I officially begin my job on Thursday! There were some obstacles I had to overcome first, and the last one will be finished tomorrow! I'm so nervous, but so excited to begin my career! So since tomorrow is my last day as a free woman, I will be meeting my boyfriend at his job for lunch. Oh ****, maybe I'll paint my nails too!

Insanity is still going well! Just started the second week yesterday, and I'm already down 3lbs, an inch from my waist, and half an inch from my hips! woo hoo!

Shauna: sorry you had to turn down the job, but it sounds like it was for the best. Good luck with the job hunt and the interviews!!

Congrats Sam! Exciting!! Nice to see someone local, do you live in the city? I'm out near KOP

I just left my desk job @ Vanguard to be a full time student in the fall. Getting my life & self together this summer. Scared I left something I could have made an OK career out of to be a student again.. but eh! I was miserable and I'm not getting any younger! The panic seems to have moved me in a good direction though.. I'm here!

Nice! I'm in Chesterbrook right next to Paoli but literally 5 minutes from the mall. Moved down here from Scranton almost 6 yrs ago but still don't know where I am much of the time

Hahah. I hear about Paoli all of the time on the news and when I used SEPTA trains to commute to my internship, but I wouldn't be able to tell you how to get there!

The roads are big and scary (and we're all horrible drivers), but you gotta branch on out there!!

sgregg that is very exciting about the new job! Good luck with the move! (edit: saw you didn't accept. That's okay! Good luck with the job hunt then. If it isn't right then it isn't right.)

val I'm sorry you felt that way about your outfit. I've been there before; totally stinks.

crazy good for you for throwing some of the junk food out!

samma good luck with the new job! Very exciting!!

I know I've been pretty quiet. This week has been SOOO long, and it's only Wednesday! Urk.
Monday was awful; my grammar class went the full 3 hours (can you imagine spending 3 hours covering only pronouns? So painful and dull) and I was up late cleaning my apartment.
Tuesday I had to wake up super early because of work.
But...Tuesday night I had plans with a guy. It's this guy I met months ago that I absolutely adore, but he doesn't live nearby. He made a last-minute trip up to my area to visit friends, and came to spend Tuesday with me. So even though I'm exhausted from waking up crazy early and then going to bed really really late (and waking up early again today)....I'm also walking on cloud nine from spending time with him. Wish I could see him again before he heads home.

Nothing exciting is going on the rest of the week besides work and class.
Kind of stinks: I agreed to babysit this Saturday night and then found out they actually need me at 4.30 (til at least 8)! The extra money is nice, but man....there goes a chunk of my Saturday...

Hey, I wanna chat too! :P

I'm super bored at work today, I just cant get my behind in gear to do any of the projects I set out to do. It's going to be one of those "look busy but don't do anything" kind of days.

My fiance and I are going to Vegas in August, we planned the trip almost a year ago (when we first moved in together) and I can't believe it's almost here! We're staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in a room with 2 glass walls so you can see the entire strip. It's exciting but also expensive. Our budget is so tight now that we literally have every penny accounted for in the next two months. The up side to this is that I can't buy junk food even if my willpower falters because there's no money to do so!

Other than that - juggling 3 jobs, a fitness plan, a diet and planning a wedding is **** on earth.

Hello all! I have had a crazy week. I work at a University and I am in charge of freshmen orientation so its been a crazy few weeks with preparing for them during the week and then having the orientations on the weekends. The upside is I am so busy it is hard to overeat! I also have found that every time I veer of plan I end up with an awful stomach ache. I had a gallbladder attack in Feb and I feel like since I have cut out all of the fat for the last month as soon as I eat it again my gallbladder freaks out. Which is great motivation however sometimes a higher fat content is unavoidable. I think a trip to the Dr.'s is in my future. On a bright note next week I have off for vacation (yayayaay) and I can hopefully get some wedding planning crap done!

