Oh ok. Have you noticed like an excessive amount of skin? Haha it's hard for me to explain what I'm talking about I feel like an idiot trying to explain haha.

Hello all..Megsy to put you at ease, this program claims to help you lose weight without all the saggy skin. I know so far I've lost 47lbs and no saggy skin. Now if you had saggy skin before the program with a lot of yoyo then that may remain, but the fast weightloss from this program will not result in saggy skin, bc the skin as an organ responds to the program causing the skin to retract and pull tight - this is what I am told by the counselor.

I will say this, I have been struggling this cycle, not so much with food, but mentally - I am tired of doing the program. I am bored!! I decided to make May/June my last months - simply cannot afford it with hubby being out of work - but I am forcing and stretching the budget to continue until June bc I want to do maintenance come July. This is the only thing that works!! So between now and then I am hoping I can lose another 30lbs. Just fighting to stay focused!! I try to remind myself and celebrate the loss and I love shopping in my closet again. I just want it off already and I am learning to eat when hungry and not gorge myself.

Thank you so much. I was definitely worried about that. I mean I've been on it for two days not really feeling hungry but I can definitely see how it gets boring. Do you use any of the recipes from the websites? I'm not gunna do the beads until I'm closer to goal just because I'm broke and don't have the money to pay for them.

Thats great!! Awesome! The hunger pangs are the worst part for me. It took me about 3-4 days to see results. After that, it's been about a pound a day.

I also don't want to get out of shape and not be able to take the spin class by waiting anymore.
Well done, Kerrioh!
Psychologically, the gym and I aren't friends . Maybe when I get a little smaller (and my kids get a little bigger) we will reunite. I have so much respect for anyone who steps foot in a gym!

Megsy,
I know what you mean. I worried about the same thing. I'm young as well, and don't want saggy skin. I haven't been on the diet long enough to tell you with any certainty. I have been moisturizing and drinking lots of water, which will help your skin's elasticity.

Mom2b,
First, props to you for sticking with it. We struggled with the decision whether or not to pay for it. Hubs is in his last semester of law school and we are really skimping in the budget. It was hard for me to say 'yes' to a purchase for me, but I'm glad I did. We moms are usually last on the list .
I'm having one of those days too. I'm bored with the food. On veggie days, I'm at a loss to know what to cook. I've been eating roasted fennel for the last six or eight days. Sick of it. I'm making the butternut squash fries right now (almost lost a finger, twice trying to cut it).
Tomorrow, I'm going to try roasted cauliflower.

I was going to the gym between 4 and 5 nights a week. I was also trying to count calories. Something was not working.. trying to make a break away with this. I don't eat bad food but apparently I was not counting correctly. I don't mind the gym but I have now been away from it 30 days and that is not good for me mentally.

I need the gym for stress and I have been afraid to go this past month...but really I have felt okay so time to make the move!!!

Mom I try to buy the precut butternut squash. Can't have that much and its too hard to cut.

Default Butternut Squash

I am so happy this was mentioned, bc I bought a squash last week (I hope it is still safe to eat). Sitting on my counter..oh well, will attempt to roast it tonight and season it up with some honey, nutmeg and cinnamon. I hope it is tasty. My friend's husband makes butternut squash and he can cook....taste just like sweet potato..lord only knows how much honey he puts in..but he was on program too and assured me no butter goes in..but just to tasty not to have butter. We shall see.

I will continue to fight the fight and keep my focus. I do light exercise, more stretching, pilates and calistenics...no major cardio yet. But once I hit the 170s I think I will pick up my game..for now I am happy to be settling into the 180s..I tell you year ago..I didn't think this was possible.

I joined WeightWatchers for the upteenth time and for about 12 weeks I only lost 9lbs..then I decided to do the bead program in September and my first 12 days I lost 13lbs..I knew I found the plan for me; so I gotta stick this out, bc where can I go and lose almost 50lbs without working out...I'm not starving myself, I can't eat crap, not eating much food, my food is limited, however, but certainly not starving - so for the next 60 days I will ride it out and be sporting a 8/10 when all is said and done.

To think I started this in 9/2010 at 18W/20W and now I can wear 12/14 ... so I am extremely happy with my progress. Saying no to the junk food and temptations are hard, however, it is worth it in the end when you see the progress. Not to mention, you lose a shoe size too!! LOL!

Does anyone know any ways to make milk days more interesting? I'm on my first milk days and just drinking milk stinks.
