Made every single one of my March goals....except my total weight. But 187 is not a bad number to end the month on

I had another good weigh-in this morning. I was hoping to get on here sooner and share, but oh well. WOO HOO...I reached my 25# mark!! I am WAY closer to my weight goal than I thought I'd be a week ago. I don't know what's going on with me the last few days, but I'm okay with it!

Nicki, that's wonderful! super job!

A big hello and a big to all of you. I didn't have time to write this morning as I was in a hurry to get to my parents house and stayed longer than I thought, just got in. Oh ladies, I am such a mush I am feeling a little sentimental about our final and last day here, it's been real! I am very proud of each and every one of us for sticking with it, as our dear Scarlet said.

It really has been such a pleasure in getting to know you all more and sharing our joys and hurdles....I hope to see you in the APril thread and continue together on this journey. I want to say a big thank you to you all because you all helped me to keep fighting , let's keep fighting!

Always remember that a few lbs. may mean one big loss down the road! Yeah sure, easy for me to say n ow ...I would break out in tears out of frustration in Jan. and Feb but in the end sticking with it wins!!! It just takes time to really see and realize our progress sometimes, that reality check and objective point of you is so so helpful and nice to have, you all rock

An idea of where I have been lately:

Oct. -9lbs.
Nov. -3lbs. (indulged on weekends)
Dec. +4 (maintained most of month, then went off all week on vaca.)
Jan. -2 (quit smoking Jan. 1 and started exercising 5-6 hrs. per week).
Feb. -4 (been op, exercising, darn scale is like moving mountains).
Mar. -6 (eureka! : ) I see progress! correction made on April 1, another lb. lost.

Total of 20 lbs. lost once the math is done and it sure took awhile but had I quit I would of gained over the winter, not be almost 20lbs. lighter!
Look at the 2 lb. loss, doubled the next month....progress again in March...every month getting better and those losses do add up over time........so to any of you who may be experiencing small losses, a gain, or no losses KEEP ON TRUCKING!

As for my weight, it was pretty much the same today, a little under but I will keep at the same number. Today is officially our last day and could sneak in tomorrows weigh day but TOM is looming and my tummy isn't feeling so hot so I doubt for a loss by tomorrow but I am very content because I see progess! Tell you what though ladies, if I saw a loss tomorrow and wanted to tag onto this months tally, I most defintely would! If it's a gain though, don't bother.......chuck it as fluid and let's move onto our new month.

I hope you reward yourself in some way, you too nicki, all of you ladies....for all of your successes this month, in one way or another.

girls!

Today I've just wanted to cry. Good and bad tears.

First, my power will be on Friday. One of my mama's co-workers, who has taken it upon herself to watch out for me since Mama is gone, is helping me pay the bill. Both her and Mama double teamed me and I have to get over the mortification and be happy.

TOM arrived this morning and I was in pain! Then Pullo almost gave me a heart attack. I had to switch his food so his tummy was hurting and he pooped in his kennel. Pullo is a oddly clean dog so he never poops in his kennel! I let him out, feed him, opened the window to air out the house and went to take a shower. I come out, calling for him, and couldn't find him anywhere! My apartment is only four rooms and the front door was locked so I was freaked. Then I heard my neighbor calling Pullo's name, I go to the kitchen, stick my head out the window, and see my dog standing on the edge of the damn roof! My neighbor had a ladder and was trying to get him down. Apparantly he jumped out the window onto the roof where my neighbors saw him. I can't tell you guys how scared I was! I had to put my Leonidas down because he was paralyzed and now my second puppy was standing on the edge of a freakin roof, he could have fallen and broke his neck or something!!! I called him like crazy and he just stood there, looking at me while wagging his tail. It took twenty minutes of coaxing for me to get him close enough to grab his collar and drag him back into the apartment. Damn dog. My friend Susie put it into perspective for me though. Pullo is a smart dog, he had to potty, he knew he wasn't allowed to do it in the house so he jumped out the window becuase that was the only way out. I guess it makes sense in a dog's mind.

I had my inital workout at Bally's this afternoon. Alot of pain, mostly in my feet.

Finally, a very, very sweet and generous 3FC friend has offered to rent a room in her house to me. It would save me alot of money and I can take Pullo with me. I have reservations, of course, cause I would hate to be a bother to her but I think we're going to talk it out. Of course, this means I will have to tell my landlady that I will not be taking the house she showed me but I'm trying to be responsble and logical. I love the house but I would be struggling in the beginning. I need to save up money! One of my goals for this year was to pay down my debt and renting that room will be the perfect opp to do it. You have to be responsible, Shari, responsible!

My god Shari! I was on the edge of my seat reading your post. I am already intense, hot blooded, and Greek! Don't do that to me! lol. Ohhhhhh whew! I am so glad your pully , pullo rather , is okay!!! Gee girl! Don't open the sliders or windows any more, Oh it would freak me out!!

Hope your feeling better, I get really sick during and before, TOM as well...sometimes it's real bad!

That sounds like a great offer lea, renting the apartment from the 3fc here, look into it sweetheart. As for buying a h ouse? Aw it's a headache girl, it's the american dream ....I know but a lot of bills and time and money, I think your thinking smart to downturn that offer right now (you are going through so many transitions right now, is it a good time to get a house?). Gee, and you even get to take pullo with you??? NOw that is a generous offer indeed! lol I am being a wiseguy, hope you know me enough by now to know I mean no offense, just joking and or trying to say ...that is a neat offer! Your right to look into it first though, no matter how good something sounds. Keep us posted... big hug lea
I don't think your being a bother, she offered, she made you the deal! That's really neat...and also so nice that she is also willing to take pullo! IT's true Lea, not many landlords will do that nowadays! keep in touch!

Shari what a story! My gosh, my heart would've been in my throat! I'm so glad it worked out okay with the pup. Also good news on the propect for a room to rent! Maybe this month will be a great turn around for you. I pray it is. You will rock April...see you over in that thread!

BTW: I guess everyone's done here, so my ending weight for March was 173.4 for a loss of 4.8 pounds. Not to my goal, but not too shabby at all. I am happy with it. I'm shooting for 6 again in March. Wish me luck!

I weighed in today at 172.4! I didn't lose the 10 lbs I originally wanted, but now that I've finally found what works I think April will be better. I lost 5.2 lbs this month and I'm happy with that. Congrats everyone on the losses. See ya'll in the April thread!

Congratulationsssssss ladies

Guess what? oh, I'm so excited! lol. I dropped another lb! It is so what I was shooting for but as of yesterday, given how I felt, I didn't think it would happen. I bet it's from from you all! Instead of putting the lb. toward the April challenge, I decided to drop it off here as yesterday was last day of the month. I'll just do a correction in my last post. Thanks again Lewisempire, those are quite the miles! wtg! MsPerception and zoochick, wtg on the losses too...I will see you all over in the other thread.