Just started on IF again and really enjoying it. I enjoy the feeling of hunger knowing that I can have a full meal later on.

Also really excited to bring my bike back home from uni so I can start cycling to and from my summer job. It is a 10k cycle from my house to my job so it's a good 45min cycle which will really help up my exercise and is way cheaper than the train

Free exercise is the best kind...

Hey! It's good to see some conversation around here!

Samma
- woohoo! Job tomorrow!! Sending good vibes your way so you will have an awesome first day!!

Harpersi - What are you going to school for?

QB - 4 hrs isn't too bad...I'm sure it will fly by. What age are you babysitting?

Katbot - Vegas sounds like fun!! We are going to be staying at a Tunica casino for a couple of days next week. I'm excited because we are making it a family trip...taking the kids and all. It should be fun though. Anyway, enjoy your trip and take some pictures of the room!

lilkel - Ew...gallbladder trouble is not fun. My hubby had to get his taken out several years ago and he was NOT a happy camper. He was in so much pain before he had it removed. I would definitely get it checked out if it is causing you too much trouble.

TheMane - You are lucky to be able to ride your bike to work. We can't do it where I live. The roads are just too dangerous and the idiots around here would run you over before moving over...it has happened to several bikers, unfortunately.

As for me, I had another interview today. I'm not sure how it went. It was weird, really. The principal was just weird...haha! Anyway, I will find out soon enough if they want me for another interview. I really didn't feel any connection at the school so I don't know if it's the right place for me anyway. Now, I'm just praying for more interviews. Hopefully, schools will start calling this month. They have been quiet, it seems.

ballerina i hope everything went well on your date! obviously i still love my boyfriend to death, but nothing beats those butterflies in the beginning. awesome!

katbot i'm so excited for you!! i hope you have fun. it's nice to know i'm not the only crazy planning vacations a year in advance. i'm planning costa rica in december! eeee

lilkel i like keeping busy so that i can't focus on food, too. good luck with your wedding planning!

TheManeki i hear bike riding is really great for your butt? lol

sgregg fingers crossed for more interviews. don't rule out the school yet, the principal might just be socially awkward lol

no job start today human resources had to iron out some kinks...i wish they hadn't told me I was cleared to work. So my whole goal was to start this week, and now I have to wait until next week. rumble grumble...

Weight is back up 2 lbs, but im not taking any notice to it since I'm doing Insanity and already seeing results. It's hard not to care about the scale.

TheMane: Cycling is a great idea! Commute and exercise! Kill two birds with one stone!

Samma - well, pooey!! Does this mean you have to wait to start getting paid too?? That's frustrating.

We are having a lazy day today...well, not leaving the house, that is. Our highlight of the morning was taking a trip to the bank to make a deposit. My laundry is piling up so I'm going to work on that just as soon as Baby Girl allows it.

Shauna: yup. no pay until I start. I get paid weekly, so if I start on Monday, I won't get paid until the week after next week. Pooey indeed.

sammalamma aw, that sucks! Can you do anything fun this week.. like an extra free week or do you have other commitments?

sgregg Any word back on the interview? Good luck with the laundry.. I have quite the stack too haha

Quiet Ballerina How far away does the guy live? Any chance of getting closer? He sounds really sweet, I'm glad you got to spend some time with him anyway!

-----

sorry to everyone I've missed, I'm really tired and I always fall behind here.. hope you're all doing awesome!

I'm super bloated and I just realised it's probably from the probiotic I started taking yesterday.. I've been drinking so much water and it's not going away. Total preggo belly here. Euuughhhh. I'm up on the scales too.. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning.. At least I'll be in for a big whoosh at some point, that's the good thing!

Also I picked up some nice black Calvin Klein jeans in the second hand shop earlier for 2euro.. sweet deal. They say they're a size 6 so I assume it's US6.. I could pull them up (surprised I got them up) but I couldn't close them, so they're my new progress pants. I fit into the other ones.. yay.
