No change from the last few days. I was able to walk today. I watched my heart rate more this time and kept it in a better range of 140's. Monday I think it was too high 150's. So I am happy about that. 2.2 miles I feel good about that. I had a yummy sandwich at subway black forest ham only 380 calories. Hopefully keeping my calories down and walking will have been lower in weight tomorrow.

Congats on all the weight loss ladies.

I hopped on the scale this morning to a REALLY nice woosh surprise! Was down 2.4 pounds. The scale read 256.8 today, which is a number I haven't seen in a long time! If I can knock off another 1.4 pounds before my official weigh in I'll hit that 25 lb. mini goal. If not, it will definitely come next week!

today's weigh in: 148.2 lbs

i expected a big gain from yesterday. it was the DH and i's four year anniversary and we splurged on great italian food, frozen yogurt, and popcorn.

it'll take me a few days to get all this food off, but that's COMPLETELY fine with me. we had our time of delicious (but oh-so-naughty) food, now it's back on track for us.

speaking of track, my friend invited me to join cross country, so i'm up at 5am to get ready and go to practice which starts at 6:30am. i'm so ready to run some major miles.

Aka congrats on the cycling.

Heathymewannabe woohoo another 1.4 that's great.

Ciao Happy Anniversary. I want to get into running but in thing getting so weight off my knees first would be best, so it's still walking for me. Uh getting up at 5 everyday must be hard.

Diana I love japanese food too. Hopefully it won't stick around too long.

Well I went up 1/2 a pound. So still 251 since Sunday. Not sure why I have been under my calories, drinking my water and exercising (not Tuesday). Maybe I need to be closer to my calorie goal. I have been around 1000 not 1200 since Monday. Maybe I need to up my calories a bit to get some movement on the scale and off my body. I am trying hard but maybe too hard.

I thought I'd had a pretty good day yesterday, but it turns out I was at almost 2,000 calories - oops! I'm back up over 137 today, which is a little discouraging. But I had a great workout last night and my leg's feeling a bit better, so that's good.

ciao, I hope you enjoyed your run.

This is starting to get a little weird. Still losing quite fast while on my TOM? Interesting. I'll take it, and I'm super glad for it, but it is a bit odd.
Down from 294.6 to 292.8 today. 1.8 pounds!

Wish everyone the best today!

Morning everyone!! It sounds like most are doing well! I had my official weigh in this morning and I am finally back to where I was at the beginning of June when I went horribly off course!! I am now at 234.0 which is a 1.2 pound drop from last week and exactly 85 pounds gone!!!! I am also very close to moving BMI categories from very severely obese to severely obese!

Let's keep up the great work everyone!!

I am at about 255 pounds. I lost like 3 pounds in one day probably from water weight. I have been lowering my sodium to about less than 1,200 milligrams a day (due to high blood pressure and wanting to get off the pill they gave me for it as well). But I am trying to eat between 1,200 and 2,000 calories a day.
I heard from a good personal trainer online (Chris Powell) that if you change your daily intake of calories (from low to high on different days) then your metabolism will not get used to that low calorie intake and you will have a better time loosing weight. He helps people lose alot of weight, like 250 pounds a year for one person. I love the show he does. It is called extreme makeover weight loss edition. I watch it online through hulu (for free of course).
It is awesome and it helps me, if they can do it, so can I!

for (approx.) every 5 pounds lost:

devnet I usually see a swoosh during my TOM too.

I ate well yesterday but had a 0.2lbs gain today. I think it's just a day to day water fluctuation. I'm dying to see 234 or lower this week. Hope everyone is doing well.

Lishar I would increase your calories. You also have some height on you, which is great! Maybe even try 1500-1600 calories. Keep working it!

Steph Good job on the workout! I'm glad your leg is better.

Devnet Congrats on the 1.8 pounds!

Sluggerbean Congratulations on the 85 pounds!

Savages Hi and welcome!

Nicole Daily fluctuations happen. Keep up the great work!

savages: I'd love one day to get off my blood pressure meds too. Congrats on your three pounds, water weight or not!
sluggerbean: That's awesome!
nicole8705: In the past I've usually retained water through my TOM, then lost a bunch within a couple days of it being done, hence thinking it odd. Hope you can get to 234 this week!
Diana: thank you!
