alrighty everyone, i'm here. checking in.

reporting an up today, but not a big one. 0.2lbs to 275.8 but i'm not gonna stress it. why? TMI - no poo today yet, so that's easy enough to fix. and also, after i have little gains i tend to have a whoosh. like a pound or so, like my body needs to gear up to let go of the weight. don't know how that works, but it's a pattern i've noticed.

it also means that i managed to not go overboard with my 3 day weekend and overeat like i tend to do when i've got time off. staring at leftover candy and a huge bin of cashews. so i'll take it!

everyone have a good day today!

fitkristi- thanks! That's what I'm going to do - just try to ignore it and stick with the plan rather than get frustrated and give up (which I sometimes want to do lol)

April 2011 - Lost 2.2 pounds

April 30: 282.6
1: 280.0 (-2.6)
2: 278.9 (-1.1) TOTAL LOST -3.7

Down 1.1 this morning! Yay! Started my daily weigh-ins Sunday and will do my "official" weigh-in on Friday mornings. Woke up feeling great this morning - but mostly because I decided to sleep in! I've already made plans to hit the gym and swim laps after work though so I can meet my goal of working out 6 days/week.

Angie -- Hearing you talk about quilting is making me get the bug. I haven't made a quilt since I was in high school. My mom had saved a bunch of jeans so she could make a denim quilt but never got around to it. I think I just might have to see if she still has all that stuff. Sounds like fun! Great job hopping on that treadmill when you got home! LOVE the stuff about the T.V....kids are so freaking funny!

Rennie -- Next week will definitely be better! Heavy TOMs are the WORST!!! I LOVED the advice Angie gave you. Keep checking in until your head catches up with your heart...perfect!

Mandy -- What GREAT gifts! It's getting so close....are you just dying?!? Great job staying OP over the weekend! You are doing AMAZING!

Chantelle --

FitKristi -- Good job on checking the bad feelings about your goal weight. You have done/are doing FANTASTIC!

Rhonda -- Good luck on tweaking your plan. Sounds like you're planning ahead well so even if you have some bumps I'm confident you'll recover quickly.

Eclipse -- Yay! 130lbs!!

Matilda -- Great job having such an aggressive goal this month. You'll never know what you're capable of unless you try, right? Good luck!

Rainbowgirl -- Yuck! I COMPLETELY know how you feel. I gained almost 7lbs last week and had no idea why. You'll start heading back in the right direction in no time.

Thaisccs -- Congrats on losing 50lbs! YAY!!!

Mare -- woo hoo!!!

Default Personals :)

Roxy take care of yourself with all those warnings! You'll be in my thoughts.

star I didn't get to saying this before, but holy ideal weight range! Congratulations lady, that's a huge accomplishment.

mandy glad to hear your enjoyed the bridal shower. Very sweet (no pun intended) of your mom to not make your brownies and I love your gifts, very neat ideas.

Diana yep, still smoke free. 7.5 months now, which I find amazing and such an accomplishment. But then it also gets me down because in that 7.5 months, I've also yo-yo'd with the same weight, when I could have been at my goal. Oh well, I've recommitted and hopefully I'll get there soon.

JamiSue congrats on finishing the half marathon. That's fabulous!

Angie Cameron is the most adorable thing ever! Are you with Rogers? I heard a lot of people were having issues yesterday.

Chantelle and thaisccs welcome to the group!

Kristi glad you got out of that funk, because that's an amazing accomplishment!

Rhonda we'll all be here to support you during your transition, but always good to have a plan in place!

Jeri 130 lbs is an amazing feat! Congratulations!

Rennie great job on your 3.8! Glad you're feeling renewed. I wish I could get there too

Gotta get back to work, so to Meh, Gale, Rainbow, Matilda, Arctic Mama, Aimee, Eliana, Bullet and anyone else I missed

I was fortunate to stay the same despite the sodium laden dinner last night, but I did 4k when we got home, so I hope that helped. I ate out for lunch again today, but with another 3k under my belt I ended the day 250 calories under plan. Hopefully I will dodge yet another sodium bullet. Tomorrow is a work at home day, so great on plan food is on the agenda for me.

Ophelia - Hope to see you reach the 220's tomorrow.

Diana Talk to you at the end of your busy week!

Kristi - Welcome back! Where are you for sizes now? Is there a target size you have in mind?

Rhonda -- Hope the dentist appt went okay for you. Luckily for DS our TV was only out of commission for about 10 minutes while I figured out which buttons he had pressed

Kukkie -- Way to get in lots of exercise! Yes, we're with Rogers -- so maybe that was the issue!

Bulletproof -- Congrats on your weigh in today

Roxy -- Good job on the loss and the spring cleaning! I have the same problem with floors and the dog. About the quilting, I took a 'learn to quilt in a day' class about 10 years ago and I was hooked. I haven't done much sewing since Cameron was born, but I felt like it was time.

Jeri -- Congratulations on your loss today and your fabulous overall loss!

Rennie -- Wowowwowow whoosh! Whatever you did yesterday, keep on doing it!

Mare -- Good job on the last 4 weeks!!

Mandy -- Congratulations on managing your long weekend well

Jamisue -- Yup, I'm collecting old jeans from everyone now...lol. I was ticked off that I had to go buy some at a thrift shop to get me started. Congratulations on your great start to May!

Angie - Thanks for the welcome! I'm in size 12 for pants, but fit into one pair of 10's (miracle!) - my exercise clothing pants are Larges, and some mediums. I fit into larges for shirts, with the occasional medium thrown in. It's just MIND boggling to me that I'm out of plus sizes!
