Word from my boss... looks like I need to be Bikini ready in a month!

I think I'm getting sent on a trip where I will basically be paid to be photographed in a bikini for a week. Yikes! That is definitely motivation to look hot ASAP!

quiet I’m going for a week! My sister and I are taking my mom for her 60th birthday. She knows were going away, but not where we’re going. And we’ve invited one of her best friends from the other side of the country to come along, which will definitely be a surprise to my mom if she’s there. I’m so happy you got to redo the quiz! That’s awesome news.

Quiet Ballerina Thanks for the welcome What is the class you're taking?

aka8941 Wow, am I reading that right? You can run 1.9mi in under 17 mins? That's amazing. How do you train?

torito ohmygosh. Mexico and beaches for a week?! Lucky you! It's so sweet of you and your sister to plan that for your mom!

themilesawaygirl I'm studying to be a court reporter. That quiz was part of my theory class, where we learn how to type short hand on the machines. I'm almost finished my first semester (1 final tonight and 1 tomorrow night)! But my next semester starts on Tuesday. Sigh. I'd better enjoy this 3 day weekend!

One thing I am SO excited about this weekend is a wine & food showcase in my area. I get unlimited tastings of all of the wines on the show floor (about 200 wines.....er, don't worry, I won't be trying them all!), a souvenir tasting glass and I get to go into any exhibits and seminars that I want.

...and of course, a 3 day weekend will be very nice. I have some boring stuff around the apt to do, but maybe I can knock most of it out Friday night so I can enjoy the rest of the weekend to relax, work out, and de-stress.

aka- you are a speed freak! awesome job.

the knee acted up a touch during tennis so I'm a little anxious that a half marathon in may is going be hopeless. I'm trying to use it to motivate me to get in the stupid pool. I love triathlons but I always have to drag myself to the pool, it soooo boring!

Just saw it, I'm on holiday hence the delay. If you know your weights for the previous weeks then feel free to enter them. If not, no worries, enter your weight this week into week 7 before Monday morning Colorado time or you'll end up getting moved again.

lol omg...I just copied that straight from my runkeeper app. I don't think that is right......I definitely don't run that fast.

May have been an app miscalculation.

My body is slowly getting bikini ready. My legs are my problem area - and they are SLOWLY but surely changing shape. After 24lbs, my legs are joining this weightloss party finally. Will take months still, but I am getting somewhere.

My mom says I've always had big legs (my upperbody is skinny, like.. really thin wrists, small boobs and all). She thinks they can't change the way I want them to. I don't know, the last time they were skinny was when I was pre-puberty. Ever since puberty they've been bigger than average. I think I need to go to atleast 112-115 to see them thinning.I am trying not to obsess over it and just go for my easy to be at weight of 128. Anything below that is gonna be win-win.

Anyone else here suffering from the big-legs-super-tiny-upperbody? People never believe me when I talk about my weight because of it.

philana - my friend has massive legs (I say that with a loving tone) and a tiny upper body. She said she got them from playing soccer. We were like the same size when we were like 15, and shared clothes, except pants because her legs couldn't fit into my pants haha.
I agree that not obsessing over it is a good idea. We all have that 'problem area' and it's usually the last to go

Hey. Hope everyone had a good week.

liliesinmycereal- OMG congrats on getting a loss in ^_^ Were you at a plateau for a bit?

aka8941- When I saw that first message about your running distance and time I was like D*mn....Completely envious...xD

philana- I do...my upper body is pretty much slimmed out and exactly how I want it. My thighs on the other hand are fighting to stay chubby 0.o I have thin wrist, big boobs, and an athletic built around the shoulders(broad)...My legs are toning up though from all the running. I can't see myself actually lowering my goal weight just because of my legs tho because I have a feeling they'll always be a bit bigger then whats considered normal...aww well

I weighed in at 186 today. I spent the past week and 1/2 upping my calories to 2000 trying to take a little minibreak from losing and focusing on weightloss. Didn't think I would lose and I think it may have been my excerise xD...Back on plan on Monday though
