Thanks for all the encouragement, girls!

I'm feeling a little better today. I'm going to keep truckin and hope sometime gives eventually. Maybe that 30 day shred is the kick in the *** I need. I'm leaving tonight for Alabama. I'm getting excited to see my girls (well 2 out of 3 of them!) again. Hopefully I can use Sunshine's computer to post while I'm gone.

Heather ~ That happens to me ALOT! Once, I was at work and I had my lil brother with me. This guy asked if he was my son. I was 20 and my bro was 13 at the time!

Mini-Challenge #3

Alrighty ladies! Here it is the third mini-challenge! This mini-challenge will run from now until Thursday November 27th (the end of the Thanksgiving challenge)!

So....whats the challenge this time???


It's an "ON PLAN" challenge!

It's about this time in a challenge (about 3 weeks in) that we all get relaxed and start to slip! So here is the idea if you wanna play:

#1. Tell us what your weight is now AND tell us what you would like to weigh on the last day of this challenge (Thursday 11/27) BE REALISTIC there is only two weeks left in the challenge.

#2. Tell us your water intake goals....how much will you consume per day?

#3. Tell us what your food plan is? Are you gonna count points, calories, or what?

#4. Tell us what your exercise goals will be over the next few weeks.

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do! (example - I will not reward myself with food. I will reward myself with a new pair of earrings. OR I will not make excuses to miss my work outs OR I will not binge on foods that are bad for me...so forth and so on)


If you can stay on plan (meet all your goals) until Thursday the 27th - Your a winner


When you PM Eny your final weigh in, please include if you were or were not on plan for the full 2 weeks of this challenge.

Also keep us updated....no need to tell us exactly how many calories per day or ounces of water, etc....just say....I was OP today...or I wasn't OP today (if your not OP you can go into detail....maybe we can offer some advice to what you are struggling with??!!)

I'm not really on a plan, I just try to eat 3-5 Servings of Fruit and Veggies a day, and to not over eat!!

Workout at least 5 days a week for 25-55 Minutes!!

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do!

I will not over eat and eat just because I want to!!

I am going for 80oz a day

Count calories: good clean food only

#4. Tell us what your exercise goals will be over the next few weeks.
Treadmill 30 min. every morning and mix of wii fit and strength training and mat work every night (30 min)

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do!

I will not make excuses for NOT doing exercising and I will try to reduce time spent on scale. (Can't yet make it without it.)

Just wanted to add: I am out of the 230s...

It feels good!!

People at work are finally starting to ask me if I have lost weight. They are surprised when I tell them 31 lbs. I am not sure if that is a compliment or not. Not worried though.

We can do it!! Two weeks left!! Let's rock it!!!

Hattie -

I've been so busy lately. I need a break!

I'm at 405/500 minutes to the Plantation!

Here's my answers:

#1. I currently weigh 285.4 and I hope I exceed my goal of 279.

#2. Water water water... I'm trying to drink more than the occasional sip, okay?

#3. I calorie "cycle". Today I have 1500 and tomorrow I have 1300. I also try to keep under 30g of fat, but today I'm already at 40 and I had planned on having some dark chocolate treat for dessert.

#4. Wii Fit everyday at the LEAST!

#5. I will try to cook more at home!

Hattie - I can't wait to be out of the 230's!!! I've been so close and then I let it all go...

30 minutes a day at least 3 times a week

I will NOT eat when I'm not hungry (just because food is there), and I will STOP eating when I'm satisfied (NOT STUFFED!)!

I am not a big water drinker so I would like to start out with 20 oz or my purple water bottle.

#3. Tell us what your food plan is? Are you gonna count points, calories, or what?

I have switched from Weight Watchers to South Beach Phase 2 so that I don't eat too much sugar or unhealthy carbs. I was just tested (A1C blood test) today for type 2 diabetes.

#4. Tell us what your exercise goals will be over the next few weeks.

I really want to try the c25k program to see if it will actually make running any easier.

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do!
I am not going to give up if I have a bad day!

Hello all! Today I got in 35 min of running and 2 hrs of linedancing, so thats 155 min today. That puts me at 525/500. Yay! PAR-TAY!
This is a great time to start the 3rd mini challenge. (I actually have been doing an op challenge this week. So far, so good.
I am also celebrating that for the first time since this challenge, I am down! Yay! It seems to have hit all at once. I am down 2.6 from my starting weight and 3.4 from last week! wow! *doing a little dance*

Mini Challenge # 3

#1. Tell us what your weight is now AND tell us what you would like to weigh on the last day of this challenge.

CW: 191.6 Thanksgiving Day : 187.6

#2. Tell us your water intake goals....how much will you consume per day?

3 liters

#3. Tell us what your food plan is? Are you gonna count points, calories, or what?

around 1600 cal with 1 free meal each week.

#4. Tell us what your exercise goals will be over the next few weeks.

3 days a week of c25k and 2 days a week of circuits with my Personal Trainer

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do!

I will not miss my WW weigh in and I will walk to and from all my classes. (They are VERY far)

Hi all, I'm still around. I have just been super busy with no time to post. I love reading the posts, they keep me motivated. This week I am down 2 lbs from last week. YEAH! I also hit 430/500 so almost to the plantation. Lets all keep going and finish this challenge strong.

MINI CHALLENGE #3

CW: 146.6.... Sticking with goal of 145

#2. Tell us your water intake goals....how much will you consume per day?

At Least 48oz

#3. Tell us what your food plan is? Are you gonna count points, calories, or what?

I try for around 1200 calories a day but I consider OP anything under 1400.

#4. Tell us what your exercise goals will be over the next few weeks.

Workout at least 5 days a week for 30 -60 Minutes

#5. Finally...tell us what you are NOT going to do!

I will not miss a scheduled workout during the rest of this challenge.
