Angry Thursday Chatters

Greetings losers!
Did everyone have a good weekend? What did y'all do? We took it pretty easy. I've been going over to see about my mother who has a lot of congestion and a low fever.
Well, guess what friends-------tonight I have an atrocious sore throat. This is not good.

We are going on vacation beginning this Saturday. I must feel good for this. (We're going to San Francisco-----our yearly trip.)

I'm going to call Mother's dr. in the morning to see if she needs a prescription. (He doesn't like her to take much of anything since she's on so many pills.) Then , I might call my doctor's office and tell them my situation. I cannot believe this is happening to me!!!!!!!!! Hopefully, by Saturday, I'll be over whatever I have.

Susan, take care of yourself.

Tammy, I'm glad you're okay, just get some rest.

Sheree, what happened to you?

Sis, have your leaves started changing colors yet? I would love to see that. Is your daughter enjoying school this year?
when is your anniversary? Didn't you say y'all were going off somewhere to celebrate?

Well, I had wanted to lose 5 more pounds. If this sore throat persists, I might get my wish----the hard way.

Have a good Monday.

Well today is a beautiful day outside. Yes Tina, our leaves are changingin color big time! Our anniversary is Nov. 2 and we do go away for a couple days each year just the 2 of us. I love that we can do that. We always go someplace where there are nice places to walk nearby. Usually in a woody area so its very nice and quiet. I hope you feel better for your vacation. Take care of yourself. Good luck also on the 5 lbs loss. Have a great week ..... Sis

Hi Friends,

Let me start by saying how much I appreciate and respect all of you. Even though we don't know each us face to face I consider you all my dear friends. I value each of you.

On Saturday, a former coworker of mine (he worked at the middle school) was on his way to his second job with our district working security. He lived in OK and drove at least an hour yo work. he was involved in an accident and died. I've taken this rather hard. He was the sole bread winner for his family. Actually his wife worked with us in my department as well, he took the second job so she didn't have to work. Please make sure that you tell those that are your friends and loved ones how much they mean to you. We never know when it is our turn to depart this Earth. I felt that I should be the one to break it to some of his former students at the high school, since I was there last year. This kids took it hard which I had no doubt that they would.

Tina, Go to the dr. now. Don't let it wait!!! So you will be nice and well for your trip.

I broke down and talked my brother into calling me something in for yesterday. Hopefully that will knock out this infection.

You guys are ALL THE BEST!! THANKS!!!

Hello Everyone,
Susan, I'm so sorry about your co-worker friend. And, I hope the medicine you get now will make you feel better.

I wish my medicine would hurry up on me. I don't like slowing down and I think today I will have to do that.
At least, my appetite is almost nill. I think I'll stock up on yogurt. It's good for you and lo-cal.

Hey, we are having some cool nights now. Last night, I wondered if my husband had turned the a/c cooler. No, it was only 56 this morning. Brrr..... Of course, it's supposed to rise to 81 today. That's okay.

Let's hear from everyone.
What food problems is everyone having right now??????? I'm having a craving for chocolate since I've been ill.

Hi All,

I am feeling better, still not perfect but better. I don't have much of an appetite either but don't think I've lost anything either.

We've been chilly here in the morning. Today it was 48 this morning and 80 this afternoon. It's great!!

My cravings have been for twinkies. I have no Earthly idea why, but I want some so bad I can taste them.

Tina, hope you have fun on your trip!!

Susan, I am so sorry about your friend. I think I've been more vocal to my friends about my feelings since my parents passed away a few years ago. I know after Bob's accident in August, I told people how I felt. You just never know from one day to the next.

Take care of yourself.

Tina, have a great time on your trip. We may be taking a little weekend trip in a few weeks after the band and football season settle down. Tim is done with cross country for this year. He's relieved that it's done.

Bob doesn't need surgery!!! He goes back to work on Saturday. I think he's excited about it!

Hi,
Yes, I will have fun on the trip. I am feelin so much better today. However, my husband stayed home from work. He's taking stronger medicine so I hope he's better by Saturday.

Tammy, you have fun on your little trip. And, that is great news about Bob going back to work. I know he is happy about no surgery.

Sis, I can't believe you are having 30's at night. Brrrr......
Take care and don't freeze.

Hi friends,

Yesterday was one of the longest days of my life. I got home at 8:30 from going up to Oklahoma for the funeral. I told Pat, I'm going to lie on the couch for 5 mintues, make sure I'm up. I slept until 10:30 got up and went to bed. Only reason I woke up then is because he woke me up. I feel better today, I'm still tired but this weekend I'm doing NOTHING.

Tina, be careful. Hope Larry feels better. And most of all, HAVE FUN GIRLFRIEND!!!

Tammy, YIPEE, I'm so happy for Bob. Just that news will make him feel better. You need a vacation.

Sis, thanks!! I'm doing better.... BRRR!!!!!!! 30 degrees... and I'm thinking because our night temps have been cold at 48-the 50 something.

Ya'll have a good and safe weekend!! Thanks for always being here!! Ya'll are the best!

I'm all packed!!!!!!! Hope I get a good night's sleep. Last night, I kept thinking about what to pack.
I won't even mind the 4-hr. flight. It will be nice to rest.

Everyone stay well and stay OP.
Keep me in your thoughts------hopefully, I won't overeat all that sourdough bread.

See you in a few days!

Now I'm hungry since I read sourdough bread!!!! lol Maybe I need to go eat something soon.

Busy day again. Band contest. This is their last day to qualify for the State Contest. They will be so disappointed if they don't. They have improved so much, and the contests they've participated in, they have been so close to that "one" rating that they need.

Have a great weekend!

Tim is still seeing Jessica. In fact, they are together tonight. Our town had their Halloween parade tonight (not sure why it was so early). T & J were going to "hang out" with friends after they took their things back to the band room at the school.

The band didn't get a 1. They were so bummed. The worst part was, the percussion section got a 3! I thought they were going to cry! This is the same group that a month ago got 1st place for the percussion, and they've improved since then. Another local perc. group got a 3, and we found out that another one got a 4!!! Do you think the percussion judge was a bit tough?

School is going OK. The principal is still doing stupid things. I keep thinking that the new supt. will do something about it, but so far nothing has changed.

I really think that Tina could have taken all of us with her.

Hi,
I'm baaack. We had such a great time. Although, I didn't eat that much sourdough bread. I don't know what was wrong with me.
We got home tonight-----our luggage did not. We checked in one BIG case. The lady at the airport asked what was in it......oh, just ALL our clothes.
In the carry-on, I put our shorts, sweaters and jackets and toiletries.

I ate such a variety of things, but, little water and no milk.

Tammy-- I'm sorry about the band judging.
Susan-- do you feel better now that you're taking medicine? I hope so.
