mandy Hooray, another pound gone! keep it up!

I weighed in the same as yesterday, I think the water weight loss is definitely coming to an end :( according to my tracker on mfp i weighed 244 on june 20th so i gained 10 pounds in a month, but it was a month of eating out, fair food, and family birthdays so I guess I can believe it. Now down to the nitty gritty, I've lost it once I'll lose it again!

Nagazim 07-23-2013 10:45 PM

Congratulations Sue!

As of Friday I was at 255 and then my TOM hit but I was a good girl. I'm really hoping to budge that number by this Friday. I have to hurry, so many of my friends are moving out of this thread! Lol! I saw some friends Saturday and very randomly someone said, "you may not like talking about it but man you've lost weight!" I normally feel uncomfortable with praise but DH was there and started saying how awesome I'm doing and how proud he is. It made me feel like a million bucks!

My brand new computer's motherboard died so I haven't been around. I'm gonna try to stay active through my phone until I can get the cpu fixed.

Hope everyone has an awesome Wednesday!

Mara 07-23-2013 11:22 PM
