OnaMi, I haven't thought about celebrating any of the mini mile stones with rewards. I do know that when I am finally at goal weight I will be renewing my vows again in the dress that I have always wanted. I was looking on line the other day and I can't seem to find it but I will.

Thanks Love2b and OnaMi... I'm just frustrated, I lost less than 2 lbs last month and thought I was doing well this month, but doesn't look like it so far, so I'm just a bit frustrated.. It'll pass, I know.

Love2b - I did find Fat Secret, but it just doesn't want to download for me... Not sure why!

Ok I'm too upset to pull up the chart, I'm up 2.2lbs and the better half is also up 2.2lbs.

I'm not upset about that, I'm upset that our power was out all night and all morning. It just came back on. The men have been working on it since 9am outside my window. Dripping in sweat all morning, I probably sweat out those 2.2lbs ha!

I worked out very hard, doing 3 workouts plus ab work, so I am sure my gain is due to retaining water for the muscles I built. There is no rhyme or reason to why the better half gained as he ate healthy all day and walked 3 miles.

Such is life. I have never in my life appreciated a/c more than I do now.

redsox33 Yikes! I couldn't imagine not having A/C in the heat we are having this year. I'm so glad the power is back on for you.

Diana, thank you! I had everything shut, the blinds, curtains, as to not let in any heat. It was brutal and I was down to 3 ice cubes in the freezer!

Kukkie when something doesn't do right for me I do that famous battery pull to refresh. You can also press and hold ALT, while pressing L, G, L, G, it will give you the event log, press the menu key go down to clear log and clear the information out, it should make things move a lot smoother. Then go back and try to download fatsecret. BB are funny. I use to stay at T-Mobile when I had their service now I have Sprint which drives me crazy but at least now I can fix it when it acts up And Kukkie I feel the same way you do. It seems like every time I see a new low the scale brings back 3 or 4 pounds. But I am dealing with it better each time, with the help of you and everyone else here. It is very frustrating especially when you know you are doing every thing you are supposed to do. Yes it will pass

Redsox it is probably water and glad your a/c is fixed.

Love2b I consider myself a bit of a BB junkie but I had noooo idea about that event log thing! Thanks! Fatsecret is downloading now, but I'll have to wait until this evening to actually play with it and learn how it works.

On a different note, despite being completely blah this morning about that pesky gain, I just had a complete NSV! Work has been kind of hectic because all of us 4th floor people are moving down to the 3rd floor of our office - we have the lease on both floors and they're connected inside the office as well as by the building. Anyway, I moved down to the 3rd a couple weeks ago and others who used to sit in my area upstairs are starting to move down now. So I just bumped into a colleague of mine and she says "Have you been losing weight, because it certainly looks like it... I can tell in your face!!!" That made me feel much better... Inches, but not pounds, that's what I need to remember - there are other ways to measure yourself on this journey!

You're doing so well, I don't think you will. You'll be saying hello to 169 real soon. I'm happy for you. Those P------ are not good for the mind at all. I don't want to see another one
that it will not happen in the month of August for us

Good Morning, Everyone! I hope you have a great day!

I am very happy with my weigh in, although I didn't expect it. Tomorrow night is my hair appointment (cut & color). It's also the day that we go to my favorite Japanese restaurant. Can you already hear the echoes of a rant coming? I think my calories are OK when we eat there. I think the main issue is with the sodium. I *think* I am going to try something different tomorrow. I am planning on having some yogurt for lunch and maybe midafternoon. I looked at the sodium in the yogurt vs. what I normally eat for lunch. The yogurt meal will be less sodium and save me about 100 calories. I should stay full because of the protein. We will see how my experiment goes.

Calories for yesterday: 1625

Weigh In: 205.2

Down: .8
