This morning I weighed 257.6. That's up from yesterday but still less than my official weigh in last Sunday so I won't complain.

Today I am taking a break from the gym and will enjoy a rest day.

I am jumping with joy . I am down 2lbs. So total lost so far 16lbs in 2 weeks. Its a start but I have 89 more to go. I was getting a tad disappointing. Getting up every morning reminds me of when we were trying to get pregnant. I would wake up every morning to pee on a stick . Better now all I have to do is step on a scale.

Diana- Thank you again. I made sure my calories were at least 1300 calories last night. I had bought a 100 calorie ice cream sandwich for myself and my family. I had that and it brought me up to goal. The problem was it was so good I wanted another one . I was good and abstained. I will try harder to make my goal.

Iamonadiet- Welcome.

Ciao- Glad you had a great run. Have fun.

Healthymewannbe- Have a wonderful rest day.

Down 0.8 pounds to 292 on the dot. 10 pounds gone! I expect it's gonna keep slowing down to a 'sane' pace of loss now. Can't wait though, 'cos (hopefully) it'll all be fat from here on out.

Grats on everyone's success!

I ended July at 269.2 and then went on vacation to visit family. I ate like crap but tried to not eat a lot and I walked a lot. I'm back in town now and am back on plan! I still lost about a lb while I was gone, which is shocking. I really expected the scale to go up quite a bit. But I'll take it!!

I would really like to be down to 262 by the end of the month, which will be a total of 25 lbs. lost.

STARTING: 269.2
10 - 268.2
11 - 267 (that's 20 lbs. lost so far!)
12 - 265.6 (-3.6 for month)

13 - 265.6
14 - 265.8
15 - 268 (went over calories yesterday with queso and margaritas !!)
16 - 270
17 - 268 (back on plan yesterday)
18 - 266.6
19- 265.2 (-4 for the month)

20 - 264.8
21 - 265.4 (salted peanuts last night)
22 - 265.4 (was really hoping to see 264 again)
23 - 266 (I'm not sure what is going)
24 - 265.6 (was NOT on plan yesterday!)
25 - 264.8 (back on plan)
26 - 265.4 (.2 gain, -3.8 for month)

27 - 267 (bad day yesterday. But this is a new week and I am back on plan and will stay on plan!)
28 - 265.6
29 - 264.8 (that's nice to see again)
30 - 265.8
31 - 264.8 (-4.4 for the month)

A friend just sent me an email with a link to a short video clip. I thought it was really cute. What is our reward for working out? http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=yEH4Yum4nN4

Lishar, good for you to resist the second ice cream sandwich. Mind over matter.

Congratulations everyone on your progress, let's keep it going!

The worst of TOM is over so I'm back to regular weigh-ins. This morning it's 250.6, three pounds away from the lowest weight I reached in June before things went a bit haywire and four pounds down from where I was at the end of July.

Well I am 249.5lbs again. I was not really surprised since I lost 2 yesterday. Not going to the gym today. I will take my youngest daughter and our dog for a long walk. I wore them out last time LOL.

My oldest is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and on the demonstration team for her school. Our town is having a street fair and she will be performing all afternoon. She is so excited. She will be there so it's just me and the little one today . My DH works nights. I will get some walking done looking around. I just need to get used to saying "NO I am not buying that". My 5 year old is a little consumer. She wants me to buy her everything.

Devnet- wow you just keep loosing. Great job.

Texas Yankee- glad you had a nice suprise back from vacation. Eating out on vacation and all the temptations would be hard. Great job. The walking did not hurt. That would be my next hurdle. I went out to eat and that was stressful.

Diana you seem to go down each day. Btw what scale do you have? It reads by tenths of a pound?

Martine - thanks I had another one last night but had some yummy cherries instead when I was done because yet again I wanted more ? Woohoo 4 pounds lost wtg girl.

ciao how was your run with your new outfit? Congrats on DH getting below 200.

Lishar I am actually getting rid of some water weight right now (or hope so). I had a sodium gain this week. I have been battling an allergic reaction this month, too, which causes me to gain water weight. Also, if that's not enough, my thyroid has been out of whack, so my weight has been on the higher side. The Endo changed my meds last month. I'm hoping things will get back to normal, soon (whatever normal is ) This is the scale that I have: http://www.tanita.com/en/hd351/ I have probably had it 10-15 years. I had to go with a specialty scale originally because I was close to 400 pounds at the time. Most scales don't weigh that high.

ETA: Also, my plan for maintenance has been different than what a lot of people recommend. I slowly lose a few pounds and then I am able to splurge on special occasions, holidays, vacation, etc. I will gain a couple of pounds and repeat the cycle. I have never been able to maintain any weight loss. I have been doing it this way since May 2011, and it has worked so far.

Diana, that was a cute video. As trite as it sounds, my reward for working out is feeling better. I have a variety of exercises that I enjoy doing, and I like that feeling of accomplishment when I'm done.

I've had an uneven couple of days. A cricket has gotten into my house and is ruining my sleep - it sounds like someone is blowing a whistle, right by my ear! I keep moving my mattress around and it keeps following me - it's like being stalked. My bug-hunting cat Sadie and I keep trying to find it, but no luck so far - even when I feel like it must be right in front on me. So I'm tired and cranky and have been eating too much.

But I'm still under 137, so maybe I can get to 135 this month.

Let's all keep up the good work!
