July you're going down!!!
Hello everyone, I have started my training for my half marathon last Monday. I'm hoping with the training, I can knock some of this weight off. I trying to reach 220 by August 15th!!
I'm down 0.6 to 206.1 this morning. Tonight is the weekly date I have with my brother, with the meal that often has a bit too much sodium. The good news is that hubby comes home early from work, so I'm going to go to the gym before my brother comes over, and I'm going to decrease my portion size. Hopefully these will offset tonight's meal. I'm going to be chugging my water today too!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Rennie, yes he should be fine at about 6 weeks. At least that was the plan. Three weeks recovery and three weeks PT, then he should be able to go back to work. Funny thing is, he didn't have any one trauma that caused it, and it was bad. We really think it was the seat at his work. He has to make some decisions as to where to go from here work wise.
For now, I need to log my food and keep checking in here. I know that works for me. I have been thinking of getting an elliptical for the house. We pay for a gym membership, but I'm not quite ready to go there at the moment. Does anyone know what I mean? I would like to be at a lower weight before I go there.

I'm starting vacation tomorrow so my 3FC check-ins will be hit and miss as I'm setting a goal to be away from my computer as much as I can. However, I will be weighing daily and provide updates when I do check in. We still have half of July left so let's see what we all can do in that time
@imthegoddess: Prayers and good wishes to you and your husband. I completely understand where you are coming from regarding going to the gym. I was the same way; like there was some invisible requisite fitness level I needed to be before I darkened the door! Know what's even crazier? I probably paid a good 4-5 years of the membership before I reached such weight and started going regularly. Crazy
@SmallSteps: How are you feeling today?
@winning15: Isn't it nice to have that ticker?

Great job proactively trying to offset the dinner!

Way to go!! Man, 216 is a sentimental number for me - such a gateway to onederland in my mind!

Hugs to you.. I know the feeling. Battling the mindset is harder than the actual dieting and exercise in my opinion.

About the same. Forced myself out of bed and went to work today. Got my second B12 injection and a new dosage for my blood pressure medication since my blood pressure is still spiking. Thanks for thinking of me.
Smallsteps as your username suggests, small steps like forcing yourself out of bed is progress. I hope you are feeling a little less depressed soon. Just keep pushing! Marriedanangel Welcome! winning Grats on the ticker I can't wait to be able to use mine.
15: 271 - I am starting to feel lighter. This might be due to the fact that I've been eating ~1500 Calories a day and working out as opposed to overeating at about 4,000-5,000 calories and not doing anything. I used to feel so sluggish Even though there is no major change in my appearance (except for some shirts starting to get bigger on me) I still feel great!
