Ok got through day 1 no bread!! and lots of water.. must of ended up drinking a gallon or more. but its easy at 95 degrees.. Back to work. lets see how today goes!! have a wonderful day!

Good morning, everyone!! Wow, it's the last day of May already!! GettinFit ~ will you be starting a June thread?

Well, I met my goal of at least WI at 174 (WI at 174.2 this morning). I saw 173 last week, so I am anxious to see that number again. I hope everyone has had a successful month whether it was in terms of losing weight or moving more!

WOW it's so exciting to see that we're all doing so good. Great job ladies

Emme - Yes I will start June's thread. I can't believe how fast May flew by. I'm glad you made it back to 174. My weight fluctuated over the weekend between 219-222. This morning I was 219. I'm thinking it's the heat along with sodium in some of the things I eat. I feel that I've had a successful month and will weigh myself tomorrow to see where I end up. I'm hoping to make it to 218 to close out May.

I did a Firm workout this morning before coming to work and I brought my workout clothes to go for a walk at Stone Mountain after work. I'm upping my exercise in hopes to hurry and get through the 2 teens.

I hope everyone has an awesome Tuesday!

GettinFit ~ Yes, the heat will really dehydrate you and your body will hold onto water, so I'm sure that's all it is. Thanks for starting the June thread!

my may challenges:

1. I would like to be at or below 270 at the end of May.
2. 15 days of working out in May (I know it's low, but I'll be getting married, going on my honeymoon, and helping my new husband move in this month)
3. I will check in daily, minus may 20th thru may 27th (wedding prep stuff + wedding + honeymoon)
4. 80oz/2.5L water (or more) per day!
5. 1600-1800 calories per day.

i think i did manage to meet all but the workout goals. my week or so off for the honeymoon exempted. after tonight, workout #14, i will be one workout short of my goal of 15. considering what a busy month it's been, i'll take that.

my weight goal was to be at or below 270, and i got down to 267.9 before my wedding. i had to check my weight today even though i said i wasn't gonna look at the scale, and i'm at 272.1 (down from the 274.6 i saw when i got back a few days ago), so the water is coming off. hopefully i see another whoosh tomorrow.
