Hello!

I'm down 12 pounds for July! I'm only .3 pounds away from my end of July mini-mini goal, so hopefully I will hit it tomorrow!

Once again I fell asleep while writing personals last night - lol. So they were posted this morning back on the July thread.

MeliZ, Chantelle, Allison, and Kwigg!

Kwigg - You can right-click on any users name and select "find other posts" (something like that), so to find my original WI post I come into the forum, go to my most recent post, and click on my own name Much easier that way than trying to go through the thread to find the post!

OK, I really have to get going to work. Excited for a new month and hopefully a new decade (which, ssshhh, would be in ONEderland sshhh )!

This looks like just the blog I need. Rejoined 3FCs on 7/28 as 210. Starting Aug at 205.6. Goal for August: get below 200. No weight lost today, although I think this is my digestive system adjusting to the low-carb diet!

Morning! I'm up .6 to 207.2 this morning. You may be wondering how one can weigh more in the morning than they did in the evening...the answer my friend is SODIUM. Well, nothing to do but move on.

Rennie - I can't change the thread name because I didn't start this one, but I'm not even sure though that Jeri can change it now though.

Not sure what to do today, it's hot now, but calling for thunderstorms later, so maybe bowling. I'd love to go to a movie today (I'm a movie lover) but we were at the drive in the other night and saw The Smurfs and Zookeeper so I'm not sure there are kids movies left to see.

I'm up .6 today to 169. Angie, I'd prefer we had twin losses though . TOM has been playing peek-a-boo with me for over a week, I just love PCOS. I figure that is the cause. That's ok, I'm just going to channel Ona and keep I'm off to the gym for weights and zumba and then home for lunch and P90X Legs, back, and abs. by the end of today I will have done 400-500 ab exercises, hello soreness!

Good Morning Everyone

Kwigg I go back to my original post because I keep a thread of my own going so I copy and paste it there at the end . I post it with all of my comments and compliments daily in a new post on here also

LGW 220 is my daughters birthday and I cried the first time I saw it on the scale and like you I vow to never ever see that number again You can tell us any and everything you want ... we always listen. Your meals sound good BTW, healthy ...

Roxy love your goals and YOU know you have them in the bag ... a piece of cake for you Oh my goodness you are a workout Queen.

Lindy good job on the .8 down great way to start the month off Nice loss for July

Nori :welcomw: Enjoy yourself best of luck to you while on vacation

Lin just edit your calender for only Wednesday dates ... we love you too, so glad you're sticking around ... don't weigh daily it's fine Do you have your outfit/dress for the wedding?

MadameZ you're not far from 159 you can do it

Allison how are you liking Curves? Do they do Zumba at yours?

Hi Chantelle

Angie I thought I'd ask since we always have the best titles. You know last night I stepped on the scale and it said 180.6. I thought but Diana I couldn't resist the frosted flakes ... oh man they are so good I know that's not funny but ... gotta laugh sometimes We are going bowling today. I got an email from the bowling alley saying free bowling for the kids, so I signed up, still gotta pay for the shoes though . Have fun Angie

Jami

Vixsin send some of that focus juice my way please thanks in advance

MeliZ

LOL Diana I found that .2 that you lost LOL. have a great day

Hi Beck

Hi Vladadog good to see you

Future good job on the 1.2 gone, what a great way to start the month Oh my goodness, that is a great lost for the month YOU GO GIRL Also if you go to Quick Links at the top of the page, a drop down menu will appear, click on subscribed threads and each thread that I post in comes up. That's how I find where I've posted

haggis Wow 4.4lbs down from 7/28 to today, you're doing great

Hi ilbnej

Time2Get

Hi goal4agirl I fell off too, we'll do better this month

Ok as I said the frosted flakes got the best of me last evening and I saw 180.6 on the scale before bed . so even though I have a .2 gain this morning it beats the heck out of 180 so I'll take it. So far today is on plan and I hope to keep it that way. ONE day at a time.

See you all later, have a great OP day

Default catching up from July thread

Mandy 8.6lbs gone is very good for the month. I'm glad you didn't throw in the towel. Everyday we learn something new, just take it in stride And I have pancakes every weekend with regular syrup Saturday I ate a flaxseed meal pancake because I had that huge zucchini/squash/onion omelet and yesterday I only had two pieces/squares off the kids plates. I think with me it's the syrup that I crave.

