Okay, Im in for the challenge. Just tell me what I have to do, being that today is my first day and all.

Is goal for Turkey day? Or end of November?

Im gonna say goal weight is 268 for me. Thats 10 pounds.

I've done the 30DS for my third day now. It's getting easier but by no means is it not kicking my butt

Dizzy - you can jump right in! The sign ups have ended, but you are more then welcome to participate in any of the ,mini-challenges and the long haul (Turkey Day) as well!

Well I weighed in yesterday and it was okay .6 pounds lost which after last weekend hey all is good, but today (sometimes I weigh daily but always on friday before the weekend) anyways got up weighed this morning and my scale show 170.00 (yesterday it was 174.4) mind you I got off then back on like 3 times and 2 of the three showed 169.8, so then I left to get clothes ready and went back and it said 170.0 so I am going to have to go weigh on another scale??? Do you think that all the eating right and drinking lots of water and exercising this week could all show up overnight? Last weekend like I said was bad lots of alcohol and food... But I have been so much better about food choices this week. I am excited but think something is wrong with my scale, it is not even a year old and haven't had any problems yet but could be now!

Well It is FRIDAY !!!!! Yeah even though we are having 45+ mile an hour winds with little snow and more to come, the weekend is still around the corner

The bubble has been popped!!! I moved the scale and now it is showing me 175.0 so I am thinking my scale needs replaced so today while I am out and about I will be buying a new one. Darn it I was kind of excited but then it was like how the heck could that really happen ?? Got on the scale again and it is showing 175.0 so there I have it, Thanks everyone for listening

I would say that would count as a weight in if that is what the scale said. You should be excited Congrats and keep working hard!!


Well today is my weigh in day and I only lost .1 from last week. I guess that is better then a gain, so i'm satisfied. I've been working out this week which I'm sure is helping. I am now at 190/500 for the PARTY!!

I am definitly in for the 2nd mini challenge.

Great job on getting out of your weight groups jeannep, Stephi, modcat44, and fauxtini! Keep up the fantastic work!

FB, Dixiemae, and Princess - just don't leave before then I get to the plantation!

Reda - I know if it were me & my scale... I wouldn't question a thing Maybe it was water weight?? Again, I'd just be happy it wasn't going up so I'd just let it be. Next time you weigh in maybe it'll be the same or show even less. Perhaps seeing it at that number will inspire you to do really good this upcoming week.

Congrats Jeniansmom! That's a stellar loss. Give me some of that magic stuff.

Sorry about the head trip your scale gave you Reda. That blows! My scale is funky too. Sometimes I actually worry that I haven't really lost 125 pounds, but that's silly because I look entirely different.

FB's version of 30DS update Last night I did my shoulders at the gym. I'm experimenting with breaking down my strength training further and just doing 1 body part at a time. I'll see how it works. It took about 40 minutes, afterward I did the elliptical and stairstepper.

When I got home my husband was fiddling with the dumbbells and I amazed him by demonstrating a move I tried. I didn't know why he was so shocked until I saw I used 35# dumbbells to demonstrate something.
