Just did my first outside run and for heavier people, yes it is a lot easier than the treadmill! The biggest difference for me is air cooling. I sweated nowhere near as much. Yes, the incline did slow me down a bit but I still managed to break my fastest mile record in 9 minutes 59 seconds.

Did my second outside run again today and it was even better than yesterday! I also broke my fastest mile record again, now in 9 minutes 45 seconds.

Had Day 1 of Orientation for my new job so I did 20 minutes of aerobics with weights this morning then a short jog-walk when I got home. Will do the same tomorrow & Thursday.

Had a big dinner out last night so woke up early and decided to push the run today! And it worked. I did my longest run ever (2.5 miles) in 25 minutes, 12 seconds and broke my fastest mile again in 9 minutes 11 seconds. I might be signing up for a 5k soon if I can get to 3 miles.
Legs are sore now though and my knee.
