Love -- Good for you. My first marriage was a similar situation. Once I gave him the boot, I realized one day that I hadn't had to worry about anything for a while and started laughing. Used to be that I was always on edge, waiting for something bad to happen - because inevitably it always would. My ex was ADDICTED to chaos so it surrounded our lives 24-7. What a relief it was to have peace and quiet - as much as you can get with a one year old anyway.

No time for personals tonight, but I still wanted to say hi to everyone and check-in!

DH is leaving for training on the East Coast tonight, and he'll be gone for almost 2 months, so I'll be helping him pack everything and spending some time with him before he heads out. We went out to eat at Olive Garden tonight, so I halved everything to try to minimize any damage to my calorie count. We'll see how it goes in the morning. Also going to try not snacking out of boredom and/or loneliness over the next week or so before I fly out to California to visit with some family while he's gone.

Anyways, I've got to run! Oh, and before I forget...my weigh-in this morning was 229.6, so finally popped out of the 30s. Praying I stay under tomorrow, but it doesn't seem likely. Going to go to Zumba this weekend to burn off some of these extra calories and keep myself preoccupied!

Default Thanks!

Thanks for all the welcomes

Rainbow, try not to focus on the number -if you're following your plan its probably just our crazy female hormones causing an up. Hoping you have a whoosh coming!

Like thaisccs, I'm editing my original calendar :-)

I can't do pts of personals tonight cause I'm doing from my phone and its tricky -lol. Thanks all for the warm welcomes and have a good night!!

Ohhhh I'm so afraid for my whoosh...when I weighed in tonight I was back up at 217 -- I couldn't have gained 7lbs today right? Oh well, lots of water and crossing my fingers for a good night. Ack, just remembered I have to get up extra early tomorrow too! Darn it. I could get on the treadmill, but I'm just really bushed tonight.

Roxy -- Ouch, sorry about the gain today!

Rennie -- Thanks I think you're doing plenty of exercise, don't discredit yourself!

Ona -- Thank you! Woohoo on the dress! I love the clear straps for the bras, isn't that a great idea!? I need a new strapless bra too, but I'll wait a bit to make sure it will fit me once I've lost a bit more. Darnit, you're making me want to get back on the treadmill...maybe just 1-2km before bed.

Thaisccs -- Yep, that's how I do it too...I update the original post each day and then just post today's result along with my other thoughts and personals.

Jamisue -- You bet I'll be trying ot dream about another whoosh tonight...lol!

Ophelia -- Good job on getting into the 220's! Sorry to hear you'll be missing your DH for a couple of months We'll do our best to keep you busy here!

I'm going to try and catch up from today.. might take me days to fully catch up though

Coondocks - dare I say summer is here? It's pretty sunny out right now! Glad to see you back, you sound in good spirits If you are bored on Saturday you should stop by the store, we are having an event! It might be good, or it might be REALLY bad, not too sure yet!

starbrite - you are right, 9 pounds is nothing compared to the 136 you've already lost!

Diana - I don't know how you are dealing with these allergies so well, I'd be going crazy!! Great news today! Congrats!!

love2b - .2 is nothing Great whoosh the other day though!!

Ona - great job with maintenance! Did you find a dress?

ladynredd - Cancun sounds amazing!!

Rhonda - I would think it might be easier to know what you are doing day in and day out, for me it would bring comfort. Sounds like it's a good decision for you now, and I'm sure as more weight comes off you'll make the transition.

Kukkie - what a fabulous set up!! I started to watch Biggest Loser last night but got distracted by phone calls. And I love makeover week!! I'm sure the weight is just water weight, it'll be gone in no time

Gale - your body is probably adjusting to everything, how long has it been since you last were breast feeding?

Vixsin - what a great whoosh!! Have fun on your coffee date, we want details!

Jamisue- have you seriously lost over 6 pounds this month so far?? OMG! Nice job, forget the .2 today.

bulletproof - great wi today!

Angie - WOW, I've never seen such a huge whoosh before! I hope you don't get any jumps tomorrow, enjoy it today!! Next stop?? ONEDERLAND! I might need some diet tips from you after that whoosh, while I won't make it to onederland before my trip, but the 240's would be nice

Roxy - How's the weather thing going? Everything calming down? When might you get the kids? Thats very exciting news!!

Sorry if I missed anyone, I'm sure I did..

As for my WI? Down 1.8 this morning. I had an early dinner yesterday, and then slept WAY in this morning, so I'm sure it's from that. Kind of fun to see 255.7 this morning though!! Angie - I SO feel you on the fear of a jump tomorrow, I might avoid the scale..

Aimee -- Thanks! Yes, I'm motivated by that fear though, so I just did 2.5k on the treadmill -- I hope it works! I would so so so love to get to ONEderland soon and not take 2 months to lose the next two pounds I'm crossing one of everything I"ve got for you to get to the 240's for your trip!

I so appreciate the encouragement here today and it got me up off my butt and on the treadmill, so if I bounce tomorrow at least I'll know that I did all I could, on plan eating, on plan exercise -- I've done my part!

hello everyone! Just checking in.
Thanks to all of you who gave me welcomes! I'm excited to be here, and I don't think I've ever been so motivated! The community here is great.
In daily weigh-in news, the battery in my scale has chosen today to die, I'm hoping to get a new one tomorrow..
Good luck everyone!

1: 213.4 (-.6) TOM Calories: 1479 net Excercise: Walk 4k
2: 213.4 (0) Calories: 1166 net Excercise: Walk 3.1k
3: 214.0 (+.6) Calories: 998 net Excercise: Walk 4k
4: 209.8 (-4.2) Calories: 1175 net Excercise: Walk 2.5k
5: 214.4 (+4.6) *sigh*

Okay, I bounced, uhhh...I bounced back the whole thing and then some. Up 4.6 (what!?) to 214.4 -- maybe yesterday was really just a dream afterall! I'm struggling to remember if I forgot to take my water pill last night, but I'm fairly sure I did. I've never exercised so much, and I'm on plan for eating. The big drop down and the big gain again are both so strange (although it was easier to live with the big drop down!) My leg muscles are tight, but not painful, I do have a sinus infection but don't think that would have such a dramatic effect. I think I will try going back to no-carb for a few days to see if that gets things moving.

I'm posting my weigh ins for may along with my calories and exercise -- I show my net calories, so that's what's left after the exercise.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I didn't sleep well last night at all. I think it was because I had some coffee yesterday afternoon.

Calories for yesterday: 1440

Weigh In: 147.8

No Change

Starbrite Thank you.

Angie You may be retaining water, especially if you feel tight. Are you taking meds for the sinus infection? I am still feeling swollen around my midsection. My panties even feel weird. I know I am holding on to some water from that reaction I had.
