Thursday, June 29, 2007 - POP - 4th day in a row!! but the evil weekend lies ahead
breakfast-2 slices Nature's own fibre bread, 2 oz turkey lunchmeat, 1T lite mayo (1S, 1/2P, 1F) (made this for lunch and looked so good, I just ate it for breakfast!)
snack - lite and coffee w/1T FFFV creamer (Lite, 1 condiment)
Ok, so this is my 2nd day in a row of OP. I cannot truly call it POP, as I gave the last of my fruit to my kids.......I ate cucumbers in place of two of my fruits.......and I am ok with that.......but don't count me in for a POP day. I am just proud of myself, so I am posting my menu.......also, I think it is good to post menus........I just have never taken the time. I bought some Kashi TLC bars at Target last night.....they are pretty close to lites......and I thought I'd try them. So, I did Purple with lites:
B: Shredded wheat, 1/2 c. milk--1S, 1/2D
S: lite, orange--lite, 1F
L: cucumbers, 3 T. PB, 1/2 slice regular WW bread, 1/2 c. milk--F, 1P, 1S, 1/2 D
B. 1/2 c cream of wheat, 3/4 c pineapple, 100g yogurt
MA. la lite bar 7 almonds
L. 1 c black beans, 1 oz lite cheese , 1 c watermellon
MP. la lite bar
D. 4oz steak, ceasar salad lite dressing
E. 12 small strawberries
But in my defense, it's been totally crazy at work the last two days, and while I've given myself license to eat, I took out moved and replaced 300 comforters and 1000 packages of sheets. So in theory, I've been burning way too many calories to even function on Red with Maintenance.
Wednesday 6/27

Ok, so far, so good.....so I am going to begin my menu post and edit it later.

C'mon everybody........we've got spirit, yes we do, we've got spirit, how 'bout you !!!!! I made it, I did it, I was POP today.....whooohooooo!!!

D - 6 oz lean ground turkey, 2/3 C pasta, tomatoe sauce, mushrooms, onions, celery sticks (1.5P, 2S, 2V)

I still feel a little yucky but am on the mend. I have not been OP but am getting back on the band wagon now that I actually feel like eating something besides soup and crackers.

Joni - Thanks for the kind words! I am excited to see everyone get pumped up and really take on the challenge. I think we should always have some sort of challenge going on, maybe we can rotate sponsorship between the regulars? What cha think?
I am starting to feel much better, unfortunately my scale is up 3lbs...eeeek! Probably from all the "salt" soup I have been eating. Time to get back in the saddle.