Thanks Future for your comment to me on the July thread it means a lot Glad you finally got your blizzard

Angie LOL I picked up the box this morning and put it back down, SO FAR SO GOOD .

For those of you that eat the Fiber One brownies they are on sale at Target 2 for $5 that price is way better than Walmart (that always sells out anyway). I bought a box of the peanut butter kind. I don't care for them but I'll eat it when I want peanut butter and see if it can kick that craving .

time to get ready before I change my mind

April 2011 - Lost 2.2 lbs
May 2011 - Lost 10 lbs
June 2011 - Lost 6.7 lbs
July 2011 - Lost 6.2 lbs
August 2011 goal - 249.7 (-10 lbs)!!

July 31: 259.7
1: 259.9 (+0.2)

The last week in July was quite a disappointment for me. It's the first time since I started this journey, that the daily fluctuations really got to me. The numbers were all over the place and I honestly had no explanation as to why. Usually, if I gained, I was able to tie it to some mis-step in previous days. I thought it was sodium but then I never saw a whoosh soooo...who the heck knows. Anyway, my comittment was wavering and I very nearly talked myself out of going to the gym this morning because of my "poor me" attitude. I shook it off though and climed back up on that horse.

My theme music this month is that little whistle you hear in western movies when the good guy and the bad guy face off and stare each other down in the middle of a dirt and tumbleweed ladden town.

IT'S ON!!

Vix - Oh, it's brrrung! Let's do this!!

Diana -- Sounds like August will pass by quickly too with you being so busy at work.

Beck -- As always, you threw down some fantastic numbers! EXCELLENT WORK!!

FutureThoughts -- You had an amazing July woman! SPECTACULAR work! You are on the express train to ONEderland baby!!

Haggis -- Good luck getting to ONEderland this month. I personally think that's an incredibly reasonable goal and that you'll not only get there but surpass it!

Angie -- Boo on the .6. that you and Roxy not only have twin losses but twin WHOOSHES!! I LOVE the drive-ins! We even go in the winter time and sometimes in the rain. It's SO much fun!!

Roxy -- You are an amazing workout maniac! LOVE IT!!

Lindy -- CONGRATS on finding that new low in July! I'm certain you'll see another new low at the end of this month as well!

Matilda -- Getting to 225 is a challenging but reasonable goal. You CAN do it!!

Rennie/Angie -- We definitely need a nickname for sodium!

MeliZ, Vladadog, Jen, GoalGirl, Time2Get, Jeri --

Hey ladies. Just a quick one for me, it's been busy busy these days and I haven't had much time for personals, but I'm thinking of you all

I ended July with a gain, horrible when there's a long weekend at the end of it, but it was an amazing weekend with great friends and lots of food and wine/beer involved. Went to a baseball game yesterday to watch one of my favourite childhood players get his number retired. I was so emotional, and what a day!

Anyhoos, August is starting off for me at 204.1, some of which is water and sodium (ballpark food is NOT healthy and I did not plan well). My goals this month are to make sure I'm getting my workouts in and to try at least 3 new healthy types of food (spaghetti squash, quinoa and I haven't picked a third yet). This is huge for me though because as all of my friends know, I'm an incredibly picky eater and trying new foods is sometimes the most difficult thing for me. But I can and will do it!

311.4 this morning! I think I may be figuring out how to eat (finally) it has only taken me 3 weeks. Joined my fitnesspal to track my calories and I think what I was doing wrong the first 2 weeks is not eating enough calories! Someone of my size needs 1700 cal (or more if working out) to lose 2 lbs a week. Turns out, most days I was barely at 1,200. I notice when I up my calories (of course by choosing healthy things) the weight comes off again quickly. I'm going to try to eat most of my allotted calories this week and see how it goes! Maybe it just takes some time for me to figure out what my body needs!

love - I am absolutely enjoying my curves workout! Yes, they have Zumba and I am hooked! I work out at curves 5-6 days a week and 2 of those days are Zumba Circuit days! It is so much fun! The time flies by! Also, I've been noticing big changes in my body shape. I am due to be measured next week so I will report back with inches!

Hope everyone has a great monday! Thank you all for being so welcoming! I am excited to be here!
