I'm up a pound to 178.6. Grrrr TOM!!! I didn't make it to the gym or anything yesterday. Once the cramps started I could barely move. I am hoping today will be better.

April 30th: 240.6

1: 244.4
2: 241.6
3: 242.4

This irritated me. I weighed 241.8 right before I went to bed last night and managed to be UP this morning when I got up. Oh well. I was within my calories yesterday and exercised for 3.5 hours total... something will give before too long.

Hi Friends! I dropped a pound overnight. Gotta love those crazy scales!
I'm running behind on work because of my dental appointment yesterday. No time for personals. Ladies, get your vitamin D levels checked! Mine was crazy low and I had no clue until I decided to ask my doctor to test me last year. Now, I have issues with my teeth and the beginning stages of bone degeneration.

Thanks to each of you for your encouragement about me switching off of Medifast. I'm 47, in menopause and have a very slow metabolism. A lot of diets simply don't work on my body. I'm hoping that Southbeach principles will work for me again.

Have a great on-plan day.

Thanks for each of you

I am so in this month too!!!! My official loss for April was 3 lbs. I am in it to win it in May!!!!

Hi Everyone!!

WOW! Have I (and this thread!!)been busy! I hope you all have been doing well.

the weekend was great. Busy as usual.

Today my scale rewarded me with a huge whoosh down of 2.6 lbs down to 195.2!!! I don't think it will stick around tomorrow but it's here today! I think my random gains all last week were due to ovulation. I think now that I had the Mirena, I am becoming one of those who gains at ovulation and then again around TOM's arrival....Super.

I've had 2 MAJOR NSV's!!! I am officially NO LONGER OBESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never thought I would be so happy to say that I am OVERWEIGHT and I am proud!!!!!!

And yesterday, I bought a treadmill!!!! I can't wait to pick it up!! I can't wait to have it in my house and be able to stare at it longingly as I walk by it to do laundry. LOL

All that makes for a VERY happy girl today!!!!!!

Wow have I ever missed a lot!
No internet, No scale for the last little while.
So, I don't know what I weigh right now . . . . I think i've gone up a bit, I can 'feel' it, weird as that sounds.

BUT . . . . I have restarted my weight lifitng, restarted my treadmill and restarting C25K this week!!
I've been eating healthy foods, cooking healthier and making sure I'm eating enough and not under eating from stress.
Jack has started a new daycare and it actually ends up freeing up about 35 minutes for me each morning as it's so so close. Kind of upset that I dropped him off this morning and got "Ok, love you bye mama" and off to the toys he went - but I know that's a really great thing.
Things with S, well they are what they are, we are civil the few times we speak and that's good enough.

big breath . . . here we go

Vix - CONGRATS!!!!! I love the 'in it to win it' motto for the month, i'm right there with ya!! Im glad to be able to jump back on here, the positive vibe is infectious Awesome on the treadmill

GirlyGirl - You've got the determination to find what works for you, good on ya!! Keep at it and you'll find it for sure

Kukkie - Rock it OUT with that whoosh!! Way to go!

Angie - Quilting I never got into, my mother makes beautiful quilts and has always made for me and my brother. I still cherish them I'll stick to making my jewelry, I'm too much of an instant gratification person lol.

Love - Good for you shaving time off your mile, those seconds may seem small but they build up!

FitKristi - .5 is great! Glad to see you back, your one year is coming up and look how much you've accomplished . . . amazing.

Matilda - Throw down with those pounds and reach your goal this month, i know you can do it!!

Aimee - Day off, oh what a joy that would be, at least your getting some nice weather instead of rain for it. Hows the month been treating ya all 3 days of it lol - no more headaches for you I hope!

Welcome to everyone new, sorry I know I've missed a LOT of people, I'll be back a little later but should probably do some kind of work while I'm at my desk

Hi everyone! I'm up .6 today, but I know it's a sodium gain. Looking forward to having a whoosh as the restaurant food leaves me. I've already logged 7km for May and plan on adding a few more today. 19 days until I leave for Vegas!

Kristi -- That must be so awesome! I was in the mall last weekend and realized I haven't mall-shopped in ages. I've been online shopping mostly because I feel a bit embarrassed about shopping in non-plus sized stores...like they might ask me to leave because I'm still on the border. Congrats on your .5 today!

Rennie -- Sounds like you had a great day yesterday, congratulations!

Aimee -- Congrats on your .4, enjoy your day off today

Starbrite

Diana

Roxy -- Sorry about the gain. Do you find that exercise helps with your cramps? It has been working for me -- I knew TOM was coming because of breast tenderness and general irritability, but the cramps did not come in advance this time, and were not even too back during for a change.

Kiyoshima -- Congrats on your 1.5 today! Where are you moving?

