sluggerbean: so glad you finished and did well on your finals! You've been doing a lot more walk/jogs, 90 sec intervals is a great way to do it. I hope that when I get lower in weight my knees will allow me to do some walk/jog intervals. And 16 minutes of jogging, that's awesome!

Thanks, kayin!! I have been walking steadily for over a year now. I waited to do the walk-jogs until I thought my knees could handle it; and they are doing beautifully ~ no pain at all!!!
Next week or the week after I am going to up it to 2 minutes jogging-1 minute walking intervals. Boy, is it humid out there this morning!! But it is ok because that means there is moisture in the air and with the drought we are having it means we could get some much needed rain!!

Goal: Average >12,000 steps per day over the week Sunday: 1hr 30min walk, 11,000 steps Monday: 45 min walk, 6,200 steps Tuesday: 3hr 40 min walk, 26,600 steps Wednesday: 1hr walk, 7,500 steps Going to try and get a big walk in tomorrow as it's going to be sunny! |

Argh. I am stuck at the airport as my flight has been cancelled and I haven't made it to the gym at the hotel yet today. I am busting to run. I hope I get to my destination hotel this afternoon so I can get a run in! I am going to make this work. I packed my gym kit in my carry on so if my bags do not arrive, I'll still be good. But smelly. More later... |
