This plateau is driving me nuts! I average 1300 cals a day (yes, I measure everything and calorie cycle from 1100 - 1500), but still can't break it

1/31 145.5

5: 143.5 back to my low! w1d2 c25k
6: 143.5 30 min elliptical
7: 145.0 30 min elliptical
8: 144.0
9: no weigh in - heat went out and uncontrollable shivering makes the scale return an error message
10: 146.0 I am so talented that I gained 2 lbs eating 1400 cals the last 2 days!
11: 145.5 DH's outpatient surgery today - food is erratic
12: 144.5
13: 144.5

I'm down 1.6 since yesterday to a new low of 167.6 . However, I don't expect that to stick around, since I had a wicked case of diarrhea yesterday. Apparently, I have a stomach microbe that is causing all the intestinal distress I've had the past couple of months, so I'm on triple antibiotics for the next 2 weeks, as well as a proton-pump inhibitor to help kill all the stomach acid off.

In better news, I bought a pair of size 12 jeans off the clearance rack at Target without trying them on. I expected to have to shrink into them, but I got home and tried them on and thy fit like a glove. Then I compared them to the size 14s I'd been wearing, and they were, indeed, smaller. So if they are vanity sized, they are vanity sized in proportion to my old jeans !

Woohoo, I love fresh threads

Movie date with my best friend tonight; we're seeing The Illusionist. I saved 500 calories and 50 carbs for a small, unbuttered popcorn (somewhat arbitrary numbers...it's impossible to find carb counts on theater popcorn, for some reason). Not the most nutritionally sound decision I could make, but I don't want to go over my budget with official weigh-in on Friday, and I want my popcorn!

1: 274.8
2: 273.8
3: 275
4: 271.2 (-1.2)
5: 270.4
6: 270
7: 268.8
8: 267.8
9: 268.8
10: 268.2
11: 267.8 (-3.4)
12: 268
13: 269.4
14: 270.6
15: 267.4
16: 267.6 but earlier weigh-in and post-breakfast. Weighed just now at 268.4 with jeans and sweatshirt and food in stomach, so I see a 266._ in my future tomorrow

nicole8705, Congrats on your new low!! What a nice number 225 is

Diana, hang in there! If you felt bloated yesterday, I bet you'll have a nice whoosh tomorrow.

Carter, I'm impressed by your fortitude I'd be climbing the walls by now. You're next drop is going to feel awesome.

Angie, how come the change back to phase 1? What plan is that?

Welcome, LindseyLou! It's interesting to see your progress in relation to your exercise/calories.

FitGirlyGirl, Sodium or not, I love whooshes — especially when they're followed by another drop!

Vixsin, Awesome job on meeting your goal for the month already!

Eclipse, sorry about the plumbing issues And congrats on the Target 12s!! I always find that their jeans run small, if anything! When I was normal weight, I had to buy them 1-2 sizes too big (I was in an 11/12 and could barely get into their 15 juniors) and even now at a 22 I have to buy a 24.

Also, to Arctic Mama and time2loseit.

Thank you for the welcome! I agree, I like to keep track of everything like that so I can look back and see where I might have slipped up or what I need to improve upon.

Paradisefalls - I'm going back to phase 1 because I've been messing around at this weight for 2 months now and can't seem to get moving again. It's a low carb, low fat, low sodium metabolic diet plan and phase 1 is the low-carbiest of them all. It's diet from a local Dr and it's a big hit here, probably most similar to Ideal Protein if you were looking for comparison with a better known diet, but no meal replacments or supplements. You can see more details at poondiet.com