Kukkie -- Whoosh! Good job!!

Gale -- When that happens to me (lower at night than the next morning) it's normally because of sodium...could that be the case for you?

Rhonda - Congrats on your 1lb loss today!

Vixsin -- Whoosh for you too! Awesome! You're going to love the convenience of having the treadmill. I use it often after DS is in bed or while he's vegged out watching a movie for the umpteenth millionth time.

Matilda -- Love the attitude, if you're doing the right things those little gains mean nothing, it will be gone soon and take a few friends with it!

Coondocks -- Well I am an instant gratification person too...I always choose simple patterns, and I machine quilt, so if all things are on my side I can finish a top of a quilt in a day or two. Then I only have to work up the energy to finish the bottom (the boring part)...lol. I also make beaded lanyards to hold security passes for work, or the things that hold your glasses around your neck -- I make those when I want to see something started and finished in an hour or two That was a great daycare find for you and it sounds like Jack is happy there too, great all around! Good luck with your C25K. I've dropped out, I couldn't move on to week 4, but I've been doing a lot more fast walking.

Ona -- Miss you!

April 2011 - Lost 2.2 pounds (Ready to kick butt in May!)

April 30: 282.6
1: 280.0 (-2.6)
2: 278.9 (-1.1)
3: 276.0 (-2.9) TOTAL LOST -6.6

Woke up with a major headache this morning but am able to ignore it for now thanks to the GREAT news the Wii man gave me this morning! Finally down to where I was last week before my HUGE and CRAZY UP WHOOSH! I didn't work out yesterday and haven't worked out yet today. I was still pretty sore yesterday from the 1/2 marathon but am definitely feeling better today. I'm going to stop want to swim laps on my home today - so I can hopefully continue to see losses on the scale.

I'm fantasing about the 260's, right now. I haven't been in the 260's in almost four years! Here's hoping I get back there soon!

Kiyoshima -- I know what you mean about missing exercise. I'm a day off my routine and I can tell the difference! Good for you for focusing on getting back on track! Congrats on the loss this morning too!

Reptogirl -- So sorry to hear that you're still not feeling great but at least it is getting better. My husband has been sick for two weeks now and hasn't been to the gym because he feels so awful. Sending you and hoping you get better soon.

Angie -- You are the model of balancing food indulgences with excellent exercise! Great job!!

Kristi -- Wow! Out of plus sizes...how fantastic! I can't wait for there to no longer be a 2 in front of the size on my clothes! Congrats on the loss this morning!

Rennie -- Congrats on the time you made for the mile! Being an avid walker myself, I happen to think that's a GRRRREAT time! Great job on the water drinking too! I still haven't mastered that one!

Aimee -- You'll be loving all that OT when payday comes! Glad to hear you'll have some time for R&R soon and congrats on the loss!

Lizz -- SO LONG 240's! They're are going to be in your rear view in no time!

Diana -- GOOD MORNING!!

FitGirly -- So sorry to hear about your cramps! I have brutal menstrual cramps as well and truly sympathize. I hope they (and that pesky pound) take their leave soon!

Kukkie -- Go Kukkie! Go Kukkie! Hooray on the whoossshh!!

Gale -- You exercise 3.5 hours yesterday?!? Holy smokes! That fake weight gain will be gone for sure!

Rhonda -- Thanks for the tip on Vit D. I never think about that stuff and had no idea they could test for it.

Vixsin -- I'm you girl! I was only down 2.2 in April so me and May have got some beef to settle! CONGRATULATIONS on being overweight! That is an amazing success!

Matilda -- Great attitude! I'm new to daily weighing but don't let the sale take away the success of having an OP day!

Coondocks -- Welcome back! It's always bitter sweet when our little ones run off to play when we drop them off. Good for them but always a little tough for us. Congratulations on starting your C25k plan again! I had read you and others talking about that and final decided to figure out what it was. The plan sounds amazing! I think I'll give it a try in a month or two myself.

Coondocks There you are! Thank you I appreciate you saying that especially since you all workout like crazy Aw they do make you wanna cry sometimes (our little ones). I remember when our oldest first when to day care she looked at me looked at the other kids and the toys, and said, "bye bye mommy see you later" I said no hug ... she didn't even turn around. I drove to work with tears rolling down my face. She laughs when I tell that story now

Mandy for a whoosh

Where is ONA ?????

Well my scale liked me another morning I am down 0.8 to 176.8. Didn't set any goals this month yet so here they are ...

1. get out of the 170's
2. be able to do 2 full miles without stopping (treadmill/track)
3. plan weekend meals and take them with me
4. come on here to talk to you all if I GET READY to do any OFF PLAN eating
5. keep accountable

Keep in MY mind, tell myself daily THIS IS DOABLE, THIS IS DOABLE
