Scary time this morning as I had an illegal alien following me during the workout. Spooked me enough to call the sheriff's office!! :yikes: Good thing I keep track of my workouts through an app on my phone.

05/02: 3.35 miles 40:55 walk-jog with 13 total minutes of jogging (seven 60 second intervals; four 90 second intervals)
05/03: 3.48 miles 40:56 walk-jog with eleven 90-second intervals for a total of 16 minutes of jogging

I ripped it up today as well despite a sore knee. Had best take a rest day tomorrow though.

5/15 - 3.1km in 19 minutes 40 seconds at 9.3km/h with a sprint finish.
5/16 - 3.0km in 19 minutes 40 seconds at 9.1km/h with a sprint finish.
5/17 - 3.0km in 19 minutes 40 seconds at 9.2km/h with a spint finish.

May try the track on Sunday instead of the treadmill. My legs feel like iron!

Ian: My legs can't take treadmills either, I have to walk outside (which I like, except in the winter)

Thursday: 3hr 30 min walking, 25,000 steps
Friday: 3hr 15 min walking, 25,000 steps

I have had a few days off. My legs are hurting! I will probably take Monday off as well and do weights instead, ready to run again on Tuesday! But we'll see. Maybe I'll push her a little tomorrow and see what she can do! I like taking my legs out for a spin.

New week, new challenges. I've decided that towards the end of the week I will begin transitioning to 2 minute jog-1 minute walk intervals so that I can be doing those consistently starting next week. But today I stayed with the 90-second intervals. If I can stop eating crap & going over on calories, I might just break this plateau I am on!

Good on ya!! Shouldn't take long...and don't beat yourself up over 2 pounds. I dunno about you guys but I can gain 2 lbs while blow drying my hair ha ha

I always wanted to run but I just can't do it unless something large and scary is chasing me...and my hubby won't do it *ba dum cha!* hahah

Started doing some 2 minute jogs in the walk-jog today...OMG!! I thought I was ready for it! I did 3 separate 2-minute jogs: one in the middle of the walk, one in the last half, and the last interval. I will do so again tomorrow, but I am thinking that I may have to really gradually work up to having each jogging interval last 2 minutes.

Very humid out this morning!! I upped the intervals & survived!!! :carrot: Now I am trying to decide how to proceed for Friday & Saturday. I really think I am going to stick with my original plan for next week to do all 2-minute jog/1-minute walk intervals, especially after today. :chin: I will know for sure after Saturday's workout.
